A cute funny drama but also a meh
This drama had so much potential. I liked the first few episodes. The concept of falling in love with his old best friend who is now very "straight" that he has to pretend he's straight as well while his best friend doing the gayest shit ever is so funny!
I liked Chonlatee's character very much. He is soft and cute but could also be fierce and savage if he needs to. The scene of him splashing water to Tonhon's ex gf is a scene that cleanses everyone's soul. He also doesn't easily back down. There's also this scene of him splashing a bucket of water at Tonhon even when Tonhon was being depicted as tired and pitiful after cheating showing how he doesn't get easily swayed and stands by his words that he hates cheating the most.
Just wished they made Tonhon more likeable from the start because when Na had a character development, I began rooting for him than Tonhon. I didn't get as satisfied as I thought I would be when Tonhon and Chonlatee ended up together because I liked Na more. And Tonhon kissing his ex gf just to prove his "masculinity" was a shitty writing for his character. His role was to show everyone that masculinity does not equate with sexual orientation or gender, but at the end, he cheated to boost his ego and disrespected his partner. How he also got back together with Chonlatee don't sit right with me. He explained that he also liked him even when they were still kids, and that doesn't cover up his wrongdoings but Chonlatee forgave him because of that.
The ending was good though. Na having a boyfriend that he met on tiktok, Miriam being a surrogate and a millionaire, Ai and Ni still a strong couple, and Tonhon and Chonlatee expecting a baby satisfied me. The side characters are also loveable! Pang being the bestest friend everyone needs in their life and Chonlatee's mom being the bestest mom ever in the whole bl universe!!
Just a few character writing issues but it was a good series.
