When you don’t realize the love that you have in front of you till it’s gone... that’s when it hits you like a brick of how much that love really meant to you.
In love is their room for second chances? Both deal with this theme when one partner cheats on the other. Will each of them give them a second chance?
College Freshman has a crush on a senior boy since HS. Frosh boy goes to the same college as the senior boy. Frosh boy pursues him and eventually wins his heart.
Guy chases after the head hazer of the Engineering school. The head hazer is at first reluctant but the chaser is persistent and eventually wins him over.
Trying to capitalize on the success of a series, these two take a casts from those series, recast then in different roles and created new storylines for them. In both cases unsuccessfully. “Siam 13 hours” was meant to be long advertisement for a mobile phone company so you can use that as an excuse whereas 2Wish was a bit pointless.
Both series are a continuation of one of the couple from a beloved series that focus on their post high school lives.
Both series are a continuation of a beloved series that focus on either the outcome or snippet of a day/week of one of the BL relationships.
The sport doesn’t matter, what these two movies have in common is showing the dedication and passion displayed by athlete, the coming together as a team, and the theme of perseverance not only of self and team but friendships gained and lost over time. Both main characters lost a friend but gained strength in the process.
“If I Love A Boy” is a set of 5 short movies that don’t have any common thread to them that stars the same actors as Thank God It’s Friday. TGIF is a full on multi-part series that builds on several storylines that run through the series. Additionally If I Love a Boy are more short dramas where as TGIF is a rom-com. Unfortunately, If Love A Boy is not a prequel to TGIF, nor do the actors have the same roles between the series and the short movies. This is unfortunate because the If I Love A Boy short stories seem to be more teasers with open endings that seem to suggest a larger series/movie in the future. How true that is, is purely speculation. Watch each for the same actors.
Both series have very similar plot lines between the main characters. Love to hate to inevitable destined love and learning what it means to love. Theory of Love would be PG-13 where as History: Obsessed gets a solid R rating. Both are entertaining with the Theory of Love being more of a RomCom where History:Obssesed is a full on drama.
Duh.... a no-brainer! Not exactly a sequel of this original as 2 Moons 2 essentially recreates the whole original 2 Moons series in the first 4 episodes. So if you want an expanded version of the first 4 episodes with different actors then 2 Moons is a definite MUST WATCh!
Take away the “potential” that the Gifted students have and you have Hormones. Both have a similar storytelling style where a theme/main storyline runs through the majority of the series but a specific story is focused on and about a character which is told during one or two episodes. The underlying challenges that HIgh School students face are well told in both series.
