Loved it!
As a fan of 'Put Your Head On My Shoulder', I was a bit skeptical when I first saw that these two actors were paired together, since, if you've seen PYHOMS, you would know that they previously played friends who had feelings for each other in the past/had current feelings. I did not like Fu Pei in PYHOMS, but I watched this drama anyway because I loved Fair Xing in PYHOMS. I can gladly say that the two lead actors exceeded my expectations, and I think they have great chemistry. Daddi Tang, who plays the ML, Wen Shaoqing, has greatly improved since PYHOMS, and I think he did great in this drama.
There isn't much for plot in this drama, but I honestly was just looking for something cute to watch. The basic plot is that Cong Rong is an aspiring lawyer who moves back to China from Australia, who after getting an internship, is assigned to work as a mediator (is that the word?) at a hospital, where she meets one of the surgeons, Wen Shaoqing. Unbeknownst to her, Wen Shaoqing is actually her friend from childhood.
The second couple is also cute too, and by the end, I was rooting for them exclusively. Zhou Cheng Cheng, who is Cong Rong's best friend, owns a restaurant, which is next door to a small bookstore owned by Wen Shaoqing's uncle, Wen Rang. I thought their dynamic was absolutely great, although I wish they had gotten together sooner in the drama. In particular, I loved how willing they were to help each other with their individual businesses. I really like enemies -> friends -> lovers plots, and so thats why I think I particularly liked this couple.
I did not pay much attention to the OST, but I don't usually unless I happen to like the artist singing it.
This drama as a whole doesn't have much in terms of rewatch value. I think I'd rewatch just for the cute moments between Wen Shaoqing and Cong Rong, but I'd likely skip stuff unrelated to them.
Overall, I'd give this drama an 8/10, mainly for the somewhat lack of plot. The score is saved, however, by the actors/characters, as well as the really cute and romantic moments between both couples.
