Not What I Expected
What on Earth? What is going here? The writing and tone is all over the place. I think its going for makjang but its bad. Not even funny bad. Well there are some comedic parts that were funny but overall its below mediocre. I'm kind of suprised because it initially presented itself like a good crime drama but no God no this is trash. lol
I also understand why people are offended too but even if that wasn't in this drama it would still be a terrible show. There's better shows out there people!

A slice of life drama without the drama
It's as bare bones as it gets with this Slice of Life show. While providing incite into being a 30-something woman, having relatable workplace and human conflicts, there is little to no real plot. No melodramatics. No steamy scenes. It's just a very quick, lighthearted "Day in the life" kind of show. Episodes for 10-13 minutes long on YouTube so you can paint your nails or fold some clothes while watching. You won't miss a thing if you look away a few times either because again, there's no real plot. It still put me in a content mood after I finished so I wouldn't say it was a waste of time. I'm just glad it was honest about what it was trying to portray. Was this review helpful to you?
A Father's Love
Wow. This dived quickly into the main conflict as well as setting up how we should view our main leads-morally gray. I don't feel the need to root for anyone but I'm intrigued by both men,and the eldest brother. It's an emotional and tensive story about a father's love pushed to its limit, one through revenge and the other through risky means of protection. I am aware this is a remake of a remake but I have no intention of watching the originals for comparison.
Great cinematography, dramatic, pounding music and dialogue that doesn't feel too preachy. I like so far.

Underwhelming but by no means an awful show.
I think if you're more into melodrama than crime thrillers you might like it. But it's a soft mix of both. The plot unraveled in a way that wasn't as exciting as I expected. The finale felt kind of goofy in places too. Mainly unrealistic.
Some parts of the show felt like it was running in circles and got draggy at times but there was always at least one great scene in each episode the moved the plot forward and kept me interested. The actors played their roles very well and the cinematography was excellent.
Knowing me,I'll likely forget this show existed but I don't feel it was a complete waste of time.
Also Poor Bom. :(

It's Fine.
It has a lot of the classic kdrama tropes I love but the storytelling is uninspired. Even the first episode didn't pull me in. I find myself only caring about the FL and her love for music. All the other subplots could be interesting but they're done in such a boring,ABC kind of way. I can walk away to make a cup of coffee and come back without missing anything important. I know I'm going to forget about this show in like a month or so.I'm mostly watching it for the music and orchestra scenes. It's nice to watch while waiting for other kdramas to debut.

An Office Drama with a little kick to it.
Whenever I pick up a drama,I rarely look at the genre tag. So I was under the impression this was going to be a low stakes, slice of life type of drama.I was surprised to see the thriller aspects in the first episode. I think this show will be a hit for me as long as there's character development. Han Soo is so incredibly naive I hope someone/something comes along to shake his worldview. It would be a great message. I also love no nonsense, nearly robotic characters like Mr. Shin. It's a fun trope watching serious people let loose a bit. Obviously these two will be each other's balance.
I doubt this will be a "masterpiece" but I was thoroughly entertained with the first two episodes. It's a nice palate cleanser compared to all the darker themed shows I've been watching. I look forward to episode 3/4.
