Amazing, my favorite drama. I don't think I'll be able to even do this drama justice in this review, just go watch the show.
I initially only began watching this because it's one of the only dramas Hulu has. I'm not a fan of dramas with the rich guy and poor girl dynamic because, I typically find that they demean the girl the entire time, but this one was so different. Not because they didn't demean her, but because the story strengthened her.
Is the story dramatic? Yes. Unrealistic? Yes. Does it have ridiculous moments? Absolutely. But, do the actors do so well that you feel as though it's all real? YES.
This drama not only is entertaining to watch but also has life lessons and morals that may impact your real life (as it did mine).

Storyline:
This drama, as most know, was adapted from the Taiwanese version and in all honesty, I'm not trying to hate on the Taiwanese version, but I couldn't barely get through the episodes of it. In my opinion, it lacks the charisma and heart wrenching value that the Korean version has.

The storyline sounds so cliché and terrible, but this show makes it work and uses the tropes in a unique way that makes them no longer tropes. It has it's overdramatic moments, but what drama doesn't? To add to that, even the overdramatic moments are so well executed ( in my opinion) that they makes you emotional.

Acting/Cast/Characters:
Gunnie. Oh Gunnie. He truly makes the series as good as it is. He isn't a super stereotypical lead and I feel as though this is one of the reasons that despite the fact that the story has tropes, it continues to be extremely unique. After you watch this you'll probably be imitating his ridiculous laugh for days. That said, he's a character that'll make you roll laughing but also cry your heart out. His genuine heartbrokenness over some of the serie's events is so realistic that it's even more heart wrenching for the viewer to watch. There is so much I wish I could say about this character, but it'd be a spoiler and so I won't say those things. But, he is just all in all a beautiful character. The one thing I will mention from later in the series (and I won't spoil anything) is the computer videos scene (those who have watched the show know what I'm talking about), I have never ever cried so hard at a show or movie as I did watching that scene. It was so realistic and relatable and heart destroying, especially when he's talking about being in the restaurant and choking on the food (again, sounds weird, but those who've watched know what I'm talking about.) it was so relatable.

As for the female lead. Amazing as well. Being a "post-it" girl myself and seeing the character naturally form into such a strong, independent woman was amazing and gave me faith for myself. Jang Na Ra's acting skills are off the charts, I don't really cry at movies or shows. Ever. But, every time she started sobbing, so did I. And this is partially because Jang Na Ra (and Jang Hyuk as well) didn't do the whole "pretty cry." When she cried it looked so real and even though she ugly cried it was beautiful and brought out so much more emotion than when actors do the pretty, delicate cry. When Gun and Mi Yeong cried, they SOBBED. And so did I.

The "love rivals" in this were good as well. I loved Daniel and Se Ra's side story, it was heart warming and I'm so happy they got a good ending as well. Last but not least, despite the two main leads being AMAZING characters, in my heart two supporting characters may be tied with Gun and Mi Yeong as my favorite characters in this series. Those two characters are Manager Tak and Yong. Them as a duo was HILARIOUS. Yong's funny facial expressions and reactions had me on the floor laughing. Both in seriousness and in comedy view Yong was the character I related most to, where as Tak was amazing again, both comedy wise and in caring so much for Gun and Mi Yeong as well.  Bottom line: even with as good and I find the storyline to be, had they not casted the actors they did I don't think this show would've been even half as good as it is. The actors and the characters they played were absolutely amazing.

Music:
I just have three words "Goodbye My Love." That song was stuck in my head for days after watching the series. As if the sad scenes weren't sad enough, this song would start playing and I'd begin tearing up already. Ailee's voice (which I actually didn't realize it was her singing it til after watching the series) is addicting and pure gold. As for the other tracks, they were fantastic and fit the scenes so well.

All and all, this series is SO worth your time. Don't write it off because of the synopsis.

So, I just finished this and decided to run and write a review!

Let me start by saying I hated the first three episodes and actually wanted to drop this, but kept with it because A. I thought Gary was cute, B. I thought Je Su Ho was a unique and interesting male lead, and C. I liked the contrast of a character who leans too much on logic and a character who leans too much on superstition/luck. In my opinion the character contrast is what makes this drama so good, that said I am very happy I stuck with this and didn't drop it.

