Story: A lot of people hate the story and its really hard to talk about without spoilers, but it has a message. There are people who are in the same situation and most of the dramas are too unrealistic with the perfect love. This series shifts the genre and causes emotional distress in the viewer themself.

Acting/Cast: The acting of the grandfather very good i love his character and what he brings to the series. Some of the character's lines are said like they're reading it off the script and lack emotion. Sometimes facial expressions are awkward and bring out the wrong emotion in the scene. I can see the actors thinking more about what they're going to do next rather than what the characters will do next. Also on the editing part of things the video cuts could do more work because actors can be seen out of character or with different expressions when an angle switches. Also the use of blue in the series is something that is super amazing and should be noticed more often.

Music: Very good music that fits the mood of the series very well. The music used for transitions is also very good. Some parts of the series had awkward silences due to the music coming in too late.

Re-watch Value: I would re-watch it with a friend and also to understand certain parts better, but the series isn't good enough to re-watch.

Overall The music and parts of the story are what really hold the whole series at an 8. if you want something new and emotionally heart tugging this series is for you.

Just a heads up that by the time you finish reading this review you could have found and started watching the 10 min episode by now!

Story: the story is pretty simple but cute. I also felt that it was a little too dramatic for the situation, but that just shows how in love Chi Cheng is! The special is only ten minutes and what they had in those ten was nothing special. Its also a bit awkward because the special doesn't make sense after the first season. I can tell a lot happened between the first season and the special and Its obvious it takes place after season 2 which isn't out yet. I feel that the special is a bit of a teaser and it leaves me wanting to know what happened in between.

Acting/Cast: The acting was amazing. Wu Suo Wei is so cute and i love how he acts immature. Then there's his counterpart Chi Cheng that is very serious and mature. They are the typical Uke and Seme. I feel like Wu Suo Wei's acting is what held the special together.

Music: This gets a pretty low grade because of the lack of music. Of course the intro is good but there needed to be more in during the special. Even 30 seconds of a good song would have brought this grade up.

Re-watch value: Like i said its only ten minutes so there isn't much to re-watch. Its kind of a one and done. But that doesn't mean its bad to re-watch. Its just like another episode that you watch and wait for the next.

Overall i'd say just watch it. ESPECIALLY if you are a fan of the 8 episode series! Its not a waste of time at all.

Story: The story is a basic GMMTV story. One dude is either gay or confused the other has a girlfriend and is confused. They rarely stray from the genre and make it special. It's pretty entertaining and has a lot of cute parts in it, but it becomes forced and seems like they had to cram things into the episodes.

Acting/Cast: The only time i didn't like the acting was when pop was on screen. His character felt basic and his acting wasn't convincing enough at parts. Also pop's girlfriend isn't the best actor either. I've seen her other works and they're all flat.

Music: The songs are so good for this series. They are catchy and work very well with the mood. It's played at good times as well so no awkward silences or songs being played too early.

Re-watch Value: I would re-watch this only to write a more descriptive review other than that there are better series to watch and the whole series isn't worth the hour long episodes to watch again.

Overall you can watch this series because its not entirely bad, but don't prioritize it unless you have faith in the second season.

Story: the story of sotus is different from the stereotypical story where "one guy has a girlfriend and he is now in love with a guy and cheats on her. but its ok cause he never really loved her in the first place and he is cuter with the guy anyways." No sotus is different it twists the aspects of a normal college BL drama by including the SOTUS system. They directors did a great job at scripting because we all have those lines from the series that we remember and fan girl when he hear them and this series has a good amount of them.

Acting/Cast: Krist and Singto have good chemistry. Of course there is always room for improvement but this was their first big series where they had main roles. With that i think they did amazing and their scenes together came to life. I felt their relationship and what they were going through just based on their actions. Where they lose points is M. I'm sorry newwiee but you have been acting for a while and i have seen your other works. Your play different characters but you include a little too much of your own personality in them. That's not entirely a bad thing and i am not blaming the whole thing on him because there are other characters but i am just picking on him. I just can't give a perfect score to this section if all the acting up to expectation.

Music: I can not begin to tell you how many of my friends have the opening song stuck in their head. Half of them haven't even watched the series and listen to the song. Their soundtrack is very good and well balanced between music genres.

Re-watch value: Yet another series i have watched more than twice.  3 times to be exact and i think i might have to make that a fourth just to get me prepared for Sotus S the series.

The story is very cute and will leave your heart in the hands of Kong and Arthit. Acting is not bad at all. There is just room for improvement. Music will have you downloading the soundtrack or butchering Thai around the house. Meanwhile the series will have you watching it an additional time for each friend you share it with.

