Fun and interesting
For transparency’s sake: I like Hou Ming Hao from when he was in When We Were Young. He and that FL broke my heart and I thank them for it.So, Hou Ming Hao is why I started watching this drama. I stayed to the end for the storyline, FL and ML’s chemistry, and curiosity (as well as Ming Hao).
Story: it started off slow but I like the FL from the get-go. She’s shameless, bossy, and herself. I liked that a lot and it was refreshing. The plot has a lot of mini climax’s as the story becomes more complicated and we learn more about the different characters.
The drama between the ML and the FL was also interesting. Much more convincing drama then that of some other shows.
I also like how the romantic relationship developed, through ups and downs, take its time and not just magically working out. The overall plot is interesting and a bit mysterious.
Acting: I am biased about Hou Ming Hao, because of his face so I won’t really write about him. He’s good but I don’t really know if his acting was fantastic or anything great. The FL was pretty good. It just sememed like the two worked well together so neither of their acting was bad. Some of the supporting characters were fantastic, while other fell a bit short.
Rewatch: I would rewatch this. As I am writing this I am thing about the plot and trying to remember things. Because of this, The complicated plot and mysteries, I think there is a lot of rewatch value for the drama.

WHERE'S THE ENDING?!
AND I REPEAT, WHERE IS THE ENDING!!!!??? I don't usually include spoilers in any of my reviews but this show really left us all hanging. I went through that many episodes to be left with a cliff hanger?! I will say the show was pretty good, a little ~extra~ and dramatic. I just expected to have the loose ends tied up instead of being left with a bad situation between the two main characters. I liked the drama until I got closer and closer to the end and some things still weren't adding up. So I felt irritated with the ending overall, as I think most people did.Was this review helpful to you?
Not bad but all over the place
This show ended up feeling like it was too long..? The ending just started getting messy and I didn't like all of the guilt tripping by the supporting female (you'll see if you watch). Overall, its am immature drama but it has some cute points. I think the main reason I didn't like this show toooooo much is because it felt like it had been done before. I usually like Chinese university dramas but... I will say I liked the main female lead and her grandpa's relationship. I found them funny and I liked their banter. There's definitely positive points to this series. Give it a shot and see if it's good for you!Was this review helpful to you?
Not for the light hearted, but a very good movie
There are so many controversial topics covered in this one movie. Here's a few trigger warning just so you have an idea of what you're getting into: dubious sexual consent, animal abuse/death (not depicted), mental illness, bullying, eating disorders.Okay with that out of the way, this movie is a commentary on the lives of a group of Japanese teenagers in an industrial town. As you can see from the warnings, it is a heavy movie and is realistic. Each character is dealing with their own issues and they're not exactly handling them well.. it is a good movie, and I enjoyed watching it even though there are uncomfortable parts, especially the sexual content for me.
It has a lot to say though, if you get what I mean. There's a lot to unpack and somethings get missed on a first glance.

? WOW ?
Quick trigger warning for physical abuse. This show is pretty special as far as coming of age shows go. I really enjoyed watching this and appreciate the storyline. The show made me feel for the three main characters and it made my heart go through loops and feel happy and sad!
I love coming of age/university/young adult life shows. The family dynamics were really a special part of the show. They story really shows what a “found family” is and that was really touching. There we’re definitely frustrating moments, and there are events that feature physical abuse from a parent. But it’s wasn’t too much and it fit for the story. I think that there were a lot of highs and lows, there were melancholy moments and a lot of happiness too.
I hope you give the show a chance because it was worth it!

So much more than you'd expect!
*I advise some tissues be present when watching this*^that's all I'm gonna say
This movie seems like a funny movie at face value but its more than that! Granted is is super funny too. The movie will take you on a ride as you get to know the characters and then get to know them better ahah. The trailer makes it seem like a straight forward comedy but it's a lot more then that and has some actual substance to it! I would definitely recommend watching. I don't want to put too much into the review, but please give it a chance. Oh, and I will say that this is one of the first things I saw Do Kyungsoo act in, and he is much better than a lot of idols, but I think people have caught onto that since Swing Kids and some of his other acting things.

Just a little TW:
To get it out of the way: Trigger warning for domestic violence/ partner on partner violence.^Just wanted to put this first.
The show is good! Don’t get me wrong, I just don’t like domestic violence and it put me off just a bit. Overall, good story, hot chemistry, and an I retreating watch. I think that fact that this features internalized homophobia was an interesting choice. It’s honesty the most intense version of IH that I’ve seen in a show. People might try to not like someone but this really showcased how hard someone’s own feels can be to deal with. So I would recommend watching this but just know that is is not all rainbows and butterflies! I enjoyed the show and the character development a lot.

Ripped my heart out and I still say thank you
I haven’t written a review in a while, so bear with me. I won’t put any big spoilers. I just put the warning In case anyone wants to go in completely blind.Triggers - I include this because I am triggered by SA and I don’t know this had that.
Attempted Rape, a LOT of violence, drugs
The story is good. I like police and crime dramas. It starts as most revenge stories do, the death of a close family member or friend (family in this case). But it got more into the organized crime side of it, kind of like lawless lawyer but also very different at the same time.
This is not a happy drama and there is not perfect ending in this kind of plot (when executed correctly…).
The biggest thing for me was that this really did make me feel things, all kinds of emotions and I was also conflicted at points. I don’t usually cry at dramas, I can think of maybe 4 that have accomplished that for me.
The ending is complex but the chain of events was necessary to push Jiwoo to her limit. I finished this drama feeling heavy and teary. But still, it was good and I am gladded to have watched. Now I need to watch something super sweet so I’ll fall asleep peacefully.
Thank you Han So Hee and Ahn Bo Young. 3

