This drama is an unexpected, wholesome gem and deserves all the love it receives. I'm not good with words, but this drama left me with so many positive feelings that I felt compelled to try writing a review--I hope that these words, alongside the other great reviews, may help convince someone to give this a try.

Since many have emphasized what a pleasant surprise this drama was, I'd like to reach out to those who are still skeptical. This is for the reviewers who have faced disappointment in even the most popular romcoms, or even their favorite ones, because I am the same. I'm here to tell you that you can let go of your doubts.

I recently began watching dramas again a month ago and kept seeing this title pop up on the front page, but I'd skip on it. The saccharine-sweetness, the cliches, the lackluster humor or the abundance of plot-related letdowns that I had experienced so many times over--no, I had sworn to myself I would not fall for that again. ...And I didn't.

After watching through the first episodes of other dramas and giving my complete attention to them, hoping that one would keep me going, my will started dwindling. I decided to give I'm Not A Robot a shot. Once in a while you'll find a diamond in the rough. This is that diamond.

WHAT TO EXPECT
It's one of the most well-balanced romcoms I've ever watched, which is an odd way to describe one, but you know what I mean--there's a pattern in dramas you find after watching a couple dozen dramas, that leaves you with less hope and lower standards when you're picking out your next watch. Maybe the 15th episode or 16th episode contradicts the past 14 episodes--14 hours!--you've invested into it. Perhaps some of the unaddressed conflicts leaves you feeling irritated. Perhaps your interest begins dwindling after the leads get together, which is something that you can't help of course. Perhaps you've grown to love the secondary characters, and feel a tinge of regret because they don't receive enough screentime. Or perhaps you're tired of the melodrama consuming the entirety of the episodes.

You will not find these issues in I'm Not A Robot. Yes, I was amazed and beyond impressed! How could such a little-known drama, with such a seemingly basic premise, do so much right, when my other beloved dramas haven't been able to do it?

In this drama, you'll find an oddly impressive chemistry between the leads. You'll find a phenomenal delivery of acting and emotions by our leads, supported by a strong secondary cast. You'll grow a fondness for that extended cast of characters. You'll find yourself not feeling concerned about the questionable plot because everything around it works in symbiosis to make you feel comfortable. You won't find a beyond-the-top makeover scene that's supposed to impress you, because this drama is so good that it doesn't rely on it or the other common, tacky romcom plot devices. You won't find an edgy, over-the-top, poignant statement so obscure that everyone will point it out and dissect it. This drama is straight and direct, genuinely warm and cozy, and pulls no punches to play with the logic you've grown used to in dramaland.

Most importantly, you won't feel a tinge of regret or sadness after completing 32/32 episodes--you'll just want to watch it again.
