Kind of reminds me of stale bread tbh
I don't think this is the worst drama I've ever seen nor do I think it's the cast's fault that it was as bad as it was. Everything is just dry and bland. It had potential... until it didn't. It was boring, the characters all sucked (I'm not saying that the characters need to all be good people, but at least give the character's enough depth to bring out SOME emotion). The actors did what they could with what they were given but it was just poorly written and dry. The only upside to the uncut version is the spicier scenes... but they weren't all that exciting either (the actors, once again, were fine but the writing was so lazy there was literally no possible way to fake chemistry). If you're on the lookout to pass the time and you're so bored you'd either be watching this or chewing your arm off... then this is for you but if you're looking for a good plot with good characters this isn't it.Was this review helpful to you?
INSANLEY WEIRD BUT IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY
I don't even know how to explain this show. It's insane, it's wild, it's completely chaotic. So much happened and honestly, as crazy as it was, I'd watch it over and over again. The acting was a litttttttle questionable here and there and there were definitely some moments that had me questioning mine and the screenwriter's sanity. Overall, though, I think the over-arching storyline is pretty relatable (at least for me) & I think the male leads had really great chemistry. No matter how unnatural some of the scenes seemed, the main couple's relationship was awesome to watch and I felt like the actors put in their best to make it seem like their relationship was believable. Was it weird? Yes. Was it kind of silly? Yes. Did it make me laugh when it probably wasn't supposed to? Probably, yes. But, I think if you can look past some of its initial flaws and realize that 1. it's hilarious and 2. this was shot in the middle of a pandemic while trying to keep only a certain number of people close together... you'll be okay. Was this review helpful to you?
A Drama Everyone Should Watch, Regardless of if You're A BL Fan or Not
This drama is more than just a BL and it's easily one of my favorite dramas of all time. It really shows how someone who hasn't come out yet struggles to come to terms with who they are as a person and how damaging it can be when people attempt to force them to come out before they're ready. This drama is hard hitting, real, and I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone who wants something heavy but completely realistic. This is more than just a BL series and it really goes into the struggle of people within the LGBTQIA+ community. As someone who's within the community myself, I really appreciated the representation. I tend to watch BL series more for the acting and chemistry and I fully go into almost every BL series knowing I won't see anything realistic, but this is totally different. As I've said, I appreciate the representation and as long as you go in knowing you won't get some cringy, unrealistic drama, you'll enjoy it!Was this review helpful to you?
2 Moons 2 Is Actually Really Good
I know that a lot of people were hesitant about watching 2 Moons 2, especially if it seemed like a similar storyline as 2 Moons but with a different cast. However, I actually prefer 2 Moons 2 over 2 Moons. The main cast here has way better chemistry, nothing feels overly awkward, and despite this being fast-paced in comparison to 2 Moons, everything felt just right in terms of timing. There was actually conflict and while I do enjoy fluff, if there's no angst, none of the characters can grow or learn. Not to mention there's actually growth between the other side couples, which is a long time coming. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it!Was this review helpful to you?
I liked the chemistry between the main couple but I feel like I need more.
THE SHOW IN ALL:The show itself was pretty good. I liked the main couple well enough too. At the same time, though, while the chemistry between the actors was good... the relationship between the main couple felt a little rushed and it kind of left me hanging. I hope they give me more because I feel like I want be satisfied until I get what I feel like is a real conclusion. Even though this is basically a movie cut into smaller segments and it's (technically) pretty long for a movie... it felt like they just shoved everything together. I feel like with In Ha especially... I needed more than I actually got.
CHARACTERS:
I liked all the main characters. No one rubbed me the wrong way (villains included -- as funny as that may sound) and I think there was pretty strong chemistry. I wish I'd gotten more of a back story, though, especially for In Ha. He would've been an even better character if they hadn't crammed his entire backstory into only a few minutes worth of watching. This show honestly would've been great as a full-on drama instead of a movie because all the characters had so much going for them. While I'm sad at all the wasted potential, I think the actors were great and they really did a good job conveying the character's emotions — especially during scenes where there were conflict.