Good story, bad pacing
Story: I like these kinds of plots. Go Ahead is the drama I’ve rewatched the most and I like these complicated family/, best friend/sibling-like, budding romance, slice-of-life stories. They more realistic and relatable then a story about a poor FL getting into a relationship with a CEO - somehow.Overall, the story is very good to me. I like the inclusion of the ML’s disability, but as a someone who doesn’t have that personally, I wonder how accurate it really is. I also liked the turbulence of the relationship/FRIENDSHIP. It was innocent and enjoyable.
HOWEVER, there were major issues with the stories pacing. It felt like it dragged on a lot and I personally skipped around quite a bit. I think the drama was a lot longer then it needed to be.
Acting: the acting was pretty good. I think the FL did a really good job acting the age of a year one high school student and so on. The ML was also good, but the girl store out more. I appreciate when someone doesn’t cry “pretty” but more realistically and raw.
The second ML was very funny and felt like the only comedic relief besides the FL. I appreciated how he played his role, but the plot points with him felt a little under developed
Rewatch: Honeslty, I would watch it again. I have a shorter attention span to begin with, and this drama wasn’t the best at holding my attention. The story it’s self was good and a bit unique. It just for me personally, I wouldn’t watch it again.
I hope people give it a chance, because the story alone deserves a much higher score than 6.5, but overall… not the best for me.

One of my favorite dramas and not just because of Lee Jong-seok
This is probably one of my favorite dramas of all-time.Okay, so I am a person who will stop wactching a drama even if I really like the actors. So keep that in mind.
The story line of this drama was really beautiful and I like drama's that take place in a legal/police industry so this was right up my ally with that. The plot that followed the main leads was interesting because there was an overall plot that didn't just focus on the main relationship. That is something that keeps a drama more interesting than just seeing a couple get together.
I will say that the dreams become a less important role throughout the drama which was okay but I felt like that was something very stressed in the synopses I read before watching it. Granted, it does have a lot to do with the story line, but the dreams themselves become less prominent.
I really liked Lee Jong-seok's character's development throughout the storyline especially in the end. This dram was able to pull emotions out of me in the end (if you've watched the show you probably know what scene I am talking about. The main lead had finally been able to connect parts of the story and discovered things about other characters but then is got so sad (sorry fro being vague, trying to not put a spoiler)
The ending is pretty happy if not a little too good but it made me happy none-the-less hehe.
I hope that you give it a chance!

A bit fast paced but their fitting a decade into 1 and a half + hours
I guess I have a thing for watching stuff that makes me feeling like my heart got stepped on. And I guess it was an okay movie if it got a reaction out of me. It's not perfect by far, but it's still good. Also, get ready for some push-pull relationship issues. I also usually hate movies with endings like this has but it felt right and made sense in the context of the story and it also went with the over all mood of the rest of the movie. I was impressed for the most part because I didn't have high expectations to begin with. This story was a lot more then what I imagined and is felt very normal. like some problems people would encounter. Admittedly this movie has a bit of a special place in my heart because it was one of the first Chinese movies I watched and because it made me emotional and I have rewatched it probably two more times. Happy (?) watching :)Was this review helpful to you?
The music (Maria) is the best part, but it is also a good movie.
Maybe, kind of some spoiler-ish things but I swear I didn't tell you the whole plot! This movie is a "finding yourself" kind of movie. The weight loss and plastic surgery is similar to what you'd see in My ID is Gangnam Beauty (내 아이디는 강남 미인, sorry I had to look up the English title, so I think that is right).
The main character has terrible confidence, which isn't helped by the industry she is working in or that fact that she is a ghost singer to a skinny, societal-beauty-standard achieving singer. It's always sad to see that kind of situation, someone thinking there is something wrong with them, so they physically change it, but there are sooooo many plastic surgery clinics and ads everywhere in Seoul that this is pretty applicable to real life. In that aspect I like that it is relatable.
The movie definitely has funny parts! I like how the lead actress portrayed her character and I like the lesson of the movie. The main song, Maria, is the highlight for me (because I love high notes like in western music) and it's just a kicka** moment :)

It’s a rollercoaster ride.
This story has a very detailed plot. There are a lot of people to remember the names of and it can be a little hard to follow at times. However, it was very interesting and worth watching because of the plot. This isn’t some thing you can just half ass watch and not get confused. I appreciate the plot and the Details throughout the storyline. Events in the plot really did piss me off and it is violent but nothing like the US TV shows I watch. Some of the story seems like it’s straight out of criminal minds to be honest because of how many curveballs your thrown.I really like the cast and there acting and I appreciate that it’s not a romance centered storyline. It really does keep you guessing and I had a lot of WTF moments because I was surprised. It’s definitely worth watching if you want an interesting, detailed show to watch

I’d suggest watching it, though it does feel long. I like watching the character development and it is definitely funny.

Average, but worth watching
I have nothing against age gaps in real life or film. I just have noticed that usually older women dramas aren't my favorite to watch. I appreciate that she rebuilt her life like she deserved. The story's main characters are an older woman (around 30 who had just gotten divorced was moving on with her life, trying to rejoin the work force after many years of staying home. The male lead is about 23 years old and the CEO of a cosmetics company. He is obviously wealthy (including his family). I liked the supporting characters too, they added to the comedic value of the drama *clap* *clap*. Over all the story is nothing ground breaking but it was fun to watch and I liked seeing the woman succeed :)The acting is okay. Not bad, not great. It's worth watching, and it's an easy watch too!
