Just bland
Honestly I much preferred the side characters’ stories than EarthMix. that sad though bc I love EarthMix as a couple. Jim and Wen’s relationship just seemed so lackluster. I didn’t get a sense of Jim being torn. He just seemed flat out disinterested. I only pressed on for Li Ming and Heart. I felt more feeling between Wen and Alan that Wen and Jim. it’s one of those situations where I can’t put my finger on what went wrong. it’s just…missing something. Not to mention, the previews were entirely misleadingWas this review helpful to you?
I think I'm watching a different show...
I almost feel like the reviewers and I are watching an entirely different show. I find this series to be cringey and obnoxious. How am I supposed to root for the lead characters when one of them is so obnoxious and over the top? I can't tell if it's obnoxious because of the acting or if that is how they were directed to behave. I am sure it is honestly a combination of both. I don't find it silly or cute or charming. If I met these characters in real life I would instantly dislike them.I also find that there are too many character couples to keep track of for so few episodes. I feel like they were trying to cram in too many side-relationships with not enough time. I really wish I liked this series, especially since others seem to like it.

Honestly Annoying Side Stories
I really enjoyed the main characters, but I feel like so much could have been cut out without damaging the main plot. Honestly it probably would have helped my scoring. I find it disturbing this romanticism around rapey situations even though one of the shows characters was traumatized by sexual assault. Plus I found the Tum X Tar relationship beyond annoying. I feel like I was much harsher on my scoring than usual because I dedicated so much time to watching only for the ending to feel like a letdown. Was this review helpful to you?
