30 Episodes… Just to Break My Heart!?
First, completely unsatisfied with the ending. It felt cut off and I surely thought there’d be another episode. That’s all of my complaints.
It was a heartfelt and heartwarming show. I cried often (a lot at the last few episodes) and I laughed a lot, especially at the relationship between Uncle (father) Kaiyu and Chen (lead actress). The relationships with the Uncle is really what tied this show up well for me. I also want to mention all of the characters hopefully learned the important of decision making and letting others choose the happenings in their lives for themselves. We can support and watch over from afar but controlling someone’s situation when it isn’t necessary— is always unnecessary and may negatively impact all parties.
It was pure, taught a lot of valuable life lessons and gave examples of how to continue on with your life after hardship and loss. (again not in the last two episodes, that was just one gut wrenching incident after the other.)
