Sweetest Love Story Award Goes To.....
I don't usually give such high reviews (for me, 10/10 means perfect), Soooo, 9/10 means smth!
Pros:
-Chemistry is amazing
-THE BEST OST I HAVE EVER HEARD (ALL OF THE SONGS ARE GREAT)
-Slowburn, but done the right way, soooo sweet
-could not stop smiling
-natural and realistic romance
-loved the obvious pursuit of the ml
-they speak very understandably (good drama to watch if you want to practice your Chinese listening comprehension)
-very good looking cast
-very handsome ml and very pretty fl
-the way they did chemistry
-they didn't kiss that much, but the way they simply looked at each other gave me butterflies. But when they did kiss, it meant smth so it had all the more meaning
-more time dating and loving than not
-cuteness overload
-2 introverts in love
-both ml and fl are green forests (no red flags!)
-incorporation of Chinese food was not only educational, but also fun to watch!
-no love rivals (fl and ml were able to have friends of the other gender who didn't like them! That's really rare! Go platonic friendships!
-no breaking up
-best ending
-tied up many loose ends
(as you can see, I am overflowing with good things to say)
Cons:
-I felt it was a little slow paced at times
-some of the supporting characters didn't know how to mind their own business (but like it was cute)
-I wish we got the more time in the studio actually singing songs and the like (but the times they did, was extraordinary!)
-not very much skinship surprisingly
-very sweet and slow (which can also be a pro)
(cdrama makers should learn that a lot of people don't want to see angst, love rivals, separating relationships, toxicity. This drama had none, and that is why it's so beautiful!)
btw, if you liked Amidst A Snowstorm Of Love, there's a really high chance you'll like this. (They're also written by the same script writer)
Anyway, great watch!
