Poorly executed and underdeveloped plot lines
This series comes under the genre of war of y and has similar behind-the scenes kinda story.I will be honest here, they had some good ideas for a series with potential. But the main issue with this one is that the script is so poorly written with lots of loopholes and weird scenarios. At times ,which is a lot of times, things doesn't make any sense. None of the characters are explored enough and makes us feel disconnected to all of them.
Coming to the acting part, except for the actors who played Zo and Gun (they really did well), and almost phawin, the rest of them have no acting skills whatsoever. It looks very shallow and artificial. All the characters have complex emotions and plot lines, but none of them were utilized or expressed.
....
Spoiler ahead....
...
I can probably get my head around most of it, but the part where the sasaeng (stalker fan) who does a lot of scary stuff and threatens to harm one actor's life was invited to live with them rather than being handed over to police baffles me. Like, in what world does that happen!!!
..
There are two love triangles (one of them isnt actually a "love" triangle) and both are poorly developed in a deeper level.
The story if it were given in the hands of a better director and scriptwriter, would have made a drastic difference, because it had potential ....but sadly it didn't work.
Watchable, but not really worth your time.

Weird, but good weird or mediocre weird !?
The main plot and the actors are so good , dont get me wrong, but there is something about this drama that makes it a bit less compelling. Both main characters are a bit weird, but in their own different ways. One of them seems to be clueless and guarded about their own feelings, whereas the other is juggling between being emotionally constipated and being unreasonably in love.
The pacing of the drama is a bit slow for my personal liking, and makes it look a bit boring than it might be or has to be. But the actors are really talented, they just nail the character descriptions to the T. They got great chemistry as well. Despite all of this, it somehow got me really invested into the story.
Nevertheless, its worth a watch, if you are in mood for a different story in a different setting than usual.

Unpredictable and really good
This series has definitely turned out to be one of the very well made BLs out there. It has a very different and interesting plot which has never been explored before. The script is solid.Loved the cast- the adults and the kids. They all were exceptionally good at portraying their roles.
The story really travels through the story of a lost and found relationship and how some drastic things affected their bonds. It also has a faint supernatural undertone, but it is so subtle and a charming element for the story.
First episode is a bit confusing as to what we are heading into, but its totally worth a watch or more. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cute and quirky, a fun watch !!
This is one drama which started out as a bit weirdly confusing to me because of the very unconventional kind of main leads and very different storyline. Its not a usual thing to find such a quirky pairing - of a crazy introverted yet cute boy with another crazier, a bit innocently stupid and all over the place boy.
Even the styling and appearances are very different from any BL we might have already seen. And all of these makes this drama a very fresh watch with different kinds of characters and settings.
The actors have impeccable chemistry, the kiss scenes are probably one of the best I've ever seen in a korean BL. Its so well done, passionate and cute.
The second couple made me tear up a bit, but they are really cute too.
There are a lot of heartwarming scenes . The music score and cinematography is cool too.
A good watch and definitely worth your time.

Worth the steps
Honestly, the story develops pretty much like the name "step by step". It is definitely slow burn and demands your patience for the romance to blossom. But I will consider the fact that this is not the story of a couple living their love-life, but a couple (or two) navigating through their life to their ultimate love .If you are into stories which you can relate to in your life, this one is for you. There are no lies here, it shows life at its realest form. No exaggerated scenes, no unbelievable happenings.
The actor portraying Jeng is the cherry on top of the cake, he's such a natural actor. He perfectly shows the emotions and confusions and awkwardness of his character and is a delight to watch.
A little unclear about how the side couple's story ends, but probably (hopefully) its for a second season.
Totally recommend, its worth it.
