Good until about episode 20
I really enjoyed the first half of this drama. But when the “villain” came in with a motive that was absolutely ridiculous, it dropped off a cliff. Add in the separation if main couple and time jump of SIX years and I went into hate territory. Sad because it was so promising. It probably would have been more successful if pared down to 20 episodes. And please writers: years of separation followed by recommencing relationship almost as if it never occurred is an awful unromantic trope. STOP it!Was this review helpful to you?

My Favorite C Drama romance
By far my favorite C drama romance. I’ve lost count on my rewatches. The actors are great and both so beautiful individually and together. I can rewatch just for the hugs. They are epic. The storyline of each supporting the dreams of the other while having a passionate love is something i cannot get enough of. *minor spoiler* I loved that they gave us so many episodes of their happy life together and the evolution of their love. Just the right balance of comedy, heart wrenching and happiness in my opinion. I could have done with a little less on the science scenes but fast forward button takes care of that. And i enjoyed them more in rewatch actually. Lol. Practically perfect in every way. If there were any deleted scenes i urge them to issue a director’s cut that includes them. Love, love, love this one.Was this review helpful to you?

Crazy ending
I got through this one. There were a lot of enjoyable moments and I liked the actors. However the ending had major problems for me. It was happy. …. Maybe too happy. I can’t explain without major spoilers. But all the forgiveness was nice but difficult to believe even for a romantic comedy. I wish the writers had found a way to redeem the hero without this fantasyland transformation. The music was very nice though. Second male lead was extremely handsome. I hope for main roles for him in future . Overall the first 2/3 was much better than the ending. Was this review helpful to you?

Not a beautiful love
*spoilers* when these romances have one character abandon the other for months/years it isn’t a romance to me. It’s not love. Here FL was kinda immature but ML totally failed to explain anything to her. This is supposed to justify him abandoning her for 3-4YEARS. No. Just no. If you can’t spit out your thoughts verbally you could have written her. If you really love her wouldn’t you keep pursuing the explanation until she listens. He never got a vacation in 4 YEARS where he could come back and freakin explain? Then no groveling at all. ML just acts like an arse and pretends to have a girlfriend. Ugh. I just watched hoping they would NOT reunite. This isn’t love. Sorry. Actors were great but the writers let them downWas this review helpful to you?

ML is hard to watch
This one kept me watching but i just wanted to see if FL would finally slash this dumb, cruel, repulsive mail lead into ribbons.Spoiler: no.
I was drawn in by the FL character and actress. But for me i couldn’t root for them as a couple because ML was do awful. I’ve seen this actor in other roles and he is a good actor. But he is not attractive enough. To carry this off. He needed to be beautiful for me to believe anybody would take this abuse and come out loving him. Ugh

Love it!
Not a new plot but one I really enjoy. The actors and writing really made this one a standout. I especially enjoy the lead actress and actor. I hope to see more from them soon. The actress has a sweet, comedic quality. She manages to look shy to kiss but attracted to the ML at the same time. She has the talent of creating chemistry with her ML. This is a rare talent indeed. The male lead is brooding, which i enjoy, without being robotic. He is able to subtly convey his emotion. Overall extremely enjoyable. Was this review helpful to you?

Loved it- But rewrote the end in my head
I loved everything about this drama. FL great! ML and SML both so handsome and talented. HOWEVER I cannot stress enough how aggravating the last few episodes were for me.*spoiler* i cannot stand this abandonment trope that is too pervasive. It’s not romantic. I loved ML but if he abandoned me like he did FL for such stupid reasons there woulda been no coming back. Especially when the sexy SML was there and in love with her. ML had lots of money. No reason he had to disappear for years and cut her off. No. Just no. STOP it! I was really hoping she’d tell him to take a hike

Watch For Great Lead Actor- nothing else!
Although the FL actress mumbled her way through the part and didn’t seem to find the ML attractive, I managed to enjoy most of the drama just based on how handsome and talented the ML actor was. But i got triggered by the last three episodes.I would give the first 37 episodes 8/10 but the last three a zero. *spoiler* I simply cannot stand any more “romances” where one of the couple abandoned the other for months/ years for “career”. Hear me writers and producers: THIS IS NOT ROMANTIC. Career is an illusion. Somebody can die in an instant, especially here where ML is a SWAT officer. You might not have two years to come back and resume. I just cannot abide this anymore. It absolutely ruins a drama for me.
