What a Surprise! Short and sweet!
I admit when I started watching this I was kind of skeptical because the description was kind of missing something...but I was thoroughly surprised. I really enjoyed this! The music, the acting, the story.... I really liked the originality and the fact that it ended the way it did was also good. They didn't give it that "he's back" happy ending and kind of left it open. And I really did not expect the culprit to be who is was. Also, the number after the ending credits was another great surprise. What a way to introduce the cast. I really hope they do another season because I think there are a few strings that need to be tied up, but all in all, I'm glad I gave this a try.Was this review helpful to you?

I'm not happy...
I am the type of drama watcher that will wait until the entire series is completed and binge the whole series at once. When I watched Penthouse S1, I was so pissed that it ended in a cliffhanger. So I waited for season 3 to completed before I watched this. This drama should have either ended with two seasons or 13 episodes. While I'm happy that the children all turned out OK, I hate that none of the main characters survived for one reason or another. Even Logan! And what the hell kind of ending was that? Why did it turn into "Hotel De Luna"? I apologize if my review offends anyone for whatever reason, but I am really not happy with the way they killed everyone off. I definitely will not be watching this again. Now I have to go find a palette cleanser drama after that ending! Was this review helpful to you?

Surprisingly good, but wished it was longer.
I am really surprised that I liked this as much as I did. I thought the storyline was really good, I actually watched the whole 8 Episodes without skimming (I will skim in a minute if I get bored. I will say that I figured out the connection between Hee-Ra and Jin by about the 2nd episode. I don't know what it was, but I figured that she would be adopted and Hee-Ra would be her birth mom. Weird part that bothered me the most? The food...none of it looked appetizing! I know I am nit-picking but the Steaks looked like they were covered in Ketchup! None of the food looked good!Anyway. I think this also would have benefited with a few more episodes, and I would have liked to see the resolution of the singer (she made the worst wish of all of them, ever the guy who lost fingers).

I have already watched this twice!
It has been a while since I have enjoyed a "k-dramedy" as much as this one. It never stopped keeping me entertained. I have already watched it twice! It's one of those dramas that when you watch it a second/third time, you notice things you may have missed. All the characters were performed very well, from the main character, his best friends, to his Grandparents, the to Uncanny crew. My favorite episodes were 3/4, those are the ones I have re-watched repeatedly. The last episode was a tearjerker but in a good way. I cannot wait for part 2!Was this review helpful to you?

Finally finished this...love the SL...hated the ending.
I finally finished this. I love Lee Dong Wook and thought his acting was fine. buy his drama had serious "Second Lead Syndrome". The Brother, Yoo Ri and the Vet's stories was much better than the leads. I thought the FL sucked. she was nosey, whiney and the way they changed her character half was just dumb. I don't think they should have brought the parents back either (the best I I've seen this situation handled was "The Uncanny Counter, EP 16"...I thought the parents handling was perfect in this). The ending disappointed me as well. The reason for the younger brother to sacrifice himself for his older bother was crap (wait...was there a real reason given?) I was seriously waiting for the younger brother to come back. I knew he was going to die as soon as they aired dinner scene at the end. I mean, why did the release they brother/Yoo Ri's Story "Tale of the Nine Tailed: An Unfinished Story"? Why make me miss him anymore? Enough of the sacrificing in K-Drama fantasies! For once let the person to be sacrificed say " screw this, they can find their own way back! Was this review helpful to you?
Now I know what "Slice of Life" means....Loved it!
This was one of the best Dramas I have watched in a long time. The stories, the way it was formatted, the music, everything. I was not sure what to expect when I started it, but I wound up binge watching the whole thing in one day! I never do that! I did a lot of laughing and crying (the end of episodes 8 and 15 did me in!) If anyone asks me to recommend a drama, this would be it. I hope there is a season 2. I don't think anything was left open, I would just like to see where everything went in the future for these characters. But I will definitely be rewatching this in the future! Was this review helpful to you?

I hate cliffhangers. I usually wait until entire stories are finished before I start to watch. What a surpirse it was for me that this ended the way it did. If I would have known there was a cliffhanger I would not have wasted my time watching this. Now I am annoyed. The way they ended this story was not only confusing, but really unsatisfying. How did the main characters lives change so much? I felt like a big chunk was missing in the end. Is has been over a year and no mention of a second season. Was this review helpful to you?
