light entertainment -scrolled forward from episode 17 onwards.
Martial Art World. The Plot ist not deep, it's focusing on comedy romance. From episode 17 onwards I scrolled forwards because I want to know the "origin" of the female lead.Unfortunately, the ending is open and it's unclear what its origin is. She opens a box, looks inside, smiles, and that's it. At the end, she says a sentence indicating that she is from another world. That's all. If you are watching the series because you really want to know what makes her special and where she comes from, there's no need to finish it, as this is not revealed. There are only hints.
But it was funny, at least in the beginning, and there are some nice fighting scenes.

WORTH WATCHING
SHORT STORYLINE: it's about a couple which married by accident, and agree on a divorce later on. But out of loyalty they help each other, a friendship was build which leads to a love relation and real marriage. Both as POWERCOUPLE overcome a lot of challenges and survive near-death-situation, and sacrifices. The story is with a historical background with several federal states and an empire which falls apart, war, poverty, famine and a lot of suffering of the common people is the result. A lot of people die. The Couple becomes a leading stone to a new empire. The series impresses with its QUALITY of costumes and attractive, well-developed and CUTE(male lead) characters who show progression throughout the story. The male lead's acting is strong, showcasing a convincing range of emotions, while the female lead, though competent, lacks expressiveness and struggles to convey emotional depth, which can make her performance feel flat. The script could have added more pivotal scenes to enrich their relationship, as some key moments are merely mentioned in passing. The CHEMISTRY BETWEE THE LEASD isn't convincing, with the male character showing more believable growth, whereas the female character remains largely static and unemotional. But nonetheless I love the strong character of the female lead character, she becomes a STRONG WOMAN who goes her own path and builds her own life. The pacing is decent, but the second quarter drags due to excessive dialogue that makes the relationship feel overly sweet and lacking tension, diminishing the drama’s potential. Also I miss more funny scenes. However, the series stands out for its original, non-predictable story, quality filming, and WELL-EXECUTED FIGHT SCENES that avoid excessive exaggeration. Despite some issues with the romance, the show remains engaging with its well-crafted characters and unique narrative, making it worth watching.

DISAPPOINTING, but OVERALL DECENT
SHORT PLOT:The female lead character grows up in a remote area in a tribe and being an outcast, because her mother was an outsider. So she doesn't fully belong to them. Her mother died when the parents and her wanted to leave the tribe. Afterwards her father was forced bringing up the girl alone. The girl has a secret, which revealed itself, when she left without permission to fight the inferno. The revelation was, she wasn't (fully) human. Fighting the inferno, so it isn't getting worse, was part of the tribe's duty. She wanted to fulfill their duty. But after the revelation a journey with companions begins - with a lot of twist ant turns.
In my opinion, the STORY starts off well. What impressed me was that it was something NEW and ORIGINAL. The VISUAL EFFECTS were also impressive. Unfortunately in my opinion the male and female lead characters were miscast. In my opinion, neither of them can act very well (BAD ACTING of the leading Characters). There was no emotion, and NO CHEMISTRY between them. The only interesting role was that of the father which ACTED VERY WELL (Yuan Hong as Chi Xin), who kept the entire drama alive. There is WASTED POTENTIAL, and I was expecting more. The worldview was presented in too black-and-white terms, and at times the main characters came across as very hypocritical. I just skimmed through the last quarter, because I got more and more annoyed.
Still 7 points, because I watched it till the end and didn't skipped it, which makes the drama still decent.

Too Shallow
It begins with someone somehow coming from the future into the past. Everything is very unclear, and events just happen without explanation. The story feels flat, lacking depth and continuity. It is illogical, with things occurring without reason, and the character knows things without any explanation. There is no solid plot, and it lacks quality and coherence. Perhaps it would get better if I pushed through, but as it was too boring and not well-made, I stopped after the second episode. Normally, I enjoy time travel stories, but this one felt too unserious and not funny enough. Was this review helpful to you?
