Too superficial
We've got some really good subjects: relationships between men in the very heteronormed world of boxing, debts, work relationships, complex romantic relationships... Unfortunately, all these subjects are tackled with a damaging lightness. There's absolutely zero depth. We have adult stories with immature characters. It's predictable and conventional.
The characters are too much, and to make matters worse I find that Great's acting is not good at all. We don't believe in his character for a moment.
I got fed up and stopped watching.
