Weak writing
Well this was my third attempt to watch the show and I could never go past ep 17 the first two times. But this time ,despite reading the reviews I thought let me complete this one just for the heck of it and I had loooots of free time and I was up for some cheesy romance. The first reason I got attracted to this one was becos of the contract live in trope. I love that trope and always fall for it.
This one also has the cliched trope of the ML marrying to avoid his mother's match and the FL in need of money . And so they both agree to the fake marriage. The chemistry between the leads is awesome and that kept me glued in the first 15 episodes.Our ML initially lives in denial that he s in love with FL becos of a past heartbreak. And our FL as usual never admits that she s in love. But despite that , they both had some cute scenes and it was nice to see the young couple.And by ep 16 they both come to an understanding that they are in love. So far so good..everything goes downhill after that . I was so gearing for more cute scenes..expected few misunderstanding but what I didnt know was that from ep 16 onwards there are only misunderstandings and our stubborn and dumb FL uses words like "I am tired," ,"Enough" and runs away from conversation whenever the ML tries to clear stuff. And everything becos his past lover RETURNS!!!..Have you ever seen FL siding with ex-lovers and believing them more than your own lover? Well you can see that here. Our ex-lover Sa manipulates FL,ML 's mother and everybody else and creates a biggest mess for everyone. At one point I wanted to enter myself as one of the characters and literally lock FL and ML in a room and hold them at gun point to actually talk and clear things!!!!!
The most funniest kidnappings you will ever watch happens in the last episodes where the main couple and other side couples all end up in a forest running away from the kidnappers. The kidnappers were the most dumbest ones where they speak pages of dialogues but dont do anything and always let the leads escape. During the whole kidnapping episode , our couples are sharing romantic moments LOL and dicussing lives important things as the kidnappers are pointing gun towards them!!! LOL. You need to see this to understand. (Ep 28 and 29)
Acting wise I felt our ML was really good..but a weak character he was. ALways a momma;s boy. Our FL was so dumb I cant tell you. She acts pitiful and strong at same time. There s one more SML vying for the FL . He was the most robotic I have ever seen. There are too many side couples. I cant even write about them. The FL ;s BFF was little better in terms of characterisation. Basically our FL has four Males vying for her and our ML has three females vying for him!!! The elder chacters like ML's mother...and another woman were a torture. FL's parents were little sensible.
Music was ok.
It is a one time watch with lots of fast fwding.