I loved this series so much. So many things to talk about i don't even know where to start.
Story: To be honest the story started our amazing and i'm not just saying that because it started with a sex scene. The events that happened allowed me to get a grasp of the characters and their personalities. Towards the middle of the series things got weird. By that i mean the random events that were happening that just made no sense at the time. I figured it was just filler but then towards the end IT ALL came together. I was amazed and i loved it so much. The content could only be described as juicy :^) The only thing i could complain about was the relationship between P'pu and the teacher. While they were cute i felt it was too awkward and a bit forced. Like they were trying to force something to happen. Other than that it was amazing!

Acting/Cast: So let me just start by saying YIHWA!!!!! she was by far my favorite character in the series. Despite how amazingly cute Korn and Knock were i really loved her acting. She played her part of the pretty mean girl that takes care of her friends so well. Then the relationship between Korn and Knock couldn't have been more cuter. They looked so comfortable during the series in fact I was starting to suspect they were more than just friends outside of the series. As much as i love giving positive feedback i must say that there were a multitude of times during the series where Korn made this weird face. At first i figured it was just something they told him to do but that doesn't make sense as the face failed to portray the right emotion at that time. So for that i have to deduct some points. Also I have seen this in many other dramas and it also happens with the "straight guy's" girlfriend. They all talk weird. Their speech is so awkward compared to the other characters it seems forced and unnatural. Lucky for the series i wont deduct points for something i don't fully understand.

Music: ahem *searches YouTube for Together With Me ost* this series has a good mix of music and i have some of the songs dowloaded because i love listening to them. They also did an amazing job at playing the right songs at the right time. It makes a huge different in the emotion of the person watching when they start to play the opening/ending song at a certain point.

Re-watch value: 10 10 10 10 10 10. I have watched this series 4 times and i promise you that i don't mind watching it a 5th. It just gets so good as it progresses. It doesn't drop any key components that keep the audience watching (except maybe towards the middle where it gets confusing like i said). But by then the audience is already caught in the Korn Knock love story that they continue to find all the pieces come together.

Story: The series doesn’t even follow the movie except towards the beginning and end. The middle is just a jumble of things they wanted to happen squeezed in the series. It felt as though they had so much planned but realized they didn’t have the time, money, or episodes left to go through with it so they squeezed it all in there. . The group of extras in the first episode made that scene feel so awkward and empty. I am not a fan of the drama throughout the series it feels so unnecessary. What I did like was the cute awkward stares and stuff like that.

Acting/Cast: You can obviously tell that there was a lack of actors. Whether that be due to funding issues or them not being able to find any more actors (most likely funding). It felt like the whole project was done by high school students that didn’t plan things out well. Almost as though they made it up as they went along. The way the cameras cut from clip to clip is sometimes unprofessional and choppy. there are times when the make-up artists should do more than just face make-up to make things look more realistic In my opinion, the best way to judge someone’s acting is to know their personality in real life and see how different it is from their character. The way the characters developed over time was also very well done. Waii and Apo were so cute together. Also, if they portray the character the way he/she was meant to be and newwie and earth did just that. To the point where I thought they were a couple in real life. They were very comfortable with each other especially during the later episodes. Sadly i have to take of points because of the cast. The acting was fine its just the assorted issues with things that happened in the background that if fixed would have made this series so much better.

Music: I don't have as much so say for music except that i love it! The intro seems very well done! I really like it when the songs of the actors are used in the series. The times when the songs were played were on point which allowed me to feel the emotion of the scene. i think what really held this series together was the music. The songs were very catchy i just could not get enough of them!

Re-watch Value: Really low for me. I tried to re-watch it and not only did i not have the time but i also didn't have the will to re-watch it. A BL cut of this series would be 9/10 amazing considering those scenes and how good they were. But like i said the story wasn't the best ESPECIALLY considering the fact that this was based off the movie. i don't want to say some of the cast/crew ruined the story because that's not entirely true. But they did prevent this series from being as amazing as it could've been.

Overall watch this series if you are out of BL to watch thats rated more than a 7.

Story: The story is super cute and scripted very well. This is the first BL i have seen where the girlfriends are treated well... for the most part. Gu Hai also shows how much he cares for Luo Yin  he will do anything to keep him by his side. Also THE TITLE IS SO CUTE! The title of this series is sort of a ship name. Hai Luo Yin which is Chinese for Heroin an addictive drug. There are many arguments and challenges faced throughout the series that show great character development. They also reference each other and what they are going through using similar situations. This helps them realize that they are not the only person going through the same situation and that the way they are acting is truly unnecessary.  The only thing i can argue with is a lack of explanation during some scenes. I did my best to make sure i didn't miss out on any deleted scenes so i don't think i missed anything. There are just some scenes where we have a conflict and its not exactly settled it just goes to the next scene. The next scene usually makes up for it big time. So much that you almost forget what you felt you missed out on. But i would still like a little more information on certain things that happen.

