Scandalous but brave
I can see why many would dislike, or even hate, this drama. And there are parts I found absolutely ridiculous too. I don't think it's a spoiler to mention that Dark Blue and Moonlight deals with 'cheating' in a relationship. That's what the drama is known for. And I was curious about how the characters will deal with it.Not going to lie, I do not approve of a lot of the actions that the main leads chose to do. They aren't the best characters I've watched and they will never grow on me. But there were aspects of the drama that I truly liked and enjoyed and hence the high rating. In my opinion, the way the characters dealt with the ordeal in the end was very mature and also quite relieving. Though the production of the entire show was very questionable, the acting was quite decent and the story itself wasn't unlikable and can even entertain you depending on the kind of person you are. I had moments where I really enjoyed the show, and moments where I was frustrated and needed a break.
Overall, I am conflicted about whether I liked the drama more or disliked it, but since I got through the end and since it did engage me and had me sitting throughout without getting bored, I do think it's worth a shot.

Short, but touching
This was great! The plot was very to-the-point but emotional and the acting was really good too! All I wished for was more communication between the leads.I am just putting myself in Light's shoes here. If I was assaulted, abused, and treated like shit the way he was, not knowing what I was living for, and suddenly a stranger who I've never met before is being the gentlest human I know of, it'd kill me. The kindness would kill me because it's something I've never experienced before.
And the actors got that so right!
I'm sobbing as I write this because I pray for no one to be in Light's shoes. And for those who live like him, I hope they find a Shuo to help them out!

A pool of emotions one can dive into
I watched this on a whim. I didn't plan on it at all and despite the 32747 other shows on my plan-to-watch list, the synopsis of this caught my eye so much that it skipped the list.To begin with, I was shooketh just 20 minutes into the movie because I totally did not expect it to be as explicit as it turned out to be. And to make that explicitness into something so artistic and pleasing with emotions so raw is not an easy feat that this movie could accomplish. Enough that I could not bear to skip the stuff I usually do.
The movie did end up leaving me frustrated, but for me, it is worth the turmoil it put me through for two hours. One should be in the right frame of mind to watch this, and I totally was. It is filled with angst, raw passion, and fear of loss, and it was such a beautiful depiction of the above-mentioned emotions. The political intrigue was just enough to support the main plot while not being too confusing. In my opinion, this movie was a perfect balance between romance, angst, pain, politics, and betrayal.
Definitely worth giving a try. (Make sure you are comfortable with bloodshed and nudity before you decide to give this a shot)

A hit or a miss
Light On Me has as much good stuff as it does drawbacks. It has a very generic plotline, cliche scenes that I cringed at, a relatively slow pace, and the feel of a very typical rom-com (which isn't a good thing considering the plots going around these days). But Light On Me is also an example of a very mature take on romance, and the love triangle in this is done with so much thought that one can't help but admire it and its simplicity. The acting was a bit awkward to watch in the beginning. In fact, I took a 4-month break after watching the first two episodes. But once it grows on you, it's not as hard to watch anymore, and one might even find it adorable as I did.
My sister, on the other hand, refuses to complete watching this and I do not blame her. This show is not the best I have watched, and it is a total hit or a miss. It is up to the individual to decide their stance on it.

Advance Bravely
As someone who read the book right before I watched the show, I was quite pleased with the way it was executed. Sure the book was a total romance while this was a total bromance (though it gets quite obvious that they're in a relationship), but most of the dialogues and the story stayed true to the novel and I'm so glad that they made it work despite the censor board blocking their path. Now I must say, this show is VERY flawed. The acting was average, at times the storyline got boring, and the editing could have been better. But what won me over is that they used the exact same dialogues from the novel most of the time and I was so glad. I went in to watch the show with absolutely no expectations, and I was left satisfied.
As a fan of the book, I think they did a very decent job. The casting was great! And there was a lot of fluff XD so that's a plus.
It is worth a watch if you are bored and need some slice of life.

Too Precious!
This movie is so serene, calming, and such a cute watch. Though it's short, it is very sweet and meaningful!I'll definitely watch it again.
Many might not share the same opinion as me, because the story is indeed a bit cliche, but it's way too cute and adorable. Definitely worth a watch in my opinion.
It has elements of shounen-ai, but a ton of message with regards to friendship. If you are bored and are looking for something to pass time with, or if you are looking for something that's simple, then do check this out!

