A Splendidly Enjoyable, Feel-good Drama
An amusing, light, funny and feel-good Kdrama with none of the usual tropes and makjang, no annoying in-laws nor rivalries, put just pure and simple, pleasant cast mostly. Fell in love with YSH’s character here, one of the best young actors I have ever seen, so matured and excellent, showing such a wide range emotions, from serious to comical, he’s simply lovable. The FL is equally at par with YSH, endearing with her quirky, feisty and inventive main character, likewise with her portrayal as a robot! I have never seen her before, but she acts superbly in this one! Support cast of “scientists” are funny, too, as well as the FL’s best friend, so hilarious. Splendidly enjoyable. Was this review helpful to you?
Watched this coz of Lee Min-ho and Son Ye Jin. Period.
Highly enjoyed this drama, though quite 'old', coz it was a new story concept of KDrama for me and the surprising love team of LMH & SYJ. The chemistry is palpable! Lee Min-ho is at his usual "cutesy- fashionably dressed acting", but the hilariously funny one is Son Ye Jin! She made the series! The supporting cast of the two best friends are endearingly funny, too. Loved the cheesy romantic scenes: who doesn't like the classic "Game Over" scene? This drama is simply enjoyable at quarantine times. Was this review helpful to you?
An oldie but a goodie!
Watched this because of Yoon Eun Hye, whom I first saw and really liked earlier in Coffee Prince. It's her usual dorky character, she's simply superb at both comic and emotive scenes, though the clumsiness and stupidity character, you'd feel like bashing her, but it's redeemed by her feistiness and good heart. It's my first time to see Yoo Ji Hoon whom I later found out is the lead in Hyena (he's hot here- and started to follow him), at first hated his aloof and seemingly don't-care-for-the-world attitude, but deep inside, little by little, feeling empathy and eventually falling in love with the female lead. Good ensemble of support cast, too, while enlightening to see a bit of Korean history and culture in this series, as it shows the typical school and family life as well. Was this review helpful to you?
Spirited Entertaining Robot Tale
In this spirited entertaining tale, the production deftly weaves the Kdrama’s narrative between “technology”, family values, greed and a seemingly believable love story between a human and a robot. The start seemed slow with the first episode, but excitement from Episode 2, builds more and more each episode till the end, I almost didn’t want it to end! Cutest, lovable, smiling face robot I have ever seen. The FL is not really likeable, her acting is a bit on the cheeky, irritating side, as she is type-casted, as well as the “anti-hero”, but great support cast, especially the 2nd ML, and the FL’s father and gym family. Pleasurable, over-all.Was this review helpful to you?
My First KDrama Ever. Loved it, and by the whole world.
This was recommended to me by friends, at the start of the CoVid19 self-quarantine (not lockdown yet). After having watched all the top rated U.S., U.K. Oz, Mexican, Spanish and other European series and waiting for the next season/s, I started to watch KDrama, for the first time ever, with this. And oh boy! Got me hooked at the first "annsaeyo"! Thoruoghly enjoyed this series, from storyline, acting, carefully chosen cast ensemble AND the original piano soundtrack!!! Phenomenal. Worldwide. Rewatch value? Beyond 10!Was this review helpful to you?
