It was good.
I've been intrigued with this drama when someone recommended it to a facebook group where I am also a member. Some also says that this drama made them cry. As a person who fancy of drama with a lot of crying scenes, maybe affected of my being a fan of tragic stories, thus, I proceeded to watching this one.Story: The story is no unique at all. In my opinion, it's just some typical story but yet with an interesting plot twists. So, about the plot twists, it's the atmosphere-setting of the story for the last few episodes. I did cry hard in this drama because of I was just moved. Her life was just so unfortunate and chaotic. She doesn't deserve that life at all yet she wasn't given a commendable ending. I mean, I just hate it how it ended with just flashbacks. I was just really disappointed.
Characters:
So, now, let's talk about the characters.
Firstly, the girl antagonist, for me, is very effective in her acting. For the whole episode, I was really so damn pissed at her for being so selfish, plastic, and so pretentious. I was also frustrated to Xia Rui Ning for being a modest and kind type of girl. I wanna watch them fight and I want Xia to avenge herself but argh, I just hate that traits of her. But I must say that they were really effective as an actress.
Secondly, to the main lead, Ye Miao and Xi Rui Ning, their pairing wasn't bad at all. Though I didn't get much of a chemistry between them for reasons but they're cute. With Ye Ling and Xi Rui Ning, I just got the same feeling, but I like Ye Miao for Xi Rui Ning than Ye Ling. I did think Xi Rui would end up with Ye Miao but oh well, a twist happened.
Music: I haven't remember any of its soundtrack maybe because none of those really captured or interest me. But well, they didn't affect my watching to the series, so, fine.

Hmm... I wouldn't say I would find time rewatching this one, but maybe just maybe.
So for this series, overall, pretty good.

While somehow others were a bit disappointed with the ending, I could say, it's the ending that is supposed to be the ending and not something align to what we ideally imagined the series would end.It's an open ending, I must say. Kar isn't ready yet and it wouldn't much of a realistic ending if it wouldn't end this way. If it would end to how viewers expected it to end.
Unti-unti is literally the story of Gaya sa Pelikula. From them meeting together to them slowly parting from each other. But I know someday, they will meet again, and when that happens, they are ready already to showcase to the world the love that the world is deserving to know. For now, they have to grow separately.
Time will tell, their hearts will bound to meet each other again.
And it will become each other's safe haven. Napakagandang drama! Sana'y may natutunan ang lahat.

ONE OF MY FAVE!
First things first, I LOVED THIS DRAMA! I just loved it and I enjoyed it so much!So, firstly, I'm no gamer. But this drama interests me so much that's why I literally binge-watch this for two days just to finish it. Secondly, the cast were lit! Their acting was also pretty nice! Thirdly, the chemistry of the two main lead was perfect, well, for me. They're just so cuteeee and lovely! Fourthly, I loved how this made me feel thrilled, nervous, and proud when the scene was in the game setting that made me cheer for them also! It's inspiring and blissful to see them fight for their dreams to be the world champion! Somehow, this could send motivation that in every dreams that we'll pursue, we'll face so many ups and downs. This drama showed to us that if you want to really achieve your dreams, whatever ups and downs you'll encounter, just keep going until you reach the peak of your success! And lastly, I hope to see the main lead more on a chinese drama with the same theme.
Overall, awesome and well done! Highly recommended!

The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch

It started strong but...
This is going to be just a short review.Story: 6/10
The plot for the season 2 is not giving. Something is not right. First, the development of the story. You know that the first 3 episodes of the series was okay, but the subsequent episodes were meh, at least, for me. They felt draggy. Second, the dynamics of the plot. I appreciate that they tried to add some sub-plot to the whole plot of the S2 but it turned out not so well for it felt like its addition was rather unnecessary. For instance, Dohwi and Hana's so called love line. In addition, they know that the series will only have at most 12 episodes but some episodes weren't maximized because there were a lot of fillers despite the fact that the plot was kind of fast-paced and despite that the story covers only a certain extent of the story. Lastly, character story. What is actually the purpose of the three evil spirits and Jeok Bong? Were they added, so the plot will have, at least, a path to take? The villains weren't given some stories to tell aside from Maju Sok, so at least we would know how they went from good to evil. What are their motivation? Other villains have a crucial part, but they came out as kind of unnecessary with how they were used in the story. Further, the counters sure have changed. Character, they have improved, at least, to me. However, it's sad that there weren't much focus on their abilities. There were no clear development on their abilities. The power they have on the first episode seemed to have remained until the very last episode. Why are other counters train their psychokinesis if they aren't going to really use it? And what's going on with Jeok Bong? Why did he remain clumsy and always so afraid at the end of the season? We didn't even get to see him really fight aside from that specific episode back at his hometown.
Cast/Acting: I love their acting, especially So Mun, Ha Na, that guy that Ms. Chu cared so much, and the villains. Others were okay in their acting, but others weren't just effective in capturing my full attention; hence, they didn't leave a mark to me.
Music: I didn't remember much the song used in the series but that song that Ha Na sang was good. Music scoring was brilliant!
Rewatch Value: The series wasn't good enough to deserve a rewatch.
Overall: Although the story has some shortcomings, it was still good. Plus, they really did a good job on the editing. Also, I love the fighting scenes! They were top notch!

