Song Kang, please make a deal with me
I decided to write reviews based on my feelings only so do not expect any deep thoughts from me. I am no critic. I watch stuff cause I need an escape from my everyday life. So far I have the opinion that if you signed SongKang in a drama, I am going to love it. I don't know what kind of spell he cast over me but I enjoy everything he does. I always love a plot where there really is not the typical heroic good guy. I love bad guys, so when I read that this was going to be about demon making deals with people I was sold. The cast overall was amazing, the story captured me till the end. I absolutelly love the , true’ song and is living rent-free in my mind now. I fell for Kang Seung Ho and how he portrayed Noh Do Kyung. His storyline was the best for me and it broke my heart a little at the end. Definitely gonna watch it again sometime in future.

Not the type of cooking drama I was expecting
Cooking dramas aren't really my thing but this kept jumping on me every time I opened Netflix so I thought why not? The visuals interested me and I thought it would be good to try something new for once. I do not know why but I was expecting something sweet and feelgood after all my experience with jdramas. Yo, it was a trauma. I was crying like a baby in the last two episodes. And although it has a good ending, kinda, I wasn't ready for this type of ending. But I have to admit that I binge-watched it even tho I knew from the beginning that it was going to be sad. It was written all over (but still subtly) that something was wrong with Kai. The storytelling kept me interested, especially with the hints about Gaku going sideways. I fell in love with these two and I am so happy that it had turned into a sweet bromance in the end. I will probably never watch it again and even tho I complained about the sad stuff I am glad I watched it.Was this review helpful to you?

Butterfly eruption
I am just overwhelmed with how cute this show is. It’s exactly what I needed. Something kind, sweet and without unnecessary drama. I don’t remember last time I felt so many butterflies? I just keep watching Kang and Mo’s scenes over and over again and the kiss in the last episode? So sweet. I giggled like a little girl. I hope the tune of the show will stay the same. I think it’s necessary to have a show that are just kind to you and that these type of shows can heal you a little bit if you are having a hard time. Was this review helpful to you?

It should have a sad ending and then everything will be alright
I am trying to think of the series as a whole thing and judge it based on all the episodes. But I just can't, the ending killed every little good thing about it (and there weren't that many, to begin with). The cast was good. I think they fulfilled the roles they were given, but I admit it wasn't anything exceptional. Since 5e whole plot is travelling into the future, you are prepared from the beginning that there is a big possibility, that it won't end well. You have a mother who died after her son went missing so of course he has to go back. But the fact that many many years later he still approaches a teenage guy like that really didn't sit well with me. He should have cherished him as a beautiful memory and even if they met so many years later he should just step back and watch him from afar. I admit the ending was kinda making me a little Ill. Maybe it's thanks to the fact I am now over 30 but relationship where there is a big age gap and one of the couple is still a kid, it just doesn't sit a well with me.Was this review helpful to you?

Masterpiece: storytelling that took my breath away acting that stunned me
I am speechless. I thought it would be a bit boring, since it wasn’t that original and was kinda cliché, but boy was I wrong. This show absolutely took my breath away, and I cannot wrap my head around how much I miss the show already. The acting was supreme. I seriously don’t know what else can I say about the two main leads other than they were amazing. The same goes for the storytelling. Honestly, you could tell the whole plot ending from the beginning. But it doesn’t matter. It consumed me from the minute I started watching. The execution was just super perfect. I mean seriously I am at a loss of words. It was just perfect, the tension, how they captured their feelings, the acting was exceptional. I just wish I could forget it and watch it all over again. Was this review helpful to you?

I need more Taiwanese BL
I will admit that I didn't like the series much in the beginning. It was kinda cringy, nothing original there but these two things don't have to mean that the show is not good or not worth watching so I kept watching. I can kinda day that after watching other Taiwanese bl I think the cinematic style of this show and the storytelling as well isn't my thing so I won't say it was bad. I just didn't particularly enjoy it. But the leads were really cute! They worked very well together and they have good chemistry so I was pleasantly surprised with the last two episodes. I really liked the last two episodes so I can honestly say that I enjoy watching the end.Was this review helpful to you?

I still feel sorry for First
I didn't expect much from the plot so I was not really disappointed but I was a bit irritated with all the loose ends. It's good that they didn't try to explain everything in detail but a lot of things still didn't make sense. I liked the side couple, that was a nice side story and they had a good chemistry, but nothing deep there. But in the end, I was just pissed at Sprite and Zee. I just didn't like how it all ended with First. It felt really unfair how he was tangled in their sh*t and how they fucked with his head. For me, there should be more explaining and more apologizing. I mean how could you forgive someone so easily and how could they not question the change in Zee’s behaviour? I believe there were a lot of people who enjoyed this but I think it wasn’t for me. Also I really despised the toxic mother in this show and wasn't happy with the nice family picture their showed us at the end.Was this review helpful to you?