The story follows a pretty basic formula, but I definitely think the character are unique, specifically as I stated earlier, Je Su Ho; this makes the basic story work. Not too much can be said about the story without spoilers, so I'll move onto the characters and cast! So, my first drama was She Was Pretty, which Hwang Jung Eum was in and I will say I do like her character better in SWP than I do in Lucky Romance, but in my personal opinion Lucky Romance overall is superior and if you haven't seen Hwang Jung Eum in a drama yet, I'd suggest this being your first drama with her in it. As a character Shim Bo Ni is frustrating as can be and often annoying, but because of her scenes with Su Ho and Bo Ra she grows on you and you'll see that she's an incredibly kindhearted character who wants to do what's best for those around her. My only critiques on her not relating to her personality  are that her outfits made me want to puke and this drama has all consensual kisses (yay!!!) but she still does the dreaded dead fish/"I'm just gonna sit here with a smile on my face and not kiss back" kiss whenever she kisses the male lead.

Moving onto Je Su Ho. I've never seen Ryu Joon Yeol in any drama (for that matter, I haven't seen any actors or actresses that appear in this in another drama besides Hwang Jung Eum and Na Young Hee), but I may have to check his other roles out after this! Besides Jung Sang Hoon and Lee Cho Hee's characters (who I'll talk about my love for later) he was the best part of this drama. Su Ho is the CUTEST male lead I've ever seen besides Louie from Shopping King Louis. He has this adorable teddy bear smile and an adorable secret personality under his cold shell. And boy do I love a respectful, faithful, loving, supporting and non-abusive male lead, Je Su Ho is just that.

As for the supporting cast, starting with Gary (second male lead) and Amy (second female lead), Gary is very cute and attractive, but you also was to smack him in his perfect face sometimes. He isn't a villainous lead at all and does the right thing most of the time, which is very nice and by the end I loved him as a character. As for Amy, I'm seeing that a lot of people hated her, but while she wasn't my favorite character, I liked her a lot towards the end and part of me hoped more would have happened for her and Gary in the romantic sense. Completely unrelated to her personality, but I LOVED her casual outfits towards the end of the drama.  Moving on, Ryang Ha and Dal Nim... Ryang Ha and Dal Nim, my favorites in this show (yes, even above Su Ho and Bo Ni) I can't say too much about them without spoiling, so I won't say much. But, I absolutely loved them. Dal Nim and is so cute and somewhat relatable and while Ryang Ha isn't incredibly attractive (in my opinion) he somehow manages to be somewhat handsome? And his facial expressions are hilarious. He is truly the character I relate to the most, I'm always having to take care of my friends even if I don't do the best job, just like him lol! The last supporting character I'll talk about is Su Ho's mom, I loved Na Young Hee in Fated To Love You (even if she was troublesome at moments.) and I loved her in this as well. A wonderful mother character who really (primarily towards the end of the series) shows what a mom should be like. Which unfortunately, is rare to find in dramas.

Regarding the OST, I'm gonna be honest, I rarely pay attention to the music in dramas (I'm not SUPER big on K-pop besides Akdong Musician and some Big Bang, but mainly just Akdong. So, OSTs don't jump out at me too much) besides a couple songs (for instance I didn't really pay attention to the FTLY soundtrack, but loved Goodbye my Love from it.) the only drama I actually paid attention to more than one or two songs on the soundtrack was Introverted Boss's OST. But, this drama not even one song stuck out for me, besides the one time Su Ho is getting drunk and Re-Bye by AKMU was playing in the background, which obviously wasn't apart of the OST anyway lol.

Overall, it's worth watching in my opinion and I will be watching it again most likely (I already miss Su Ho jumping on the bed when he gets a text, d'aww...), so I suggest you give it a chance and bear with the first few episodes! It's one of those stories that makes you go "Maybe life is worth living." even if getting a love story like this is impossible, it doesn't mean you shouldn't try your best to live a good life and not let fate restrict you. (As the ending note from the team behind this drama says.)

Now if only I could write as much info on books I've read for school as I have on this drama lol.

