Enjoyable but definitely questionable
There’s about a million things wrong with this show lol like a massive amount of toxicity in like every single relationship but it does meet it’s purpose as a show, it’s interesting and it catches your attention.Kinn and Porsche are cute, it’s almost disgusting actually lmao. I hope Chay and Kim will make peace too. Pete though… he’s probably my favorite character and I cannot believe they did that to him. I was kinda crushed when Vegas got shot just because Pete suffered but let's be real it'd been best for him if Vegas had died like ??? Why would you give someone so sweet such a tortuous (literally) relationship and such a nasty person for a partner? I do not understand. How can you ever act as if your partner hadn’t literally kidnapped and tortured you for days in the worst possible ways? It’s seriously disgusting. And no kind of trauma justifies that one, I do not care. I hope Pete gets help with his Stockholm syndrome fr. And Kinn and Porsche and everyone else but Tankhun just kinda forgetting about him… Yeah no.
Plot-wise, it’s painfully obvious that there’s something wrong with Porche’s and Chay’s mom and there’s definitely even something else that Mr. Kohrn is hiding (what’s new), so I admit that I’m curious, so I will probably end up watching season 2. But seriously, choose another target cause there’s so much emotional damage and trauma that a person can process and I feel like porsche is at his very limit give him a break?
Last thing I wanna say is that the entire cast is insanely gorgeous. They seem super nice too I may or may not have ended up following some of them on Instagram?

Very much worth watching
I watched this drama in January 2022 and I liked it A LOT. It was fun, exciting and thrilling at the same time; and although there is definitely some romance involved in the story, I enjoyed the fact that it is not a love centered one. Since romance is the genre I tend to watch the most when it comes to kdramas this was kind of refreshing. It was really fun and sweet to watch a community of people living together and learning to love and protect each other while maintaining that kind of comedic essence in their relationships.
I still listen to the Italian version of Adrenaline (by Aalia) from this drama’s OST, it’s an incredibly good song omg.

Never fails to bring a smile to my face
I just started using this website and I can’t believe that you can actually rate and track your watching history of SKZ Code in here, it’s kind of funny.Anyways, needless to say (since I rated every aspect of this ‘show’ a full 10) I absolutely LOVE SKZ Code. It’s just SO much fun to watch the members playing around and having fun themselves, it’s just so uplifting and so great honestly. I am a Stay, but I feel like SKZ Code is something you can enjoy watching even if you don’t really know the members that well. Definitely something to watch (or rewatch) when you’re feeling down or stressed in order to have a laugh and feel better. I’m pretty sure I have rewatched pretty much every single episode; some of them more than once.
Overall super fun show to watch at any time!

Nice and entertaining
Start-up was on my list of kdramas from Netflix to watch and I finally came around to it (actually on April 2022). It was pretty nice.I have to admit, for some reason I was convinced that Dalmi would actually end up with Mr. Han from the very beginning, so I was kinda surprised (eventually maybe even a bit disappointed) that she didn't lol.
I ended up loving the barely there romance between secondary characters, as usual. Chulsan and Saha were very cute. Also! Chulsan, Yongsan and Saha were ROBBED at the end like why the hell were they not included in the final scene??? A crime tbh, they were all relevant characters in my opinion.
Anyways, i liked the drama, it was nice.

Came expecting nothing and left surprised to have found a drama I enjoyed
I originally decided to watch this drama mainly because Seungmin (from Stray Kids) is part of the OST, but I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would .I must say that i enjoyed the ‘angst’ and everything leading up to the climax of the show more than I did the ending. I still loved the ending though, it was really cute.
The entire backstory of Dusik was also a bit meh in the sense that I would've preferred it to just be a sweet love story with some comedy and angst, but it was still good. Being someone who's lived in a village their entire life, it was heartwarming to see the dynamics between all of the characters in this drama (even if they did feel a bit annoying sometimes lol). I also enjoyed the fact that there wasn't a huge dramatic conflict/misunderstanding between the main characters like there tends to be in most romantic dramas.
Overall a really enjoyable show to watch.