Cliché but well done
Story: The story for this drama is no foreign to viewers, but how it was plotted through the entire series, it was nicely done.Acting: The acting was good. I loved their characters.
Music: The songs were lit! The music scoring was also well done. I loved every song in this series. My fave was the soundtrack Be There. I downloaded it because the melody of the song was just so nice. I just can't get it off my head.
Rewatch value: I'd probably gonna rewatch this some time soon if I want to watch some cutesy typical drama series and I'd prolly choose this one.
Overall, nice and good.

Okay let me just tell you how good this series was. After watching some e-sports themed chinese drama, I've been searching for some related chinese drama with the same theme that could interest me to watching it but I failed to find some not until I was browsing on youtube, I stumbled on this series. And as far I can remember, that was maybe twice or thrice? I kinda don't recall how many times. Then, I thought to myself, why not try to watch some sports themed c-drama? So, first things first, I watched the trailer. Ice hockey and figure skating don't interest me that much but what keeps me proceeding to watching this was how interesting the main lead. And yes! This drama didn't disappoint me at all. This keeps me going until I finished all the episodes. This was so interesting and cute! Their chemistry was so interesting and I loved the progress of their relationship! Of course, this does not focus on romance only because it has elements that everyone could relate to or could inspire or could enlighten us especially about our dreams and how do we make decisions in life that could affect us and the people surround us. Overall, the series was pretty good and I recommend you to watch this one.Was this review helpful to you?
It has many involvements that I could say, was nicely done.
It talks also about family, friendship, persistence and patient to reach your dreams, acceptance, courage to face the truth, losing. This story is maybe too long but I have enjoyed watching this.
The story is nice. I like how the relationship of Tang Yibai and Yun Duo step up little by little. Though, I could say that the pacing is a bit slower for them to become lovers but I understood it since this is not just about love.
The cast and their acting is awesome. I like how they executed each role was given to them. I like Yun Duo's personality being able to understand things positively and standing with her principle on what is right and what is convenient way for a problem to resolve. I like also Yangyang's personality. Qi Ruifeng and Her as just the same who is afraid to confess but I'm glad they were given an ending they both deserve.
The music is also nice but not at all too. There are part of the ost that is okay for me but there are some that ain't fitted with my taste.
Only the ending is quite unsatisfactory but all in all, this drama is a recommended one.

So, why I like this drama is that, I just like how it made me feel all the emotions that is given to this drama.
I laughed, I smiled, I cried, and I feel in love with this drama.
It's a bit disappointing because you have already the idea of how this will going to end.
The casting is good. The acting too is good. The music is good. The story is finely good.
Everything is good and i recommend you to watch this.

I find the girl and the guy cute and them as a couple was cute also.
I also liked the music of it because it gives me a vibes to listen to it often.
The thing I just don't like is the ending. Even I knew already that the girl will die, I'd still hope that there's a twist that will make me surprise. Anyways, I love this drama and I recommend you to watch it.
But if you don't like short dramas then, there's a lot of dramas in the net. Just ask pareng google.

I like the story, I like the plot. I also like the concept.
This a good web drama. Not much more to say because I did enjoy it.
The thing I just don't like about this one is the twist on the ending and for this giving me false hopes that it was all okay. That she will be staying at his side forever. It's kind of disappointing to me. And also, it's a bit short.
For me also, the guy and the girl I didn't find them likable as a couple. It was bearable though.

I just want to commend this for being such a fantastic series. I admit that I wasn't really fond of BL before, and my being a fan of BL just started this quarantine period. The first BL series that I've watched was 2gether. After that, I completely binge the other BL series that the online community suggested or recommended to watch.So, back to the series. I just want to say that this series really captured my heart. From the storyline, actor, the production, I just so love it. Aside from this, the series also remains relevant to what is happening right now and is family oriented. Surely, you'll learn a lot in this series as this series is full of substance. No wonder why many Filipinos—even other nationalities love this series so much.
All in all, I just really want to show my full support in this series. This deserves recognition. Also, I'm so happy because a lot of BL series are airing right now. This is maybe the start of BL domination in the country. And I hope to seeing more substantial and top tier BL series just like Gameboys.
P.S. I just want to commend also the production team. The director and etc. Job well done guys! Solid 'to!

I like the story. I like the casting. I like everything about the story except with the music. Most korean music doesn't really catch my attention, although, some of them did.
This is a fantasy drama. I love how this drama made me feel thrilled and intrigued every episode and then but I just noticed along while watching, the drama is a bit confusing.
There's a lot of plot twist but for me, it's worth it. I love this drama since this was the first drama I've watched.
I'll recommend you to watch this and find it with yourself if you'll gonna like it or not.
