I tried, I really did…
I wish I could give this show more stars but I just can’t lie to y’all like that. Would not recommend…I don’t know if it was the writing or directing but the mark was missed every time. The story didn’t suck me in, dialogue was blah, and the MCs chemistry sort of fizzled but never BANG’d. Hottest scene was between Kana and Pao. I even found myself rooting for Plearn & Tin more than Park & Tin. I saw real chemistry there and I think Tin would have feed off of Plearn’s warm intensity!! There were about three storylines but family seemed to be the underlying theme. Tin was abandoned, Bie and Pai’s family don’t approve of them, Kana’s home is disruptive and Pao received too much praise. Pao’s drug overdose came out of no where, like why. Then Pai only earning respect from her parents once they found out she was rich…shocker!
The last two episodes with the heavy scenes just seemed so misplaced. It felt like a lackluster attempt at recreating the LITA special episode. From the moment Park flipped Tin in that bed, we could have cut it. Stiff “riding” accompanies awful kissing paired with poorly portrayed frustration due to “unwanted interruptions” with the phone calls. BRUH TAKE IT!! End this nightmare PLS!! Both bath scenes could have been deleted and the film burned.
All in all, great concept, poor execution.

What's not to love??
I am not sure why so many others had such high expectations for this show that it has garnered such dislike. I personally think the show was awesome. Sweet, cute, a bit steamy, but overall a good watch and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a lighter form of BL entertainment.I highly agree, the name sees a bit misleading. The danger aspect was not a consistent factor in this series, you really only experienced any danger towards the end but it definitely wasn't KP.
In regards to Chimon and Perth. They are both portraying teenagers, not juniors in college. Why would they suddenly turn act as if they are filming a scene in 50Shades?! The chemistry was evident and both did well portraying clumsy adolescent love. If you want heavy petting and intense make out scenes, no this is not the show for you. If you like coming of age stories/enemies to lovers, this show will be your happy place!
I very much enjoyed watching this series. The writing was done very well and no stone was left unturned. I can't wait to see PerthChimon in their next series.

Do It!
This has graduated to my comfort show immediately after the first watch! The show is sickeningly sweet and such a good time. The characters are loud and quirky, the couples are hot, the storyline is extremely cute, what’s not to love!?NueaToh definitely spiced up the screen with their slow burn. Nuea’s possessiveness was a huge IT factor for me. It was clear that his feelings for Toh were new and sudden. The phone case!! Ugh such a good Easter egg! I couldn’t wait for him to pull back that curtain in Toh’s room. Any doubt of Toh’s feelings should have instantly disappeared ?Toh is a bit obsessive, but who doesn’t like their partner to be a little crazy over them? His mementos were sweet. Honestly his group of friends made this series so wholesome. The care and support they displayed for one another was such a touching sight. ?
SkyJao, the cutest side couple ever!! I loved their story just as much as I loved NueaToh. I love how Sky helped Jao overcome his insecurities. His struggle with body image was all to relatable but Sky helped him to make small changes that allowed him to become more comfortable in his skin. ? We love a supportive hubby! I felt you never could doubt Sky’s attraction to Jao. Sky’s softer approach caused me to be taken by surprise at his more aggressive demeanor in bed. Their heavier scenes left quite the impression ?
10/10, definitely recommend! **Warning: Secondhand embarrassment should be expected, but you’ll quickly get over it ?

Didnt love it but definitely didn’t hate it
Honestly I liked everything but the homophobia. I know it’s a common subject in BLs, rightfully so. And the writers did a sweep job of making us dislike Ton’s father. What really triggered me was that his family was so well off and highly educated and all that jazz, then why was surrogacy not mentioned when the mom realized he was gay at a young age. If having an heir was really that crucial, then y’all could have figured this out. Now you’re paying unnecessary hospital bills lmao. I LOVED Ni and Ai (best friends and gay roommates) their scheming with Miriam was perfect! Kept me laughing the whole time.Would I rewatch, probably not but definitely happy I took the time to finish it. 7/10, would still recommend

Fantastic story with a deeper meaning
I binged it in one night. It wasn’t too cheesy and I loved the video game concept. The characters are easy to fall in love with. I don’t want to say to much but I caught on to the ending around episode 5. It was still beautiful to watch. It was heartwarming to watch the MLs relationship blossom. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this series. Also big THANK YOU to Korea for giving us 40min episodes. ?The plot didn’t feel rushed, character development was nice and the ending was satisfying. I hope we get more series like this one.

I could rewatch 100 times over
I am so happy I took a chance to watch this masterpiece. I really enjoyed the depth of the series. The stress of the BL industry and Ship-culture puts on these men to uphold a fake relationship is disturbing. I understand it’s a responsibility but people have to be realistic. They are actors, this is their job but they have a personal life that should stay personal. Co-Stars date all the time, it’s nothing new but it should happen naturally.Anywho, rant over! Chemistry ✔️Budget ✔️ Acting ✔️
Gene and Nubsib were such a treat to watch! Nubsib loved that man to pieces from a young age but I can see that Gene’s love morphed from brotherly to romantically over time. I see the age gap being mentioned but no lines were crossed, it was wonderfully written!