Exceeded expectations
I came across this drama while browsing netflix on the look for something interesting to watch. I knew I was going to love it from the very moment that I saw the trailer and decided that it would be the next thing I'd be watching. To be honest, it was not exactly what I was expecting when I started it, but I still loved it. I thought I was getting into some kind of psychological thriller involving ghosts, but was not disappointed to discover that I was wrong.
From the plot to the characters and going through everything else, everything about this drama is to be loved. I can't believe I'm gonna have to wait until may 2023 for the next season ㅠㅠ

Quite disappointing
This show was just kind of underwhelming, I expected it to be more exciting than it ended up being. I still enjoyed it I guess, but I feel like it could just have been so much better. The acting was good but not the best, and while the essential idea for the plot is pretty good I feel like it could have been developed in a more interesting way. Even though I did finish it, it just kind of failed to really catch and keep my full attention. I finished it just to finish it, not because I was intrigued or excited to see what would happen next. The ending of the season looked quite promising but since they don't even know if season 2 will actually be happening at all I don’t really know what to think…

Sometimes life gets in the way, and there's nothing you can do but keep living.
Oh i loved this drama SO much, it has definitely become my favorite show EVER. There’s so much to say I think I would have been able to analyze every single episode individually and still write several paragraphs for each one. This drama is a celebration of friendship, of love, of passion, of trying your best… and its SO well done I don't think I have a single bad thing to say about it. I was completely hooked from the very first episode and it's completely amazing from beginning to end. If I could only ever recommend one show to everyone I’m pretty sure this one would take the win I mean everyone NEEDS to watch it idcc. And I have to admit, when I realized it was set (for the most part) in the 90s I thought I wasn’t gonna be a fan for some stupid reason but the cinematography HELLO???? Oh my god it was so good. AND THE MUSIC… Oh the music. Such a great OST. Same goes for the fact that it’s so centered around fencing, which I knew nothing about nor was interested in learning about; I thought that would make it harder for me to get into the show, but I was proved wrong really fast.
This drama also has what I think is the best written romance I personally have ever seen in a drama (probably in any show I’ve ever watched) like oh my god Heedo and Yijin… my heart hurts for them. They loved each other SO MUCH and they never stopped loving each other but life got in their way and tbh I will never forgive life for that. Their story i just so… I don’t even have the words to explain man, you just have to watch it idk. The way they were always there for each other even if they weren’t physically together for literal months living on voicemails like… god. And the way that just hearing each other’s voices and words of encouragement helped them to keep fighting and never give up was so endearing. I feel like I could write and entire book on this two. BUT ALSO Yurim’s and Jiwoong’s relationship was so freaking sweet I’m so happy that Jiwoong didn’t let Yurim just give up on them and that I got to see them together until the very end, I loved them so so so much. AND THE WAY HE PROPOSED it was so cute.
Heedo’s character… woah. Literally woah. She’s so strong and amazing and she was clueless and childish and just a fool a lot of the time too but that only made her all the more endearing and admirable idk. Her decision and perseverance woah… She tried so hard and she went after her dreams no matter what and she made it and idec that she’s fictional you can’t help but be proud of her.
Literally every character in this drama is freaking amazing. I am not gonna stop and write about each one cause this is getting long enough already but i just LOVED them so much. Them as a friend group just <333 absolutely loved the found family trope in there. There were so many iconic moments like the beach outfits??? I was obsessed they looked SO cool and the amount of fun they had there… woah. AND THE TUNNEL oh my god the edits about the tunnel that I’ve seen on tiktok I want to bawl my eyes out. I am going to miss them so much, seriously.
I don’t know, everything about this drama was just beyond perfect, I smiled like a fool during many of the episodes, every episode I watched felt like the best one so far (now that I’ve really finished the show though, I think the beach one has to be my absolute favorite ep) and even tough there were sad moments it just made me so happy to see everyone overcome difficulties and do their best at life. And it’s the way that I wanted to just go ahead and start rewatching it when I had just finished it… I am going to miss it so much. However, I don’t think a season 2 would do it for me, I don’t know, I get why some people would be disappointed, but I think the ending was perfect as it was.
Overall a 10/10, I highly recommend watching.

Did I just not get this show at all?
This might be a kind of critical and morals centered review, but there’s just way too many things wrong with this drama (at least in my opinion).Knew it was supposed to be violent; didn't imagine how unnecessarily violent it was actually going to be. I lost count of how many people (/almost) died. Ambiguous ending which I don't particularly enjoy. Normalized underage prostitution??? This just immediately ruined it for me, although I decided to finish it to see how the topic was handled. Ended up extremely disappointed.
I did considered giving it a higher rate because the overall filming and editing styles are really interesting/‘cool’, but there’s just too much wrong with the plot, so I couldn’t bring myself up to do it (I did actually plan on rating it a 0, but you’re not allowed to lol).
Still, I have come across a tiktok about this drama and everyone was praising it in the comments, so I do wonder whether I did not get it or whether people just do not gaf about everything wrong with it.