Acting/Cast: The acting was amazing there is nothing to really complain about here. All the actors did their parts and acted them out super well. They each portrayed their character the way it was intended. I really felt the relationship between Gu Hai and Luo Yin. The way Gu Hai felt when Luo Yin acted a certain way. The times they were there for each other. It really made me feel that they were actually in love. Not just in the series but even outside.I do have to say that i could hear the machine that makes the rain during one of the scenes but not many people would have noticed that. In fact most people probably thought the rain was real. To me that's kind of a big deal but nothing i could take points off for.

Music: The music was to die for. The opening song makes me teary eyed. Not to mention the upbeat music played throughout the series. I might be biased to this but i really love a good violin or piano so when they played those the scenes just became 10 times better. Not to mention the cute songs sung by Bai Luo Yin (well not sung by him just that he sang them during the series) and how they used that song to create an emotional connection between the two main characters.

Re-watch Value: If you are ok with the fact that there is no season 2 then i would definitely recommend watching this again. I try not to because it makes me sad that they left it off where it was expecting to continue with a season 2 but it got shut down by the Chinese government. which is the reason i gave it a lower re-watch value. If you do decide to watch it i recommend watching it around December or late November because you can really feel the cold and the season as the episodes progress. Also if you can watch it with someone else. Maybe even someone special. If you don't plan on stealing the cute lines from this series and using them on your significant other.

TLDR: very good series. Music is cute. Acting is amazing. Re-watch if you like happiness followed by depression due to a shut down season 2.

I just recently watched this series and i have to say from something that has 4 episodes it has so much in it. 100% worth.

Story: the story has me caught on an emotional roller coaster from the first few min. I literally almost cried. That type of influence is pretty powerful especially in the beginning. As the series continues on we learn more about the characters and we see them develop VERY well.  Despite being a series about a second chance at life it feels new and different from the other ones. It has a very good moral lesson and a strong emotional impact.

Acting/Cast: 11/10 Bernard and teddy are so comfortable with each other and i can see in their eyes and the way they look at each other that there are times while they are shooting scenes where they fall for each other. I can't complain about the cast either as they all did very well. They just look so in love and Bernard does such an amazing job at showing how obsessed he is with teddy's character.

Music: The music is another component to the emotional roller coaster. The soundtrack has me in my feelings even in places where i can't relate (like going back in time 9 years). I just love the piano and the timing for the music couldn't be any better.

Re-watch value: if you like crying i'd definitely recommend watching this series again.

Story: The story is super cute and addicting. You learn much about the characters from the first episode and the series never fails to surprise you. The story doesn't conform to the basic " i have a girlfriend but we kissed" story so that's already a plus. There are also other relationships that are being showcased as well as the main couple. All of which are entertaining and cute

Acting/Cast: The only acting i had a problem with was N'yo towards the beginning it was questionable and flat and awkward, but as the series went on his character devolved and had some emotion. The acting of the other characters was really good.

Music: The songs are good enough to make you wanna download them and listen on repeat. The songs fit the mood very well and are used at the right times.

Re-watch Value: Just writing this review makes me want to re-watch it because its super good, super cute, and there is a second season that is waiting to come out.

Story: Really cute. I love the idea of the story. To  disguise a BL by making the lead a female in a males body was genius and i am surprised i haven't seen much of it. Of course i wish it focused more on the BL aspect rather than making this about a girl in a man's body but for a series it was clever. while some things were cheesy i think it was held together by the chemistry the two had.  It was also SUPER funny. i found myself laughing more than fan girling.

Acting/cast: let me just say that a noticed Mai Ying Xiong  was wearing the same underwear throughout the series. Of course only i would notice that... not that it matters or anything it was just a comment. Plus it was the color grey (my favorite) I do have to say that Gu Si Ren did very well at acting differently between his female character and his normal one. Even though sometimes he seemed to act more like a child than a woman i feel like it fit Lan Xi's personality. But besides that the acting wasn't anything special.  i loved the character development. The way Ying Xiong slowly fell in love with Gu Si was cute. There was nothing about the way they portrayed the characters that i would find to be unique or amazing so for that it gets an average grade.

Music: The music i felt was not played at the right time during one or two parts of the series. None of the music in this series stood out to me the first time watching it. Sometimes i even forget there was music. After the second time i did enjoy it. I did recognize that some of the music was from the other HIStory series. It wasn't bad or anything it just wasn't special.

Re-watch value: as much as i hate to give any BL a low grade this one isn't THAT good. Of course its worth watching but its not one of the best things known to the BL universe. I wouldn't re-watch it unless i was looking to see certain parts again. I was also disappointed with certain scenes but spoilers prevent me from saying which one(s) and why.