MUST WATCH!
I'll keep this very short cause there isn't much to say about this show other than the fact that it's so wholesome.I personally feel so happy and fluffy after watching it, I absolutely loved it. The only drawback is that it is way too fast-paced and I wish there was more.
So if you are a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community or if you are a Fujoshi or a Fudanshi, just watch it. It is super short and even if you end up not liking it, at least you have given it a try and didn't waste much time.

Loved it!
(Not going to be a proper review... just my feelings about the show)This show.... where do I even begin?
Like all the others, I did not cry while watching the show, but I am crying now while writing this. It's just so ughhhh... but I guess I get why they did what they did... the message of the show is the title itself, 'Make our days count' cause you never know what might happen next...
This is probably the funniest, loveliest, and one of the most engaging BL I've watched so far! I remember laughing a lot, cringing a lot, shipping and squealing a lot, and now I am crying a lot... I'll just go bury myself under the blankets for the next week or so I guess...
The actors did a splendid job playing their role. Like they honestly made the show, which had a mediocre plot, seem a thousand times better. The music is fantastic as well... especially the background piano that plays every episode is beautiful.
If you are weak-hearted, then here's a piece of advice (which can be considered a little spoiler).... pretend this show has only nine episodes and not ten.... if you watch the tenth one, god knows what will happen...

Not the best, but good enough...
To be completely honest, this show is an utter mess. Like it cannot get any messier even if it wants to. The editing, especially, was so bad, I was cringing. But I give this show an 8.5 just because of the four main leads. Their acting and on-screen chemistry is one of the best I've seen. Especially Zee and Saint's. These two people just saved the show for me.
In the beginning, the series was actually quite interesting. It had a proper plot that kind of did hook me on and the script wasn't bad. But as it went on, it all went downhill. Then I read somewhere that they had to stop shooting for a while because of the pandemic and it all made sense. I'm just glad that they didn't discontinue the show and gave us an ending.
Overall, if you are looking for a proper BL series to watch and don't care much about the story, this is definitely a great watch and you must give it a try.

GIVE IT A SHOT!
To start off, this story is a complete cliche. Just a normal revenge plot with a complicated love triangle. But that's where the negative aspects of the show end. (even though many might consider it enough to drop the show, I suggest all give it a try)I absolutely loved Itaewon Class as a whole. It had everything I was looking for in a Kdrama and more. First off, this drama isn't much on romance. Even though I mentioned earlier that it has a complicated love triangle, the romance aspect of this show is close to nil, which I really appreciate for some reason (considering the fact that I'm a huge romantic, it surprised me that I came to like it). The charm of this show lies in the bonds of friendship and trust the characters share among themselves. The loyalty, the hard work and the genuine nature of each character won me over and what topped it all off was the perseverance of the main lead. The female lead was so cocky and imperfect but so raw as a human being. No one is perfect with the way they think and the character of the female lead proved that right. I had mixed opinions on various characters throughout the course of the drama but in the end, I was able to make a firm decision on all of them.
The acting was definitely incredible. Especially the actors who played the antagonists were really good at what they did. The OST of this drama is worth going on everyone's playlist that every track suited the scenes they played it along with.
The plot could have been better but the number of laughs and smiles that came out of me and the anxiety the show gave me makes up for all the plot holes I came across.
Definitely worth a watch.

A drama on love, friendship, and dreams made right!
What an amazing show this was.If the phrase - slice of life - had a meaning, it would be this show right here, filled with its overly dramatic acting, it's super cliche script, and it's wholesome plot.
It's a definite hit or a miss, but it is sure to get one out of a slump.
And this is a boy band show done right for real. I've watched my fair share of dramas, and this beats it's competitors in the trope.
A must watch for anyone who's looking for a cute, fun, wholesome show that can fill a void they didn't know existed.