Great character development
This is a great lighthearted series. I enjoyed the characters but Bai Lang did a fantastic job!! His portrayal of severe anxiety disorder and the inner battle that is sometimes fought due to overthinking, beautiful!!Watching as he and Xun’an’s relationship progresing, Lang eventually letting down his guard and letting him in. I feel his guilt for what happened to his parents had to be such a burden for him. That guilt cause a lot of fear and I could resonate with him as he pushed Xun’an away. I have been there before and Bia Long’s character was everything to me. I loved watching him battle Ye for Xun’an. Bai Lang is fiesty AF and once he had Xun’an, he wasn’t letting him go. LOVED IT!
Getting their happy ending was tough. Xun’an put in a lot of work. Trigger warning tho, there is a case of physical assault between a father and son. In this case, the son was pleading for his boyfriends acceptance since Bai Lang was an orphan and he wanted him to have a complete family. Poor thing endured excessive kneeling and being beaten with a cane for what seems like a month. I was a bit worried that would have triggered an episode from Bai but thankfully it didn’t.
When it comes to the chemistry, I feel as if it started well but fizzled. That’s only due to the kissing being awful. They tried to make it better with angles but towards the end there, they let some awful lip locking be seen in full view…yikes! Don’t get me wrong, they were definitely cute together, and the side couples were just as enjoyable to watch. I really enjoyed I Qi and Alex’s relationship. I was hoping for a bit more but I guess I will just have to settle for Alex’s last flirtatious line.
10/10, would definitely watch again!

Seriously one of my top 10 fav BLs!
Yes yes and MORE yes!!I really enjoyed everything about this series. I liked how angsty it was. I like the plot and the different storylines. Casting was topnotch, no one bored me or stood out too too much. It was a slow build at first but around ep. 5 I was genuinely hooked. The drama kept getting juicier and juicer. Let it break it down:
Korn and Knock: Besties for the resties but Korn actually likes Knock. I can’t lie, their initial hookup scene aftermath gave r*pey vibes but I can understand waking up and feeling like your backend was hit by a train. Max and Tul always deliver on the chemistry tho and I loved watching their little exchanges. Knock (Tul) is so cute when he cries!! I just about had it with Korn being so tight lipped all the time. I wanted to scream at him “TELL HIM THE DAMN TRUTH!! PLENG IS A SNAKE!!” but I get it, he was dealing with his ex Mew and family drama as well so, maybe he just had too much on his mind. Plus he was pretty clueless to her antics as well. That “Husbands protect their wives” line doh!! Yessir yessir, topnotch entertainment!
Knock and Pleng: I can’t lie, their relationship seemed forced from the minute she appeared on the screen. Plus, was Knock not just kissing some other chick the night before too?? It wasn’t giving “madly in love”. Could have been the shock of his night with Korn but honestly I totally forgot she was going to be part of the series. Girl was vicious tho, she had claws and was not afraid to dig in. I was counting the seconds until her underhanded behavior started to show. Pleng was basically the spokeswoman for Pretty Privilege 90% of the series. Didn’t help that Knock’s guilt kept him from seeing how she wasn’t right for him. Even after she witnessed Korn’s reaction to her trying to feed Knock shrimp, SHE STILL TRIED AGAIN!! At that point I didn’t understand why Knock even forgave her. F the guilt, girl pays more attention to social media than you my guy, let her go!!!
Bright and Farm: Man, I was really hyped about these two but that excitement turned to despair. Bright basically SA’d Korn and right after had sex with Farm…bruh whut?! Now sweet Farm is head over heels for the town playboy. What really hurt was Farms birthday. What kind of birthday gift is a foursome??! Really Bright, REALLY?! Lil bro just came to terms with his being gay, now you thrust him into polygamy?? Ugh that ish was hard to watch. I was happy that Farm finally wised up and served Bright that plate of Karma nice and hot! Farm is such a cutie! Hope to see him in another BL!
Phu and Kawi: Honestly, I understand homegirls reservations but damn, could you have been a little smarter about it. I love forbidden romance stories, I just wasn’t a fan of theirs. Kawi bothered me more than Phu. Plus her reaction to finding out Korn was gay was trash. Both were extremely hot tho!
Yiwha and Faii: I loved loved LOVED these stunning but oh so messy queens. Yiwha was not letting up hunny! She was determined to let everyone know how fake Pleng was and I was rooting for her the whole way!!! I was counting the seconds to her big reveal. She is the kind of friend we all need. I see she has a previous series and will see if I can watch it now. She deserves the happiest ending! Faii was the cutest tomboy and sidekick.
10/10 would recommend!
