Choco Bank is a cute web drama that you can watch in about the same amount of time that it would take to watch a full length movie. After powering through two or three full dramas, it was refreshing to watch something so short. However, even though it was good, there were a few things that I didn't like about this drama. A few of them are because the drama is so short it wouldn't have had time to do much character development or focus on side character stories, so I can let that pass. The story, acting/casting, music, and re-watch value all bring different elements to the drama that helped me decide on the overall rating. The story was pretty good. Its a simple boy meets girl, they pretend not to like each other, but secretly love each other and then things happen. It is a sweet story where a girl has a hardships, but through hard work she is able to make her dreams come true, but not without a little help from some of the other characters. On the other side, the male lead is trying to realize his mother's dreams, but the job market isn't kind to him and he ends up getting a job in an unexpected place, helping out the female lead. It was cute, but not very original. Acting/Casting was pretty good. There isn't much to talk about. I was surprised by Kai's acting, but then again it didn't seem like his character had to develop a lot and it wasn't a very complicated character. Same goes for Eunbin and the rest of the cast really. Which again, the characters can be forgiven a bit because it was such a short drama, there isn't enough time to develop them. The music was pretty unforgettable, but it wasn't bad. I wouldn't take my time to go and download it though. The re-watch value is so-so. Because it is more of movie length, it would be a quick second watch. The story is cute and simple. It would be something nice to watch with friends if we didn't want to commit to something for a long period of time. Overall I give this drama a 7. If it were a full length drama, but with the exact same elements, I would have probably given it a lower score. For what it is though, it's not bad and I would recommend watching it if you don't have a lot of time and just want something short and sweet.
