Watch it for the comedy, not the romance or anything else
1ML and Kim Won-hae are amazing(!!), would recommend it just cuz of these 2. Some songs are also great.Biggest fault in this is the terrible "strong female lead". They wanted to subvert gender roles, and it worked a few things, but the FL didn't seem like a real person, and I couldn't believe for a second that she was actually in love with ML. It looked more as if she liked the attention, than anything.
The mother is a completely toxic person, and the "bad guy" is as flat for motivation as a door, having no background whatsoever.

Great premise, poor delivery
The premise of the show is really interesting, and the 1st episode can really hook you in to want to know how thing are gonna develop.A lot of episodes were really funny, specially in the beginning with the filming of the reality show.
While having most (if not all) the "feel good" k-dramas clichés that we all wait for and love, they did managed avoided some extreme obvious clichés, and I quite enjoyed that.
Best characters by faaaaar: Screenwriter No Do-Yoon hahahaha she's amazing, and whenever she showed up on screen, I knew something good was coming. Director Han Jae-Won was also great, and I love their interactions. They both got their happy ending, and No Do-Yoon's has to be the cutest one I've seen in a while.
To me the biggest problem with the show is character development, or to be more precise, the lack of.
Both main leads didn't had ANY character development. From the first episode, to the last, they all behaved the same, and not for a lack of opportunity.
1FL is too passive, and never learns to stand up for herself. I like how empathetic she is, but nobody learns anything from her, so it feels like lost potential.
1ML has a "savior complex" that is really annoying. They make him to be this tormented guy for things that are not even real, or don't make any sense.
2FL was unbearable(!!!), the actress is super cute, but the character is so selfish and so egocentric, it had to be Stockholm Syndrome to make them like her.
2ML had a really good dynamic with 1FL, and even though cliché and very very dramatic (boy could go straight into doing telenovelas in Mexico), I can't say that I didn't hoped he got his happy ending.
Then, they rushed the last 2 episodes to make the standard happy ending: side characters who were "bad/mean" apologising, time jump to "develop" the lead, etc. But it felt really forced, with some characters going full 180, and some not even having a reason to do anything except "honour".
Overall, it's a bit above average, some interactions made it worthwhile to watch, but I felt the pace of the show was poorly managed. A lot of moments wasted repeating the same things, and a LOT of things towards the end was rushed or straight up not explained at all.