when you cast a perfect villain
Although it wasn't the best thing I have seen the chemistry between the main couple was good and I am obsessed with Woo Seok as the villain. We can all agree that he is a fine piece of cookie but I would have never expected that the evil character would suit him so much. His visuals and calm composure sell the show to me. I am still kinda sad that they had a really good story set up for him but didn't go much deeper. I think he deserved more. especially with this black-and-white attitude when it comes to good and evil. it could have been so much better. I think that his sweet and psychotic smile will live rent-free in my head for some time. Was this review helpful to you?
Can someone explain to me why do I love it so much?
I don't get it. I start watching it just out of boredom. But I love it. I love it! The cast is amazing. The tension is making my breathing uneven. They portraited the emotions so perfectly you can basically read what's happening inside ther hearts from their expressions. The plot, even tho it's not the most original one is still entertaining cause it's still accurate and it pictures simple life problems perfectly. These things happen and they complicate people's lives so it's good to see it on the screen. The soundtrack complements the scenes so well. The overall vibe captured my heart. I am so happy I started to watch. It's exactly what I needed even tho I didn't know I was missing something like this. Also for whatever reason I can watch the intro on repeat. Was this review helpful to you?

Just skip the cringe stuff and you’ll discover something sweet
I don't know why, but through the whole series, I felt like I was watching something similar to Dream Night.Although, I am not the biggest fan of the plot that works with best friends turn lovers' kind of thing, I have to admit it was delivered well here. It had great potential and could have been even better. Still, I understand that some factors possibly worked against it. Like budget etc. I just wish that they would stop putting this kind of cringy, comical stuff like the girls and the screaming and the unhinged laughing, if you know what I mean, but I enjoy watching it in the end.I love the tension between the main couple. They worked well together, and it was one of the best kisses I have seen.

How the hell am I suppose to review this
It was really good. The nine episodes were so good. History 1 and 2 didn't really catch my heart but this one had depth and character development. The story was running perfectly and I constantly fell in love with the guys since their acting looked natural. But I don't know how to handle the ending. I don't mind a sad ending but honestly, after watching this I just feel sad and empty. I am not sure if I can't cope with how heartbreaking and sorrowful the ending was. I would say it was worth watching it but it left a lingering aftertaste I did get rid of and i am just crying.,, I have changed. But he won't.”

So unexpectedly good I binge-watched it in one go
I feel like I am being really generous but I can't help it, I watched this since I needed to kill some time and omg IT WAS GOOD. The main couple was so perfect. I LOVED how sweet they were later on when they started dating. So so sweet. I loved every scene they had together. They portrayed the romance so well. And the NC scene in the last episode? I did not expect that. I thought they would give us a kiss on the bed and that would be it. but THANK GOD they give us this. So delicious. Enemies to lovers will never get old for me. Definitely gonna watch it again. Hopefully with a proper subtitles. Was this review helpful to you?

What an unexpected nice surprise
I started to watch this without high expectations so in the end I was nicely surprised. I think as I get older I really appreciate when there is a bl with adult characters. These two were both stunning and they had amazing chemistry. Their visuals fit perfectly the story and loved the throwbacks. It kinda gives it more depth. The story wasn't really that original but I liked it anyway. Friends to lovers is a good plot if done well and these two definitely delivered it. I kinda wish there was more with these two cause I would definitely watch it.Was this review helpful to you?

‘You should be scared of humans not monsters’ is always a good plot
I have seen a few reviews and I am once again surprised at how different can people view one show. I am writing this right after finishing the series. It took me some time, not because the story wasn't captivating, even tho there were some cliches (which was expected like c’mon) but because I wasn’t in the right mood for this type of show. Also, I thought that Instagram spoiled the whole thing for me so I was like ‘What's the point now’. Guys, I couldn't be more wrong. Like the ending just blows my mind. I am a big fan of monstrous things in literature or dramas so you can't kinda go wrong with me but this was a really nice execution. I loved the cast. I love the overall vibe. The mi, itary bromance. Oh c'mon, give me more. I hope we will get much more in the next season. I know there are probably many things that can be pointed out as bad but for me, it was perfect. I love it. I wanna forget it and watch both seasons again. Was this review helpful to you?

The two main leads were killing it and I love them
But the story tho? It felt half-cooked. I was seriously confused as hell most of the time. It was such a good idea but they should have done it better. A lot of things didn't make sense. The subtitles I had (English) sucked so much that I stop reading them pretty often. But honestly, the acting of Boom and Hai was excellent. They were the reason why I kept watching. Boom’s eyes… They scream suffering every time he looked at Ken. You could breath the sorrow and despair from the screen. Also, in the shower scene when Ken begs him to make him forget Din. Ah, that was perfect. It wasn't the worst thing I have seen but it's sad cause it really could have been better. Especially with such a great actors. Was this review helpful to you?