Another Miss Oh, where do I start?
This was a "last resort" drama for me, I avoided watching it over and over again, would always find another drama to watch instead, etc. boy was that dumb of me.
As one of the top reviews states, this drama isn't your usual romantic comedy, I've watched two dramas by this director and without a doubt, this one blew the other out of the water.

Now I will say it begins slowly and speeds up quickly, there is a lot of push and pull and this drama is not for the judgmental types. The characters are the most real-to-life drama characters I've seen, they handle things realistically, and realistically people make dumb decisions that impact them and others negatively, so you'll see a fair amount of that in this drama, if you're someone who can relate strongly to characters and understand dumb decisions this will be a good drama for you. As someone who frequently tries to understand the psyche and decision-making process of characters, this was a joy to watch actually.

An interesting thing about this series is the premonition aspect, I love how it's not so pushed that the series feels unrealistic or fantasy based like While You Were Sleeping, which is one of my favorite dramas, but that's beside the point. The combination of different genres was fantastic, unlike Introverted Boss's genre transitions (Introverted Boss is by the same writer, mind you.) this felt fluid and natural in terms of the scene changes. The drama can become frustrating because, as a stated before, the characters are realistically ambivalent and often dumb, so you will have to go into this drama with patience and understanding for human faults.

The main couple doesn't have a perfect relationship as some reviewers have stated, but in real life, relationships aren't perfect, that said I would not by a long shot say their relationship is toxic or abusive. They have drastically different personality types, but that makes for amazing character development of their flaws and fears, it was great to see their relationship progress with Do Kyung being so closed off and protected and Hae Young being so open. That said if you read the "Cold Man/Warm Woman" tag you needn't worry, while he is quiet, stubborn, and many times irritating or grumpy, Do Kyung is never one of those male leads that is super possessive or abusive to the female lead. Any character faults or relationship problems are self-aware and out in the open, they aren't viewed as positives or ambiguous as sometimes character flaws are in dramas.

The supporting cast is WONDERFUL, after watching this Ye Ji Won moved from being an actress I liked to my current favorite drama actress, as I'm rewatching this series for the third time, this time with my mom, my mother and I are constantly laughing at Ye Ji Won's character, she's so lovable and crazy while dually being serious and understandable. Despite their flaws, all the supporting characters felt in some way lovable (save Chairman Jang, I hate him) or at least understandable. I do however think I'm the only person besides one of the top reviewers here who really disliked Tae Jin and found him irritating while dually understanding him and pitying him, I noticed while watching the drama many people hated Do Kyung and loved Tae Jin then eventually changed sides and acted as though they were rooting against Tae Jin the entire time. My problem with Tae Jin was that at least popular OHY knew when to call it quits and at least Do Kyung regretted his mistakes and felt remorse, as the other top reviewer states, Tae Jin reacts like a child throughout the entire show and throws temper tantrums, understandable tantrums, but anger-blinded tantrums nonetheless. I may be biased though because while I believe he's a good actor, I've never cared for any of Lee Jae Yoon's roles.

Regarding the OST, there are only three dramas where I like more than two songs off the OST, those dramas are While You Were Sleeping, Goblin, and Another Miss Oh. I'm not into Kpop, but I do love me some Korean ballads and indie music. There are a couple songs that occasionally are played too much, but the good songs make up for it. If It Was You makes me nearly cry every time and this drama introduced me to one of my top 10 favorite artists, The Black Skirts. The first time they played Till The End of Time/Wait More by The Black Skirts I was like "Oh no, I'm gonna get hooked aren't I?" I was right, every time they played this song I broke down crying, Bryan Cho/The Black Skirts is so gifted at melancholy music and Wait More is one of it's kind where OSTs are concerned, very unique and not very drama-like if that makes sense. Another artist I loved on here was Roy Kim, if he's on an OST you know it's a winner.

Overall, I'd say to definitely watch this drama, if I were to suggest three dramas to a person who has never watched one I'd suggest Good Doctor, WYWS, and the first one I'd recommend is this. My main suggestion would be to go into this drama openminded with patience and understanding of human faults and if you can do that I think you'll love it.