Not the best, but still a good one
Let me begin by saying how much I had to skip in this show. It could have easily just been an 8 episode drama, but they stretched it to 12 with so much content that was unnecessary that it was a letdown. The acting can be a bit, if not a lot, exaggerated, and the script wasn't the best either. There is so much more that I thought could have been done better. But despite all the negative aspects, I did enjoy watching My Day a lot. The main actors were great, the story is a cliche, but the main leads' chemistry spread joy, and it can get people through the challenging parts of the show. Fortunately, I watched this show with the right frame of mind and thoroughly enjoyed most of it. It is a hit or a miss, and it was mainly a hit for me.

EXPLORE THE BEAUTY OF CENSORED ROMANCE TO THE LARGEST EXTENT
I would like to warn the readers that this is a totally biased review of why I feel the need to make all drama lovers watch this extremely poignant and beautiful series. To start off with, let me point out the obvious - The characters. Wen Ke Xing is a man who's of a dual nature, mostly visible when he's away from the ML. WKX's character is so intricately written and has so much story to back up his actions, that his counterpart, Zhou Zi Shu, comes off as a little bland in the first half of the show. As a reader of the book, I knew more than to just judge his character in the first ten to fifteen episodes and knew there would be a lot of character development, which did happen later. The supporting characters were equally brilliantly portrayed, which was totally unexpected because the novel itself was a bit shallow when it came to the depiction of the other characters.
The romantic aspect of this show is obviously the highlight of Word Of Honor because of how explicitly evident the bond between WKX and ZZS is. In the drama, their bond is much deeper than like and love. It is so great, it will warm your heart and make you feel fluffy. Unlike BL's, there's a beauty in a censored BL adaption, The Untamed being one of the best, with Word Of Honor joining the list.
The plot of the drama is very different from that of the book but in a good way. I really like what they did with the story in the drama and as a reader of the original work, I have absolutely no complaints. The storyline got slow-paced in between, but it was needed as it is what led to what happened after.
The fights in this drama were very pleasing to watch and you could see the hard work that went into directing them. I heard that the drama's length was shortened due to the lack of resources and even not considering the obstacles it faced, WOH turned out to be a great watch. It was both engaging and entertaining and hooks the viewer from the very beginning.
Most people wouldn't regret watching this, so please give it a try!! It's such a breath of fresh air and you might never know, this is the drama you have been looking for!

What makes a man grow into a king
It was a glory to watch the journey of one man who owned nothing gradually turn into a King who makes one feel empowered. To say the least, this one was one of the best dramas I've watched.
There were several drawbacks, unnecessary cliches, characters, and dare I say, unnecessary ends, but that will not stop me from standing by my previous statement. All because of how the story was told and the lead actor, who was phenomenal. (and only 20 at the time of filming. A shocker)
I felt the romance was nothing but a tiny trigger to the plot. Still, the most incredible relationship this show offers is one of trust and loyalty between the lead and their 'subjects.' There were times when I laughed because of the said 'relationships,' but they made me sob more.
I am glad I watched this, and it'll be a loss to pass it on without giving it a shot, so I urge anyone who reads this review to give it a go, and you will not regret it.

The War Between The Drowning and The Drowned
I understand the hype around this movie and it deserves it all. It holds true to the Oscars it won even though those four statues don't define a gem such as this.Parasite, in general, is a movie about classes in society and the depiction of this theme is deep in many ways with the darkest of humor one can write. It's engaging and thrilling, but most of all, it spreads a message no one would have expected from it. Twenty minutes into it and one is already drawn to the fact that this movie is not something you'd easily find on Netflix or any other movie bingeing sites. When Bong Joon Ho made a film out of this script, he clearly wasn't aiming at beautifying social hierarchy or pleasing the audience ( but he did it anyway), and you'd immediately find that out. The director wanted to spread a meaningful message as he did in all his previous movies and his intentions become clear towards the end of the movie when things take a turn. The movie, Parasite, was aiming at portraying the war between the Drowning and Drowned (both who I refer to as the working class that's trying so hard to survive the clutches of the rich who's the only boat in the vast ocean that can help save them). I wouldn't want to give anything more away so I highly recommend everyone to definitely watch Parasite as it's a rare jade to find these days.
I suggest all who haven't watched Parasite yet to walk in with no expectations. It gets better every minute and you'll know it but having no expectations will just help you experience the entire essence of the movie as you won't be looking forward to something that's not there.
