Lee Min-Ho at his finest, doing what he does best
If you are a Lee Min-Ho fan and you love action, mystery and quality sword fights, this is the drama for you. I can watch this a million times and never get tired. The FL was super annoying until she finally fell in love and softened up.Lee Min-Ho brought me there, I could watch him all day. But I can confirm that he and his masculinity did not disappoint. The other cast also did an impeccable job, especially the King’s sidekick, played by Woo Do-Hwan, who I would argue did the best, most complicated job at playing two COMPLETE opposite versions of himself.

If you don’t want to be dissatisfied, avoid the Netflix version
Rain (Jeong Ji-hoon) brought me here. The FL was annoying as heck but Rain, the SM and SF made me stay. I saw the Netflix 24 episode version and the ending was absolute, complete, diabolical trash. The FL went through so much torcher from the ML and finally, the ending was tossed into the trash bin when the FL showed up to the ML’s company in a new job position and all they gave us was him smiling at her in approval. ONE MINUTE OR LESS OF a failed attempt of a happy ending. No drama infuriated me as much as the ending of this Netflix version. It will forever leave you with a permanent WTF expression every time you think of it.Was this review helpful to you?
It really is okay not to be okay
Satisfying to the very end. The casting, acting, THEEE STORY-TELLING (OMG!!) was phenomenal. And the OST (Original Soundtrack) brought the story together so seamlessly. Mental health is a taboo topic not seen to often in kdramas. It’s Okay Not To Be Okay explored mental health in such a thorough yet elegant manner and I am HERE FOR IT! The animation fillers reminded me of Timothy Burton style: semi-dark, yet whimsical and so beautifully done. It was serious with the perfect amounts of comedic relief. This drama makes you fall in love with not only the main characters, but all of the supporting and even stand-in extra roles. It’s so adorable.
I’ve seen it twice so far and I would love to watch it again with anyone of my friends/family who are interested.
I love, love LOVE this drama. I Highly recommend this work of art!
