Though not immediately similar, both titles have a lot of gore, have developing friendships (and slight romances), and involve a lot of running around in school to avoid getting caught by monsters. Not to mention both are great watches!
Both "My Uncle is Audrey Hepburn" and "Life As A Girl" portray the hardships of a transgender woman in a more conservative society. In both shows, a newcomer has to live with our female leads because of financial circumstances. Our male leads start out with some prejudice before finally opening up, accepting, and embracing the fact that their aunt/friend is trans.
Both movies are amazing action comedies. The leads love to bicker but have amazing bromance/sismance. Both movies tell an underdog story where cops that people look down on stumble upon a serious case where time is of the essence.
These two shows, while barely similar in topics, give off the same vibe. I swallowed both these shows up in very short amounts of time and both of them moved me so much for reasons I cannot explain. Both shows are stunning and handle heavy topics in such a beautifully portrayed way. D.P. is definitely intended for a more mature audience than Move To Heaven, though, and Move To Heaven is way more heartwarming.
This is a given, but if you were like me and kind of disliked the show, I cannot recommend the movie enough! The movie was ultimately so much better than the drama and the story felt much more complete (in my opinion, at least).
