SEVENTEEN being SEVENTEEN
If you're just getting into SVT this is the content you should watch to view them in their most natural state. While a show like Going Seventeen has concepts to follow, and characters they play, In the Soop is a show where they leave their celebrity selves behind and get some rest. Seventeen's biggest asset is the number of members they have. This promises different combinations and variety of content from them. They catch up on lost sleep, meditate, go to the sauna, ride bikes and atvs, hike up a mountain, hold tea ceremonies, work out, paint, do archery, ride boats, play paintball, go fishing, cook good food, sing, dance, eat, drink and have deep conversations. There are no adornments like makeup, flashy outfits, perfect lighting and an aesthetically set stage, rather they appear as their bare selves. There are times when their chaotic energy seeps out, and there are also moments of tranquil, but everything is balanced out in moderation and nothing feels overdone or unreal.
Vernon's closing comment struck me the most when he described the show as being "eye of the storm" the calmest spot within the storm, because once their hectic schedules start again they'd return to the reality that is the storm that's circling the "eye." This was their momentary place to rest, where they made precious memories and established the depth of their friendship, but now they will return to their busy lives.
LOVED THIS SEASON! HOPEFULLY WE'LL GET MORE IN THE FUTURE ❤
