A Simple, Slice of Life, That Truly Captures Life's Hardships
This drama is a true slice of life, meaning it shows life's happy moments, but also the emotional, hard, and lonely moments. There wasn't a single scene I felt bored during. I think this is one of the best dramas that really strips a relationship down to the core, with no extra drama, misunderstandings, random love triangles, and unnecessary storylines. It simply focused on the relationship itself, and how two adults maturely lead a relationship, and how deep the connection of love is. Dilraba and Yang Yang acted perfectly. I was surprised a little at Yang Yang's depth in acting out the true feelings of an aerospace engineer, and how he felt like he was absent for his family, and his troubles with balancing his dream and his want to take care of people in his life. Dilraba did really great as QJJ too, showing how a celebrity can be down to earth and humble.Story
The story of this drama was great, without many misunderstandings and showing us the cutest and fluffiest moments. I got immersed in a lot of these moments, and felt like I was in the scene too. These scenes and the actors definitely gave me tingles in my stomach just watching them. There was no second lead couple, which I thought was good because it got the main couple more exposure and time to develop their storyline in depth. The side stories about each of their careers were also really nicely thought out, and gave a nice insight into their lives and careers, and how they manage their busy lives.
Music
The OST really fit the mood of the drama. The song that played during the most fragile romantic moments (right before they get together) was so healing to listen to in the background. I think the best song in the soundtrack is Time Monologue by Lala Hsu. But I think the whole album is really good.
Overall
Overall definitely a 9.5 drama. The only reason I would dock points is for not showing us if they had a kid or not. Imagine how cute that would be! Rewatch value is really high, and I highly recommend this drama for anyone looking for something that has a lot of focus on the couple, but also has no unnecessary plot arcs and misunderstandings.

Fluffy but Cliche Drama
Personally, this was a good watch. It had all the elements one needs: two couples, cliche scenes, toothpaste kisses (just wait for it), and shattered dreams. The premise was set up perfectly, but the scriptwriter just had to ruin it with cliche plot twists and a very bad character development arc for the Male MC.The couple was going smoothly, and the male mc's condition didn't even add any value to the story. In other dramas, hospital conditions help the leads get closer and prove their love, but this one just had Nuannuan (Female MC) get back with him though she didn't forgive him yet, and immediately go back to hating him. I think that doesn't make sense because why would she pretend to like him in the first place....?

Another amazing drama from Zhao Lusi!!!
As an avid Zhao Lusi fan, I just had to watch this drama when it came out, and as I expected it was amazing. I was hooked since the intro music (it's by Tian Liang called I Hear You - it's the best orchestral, no lyrics, OST I've EVER heard). The story dragged on a bit during the focus on the second lead couple and the time before the relationship, but after they got together the story was so cute and moving that you just had to keep watching. Though the ending disappointed me a bit and was quite abrupt, the drama is overall worth watching (and maybe even a rewatch ;) ). If you love cute, fluffy, dramas to watch calmly, this is the drama for you. Zhao Lusi and Riley Wang's chemistry was off the charts, and the scenes just make you feel so happy inside. I would definitely recommend. Was this review helpful to you?
Fluffy Rom-Com Anyone Would Love
I watched this without many expectations, and I didn't think it would be this addictive and overall good. I found myself immersed, occasionally giggling at some scenes and even kicking my legs in my blanket. That's how cute it was. The only reason I gave story an 8 is because at some times I thought it was a little draggy and slow (imo), but other than that it's great. Fans of Put Your Head on My Shoulder would love this. Cheng Xiao and Xu Kai really showed us Tong Yao and Lu Sicheng's cute moments, inner feelings, and story arc in a way that it is impossible not to love this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
