So i bought this dvd (yes you heart it right dvd) i think it was summer 08; it was that time when eng sub dramas where nowhere to be found and all that was left was to pay 60 to 100 dollars for your dose of drug. And i must say that all i knew about this drama was that according to my pals of soompi it was the must underrated drama of 2007, and oh lord how right they were. Like really what a masterpiece for god sake, who would know that in kdrama world there could exist a leading lady with such a pair of balls, i puted myself in her shoes and imagine how i would react if that chain of events happened to me and i must say that for the first time in kdrama i felt like she wasn't acting like the poor little leading lady that poor of her that got deceived, lied and screwed by everyone, but she rather turned thing around and got in her feet the best that she could and changed her naive self the best that she could so that she could survive in a world of wolfs. I could say almost the same about the leading man who was a son of a b^&&& during the first half of the drama (i guess he had his reasons) but was able to redeem himself in my heart by owning his mistakes and becoming a better man. Its the kind that even if it is far from perfect i do rewatch every year just to remind myself of how great it was.

Come at it with an open mind

This drama comes from the writer of the last 2 HIStory (trapped and make our days count), and here she has really evolved and push the envelope in what is the second couple, giving us Step siblings that grow up together and are entangled in a serial of questionable‘s situations. So put your open minded suit on and enjoy the ride. This show didn’t impress me the first time but has really surprised me the need that i feel to rewatch it several times a year. Right now i have just accepted that i was quick to judge the first time around and that didn’t allowed me understand the emotions and feelings of the character. This is a well thought drama that will need a calm, mature an open mind to understand. The real gold of this drama is the main couple, what a loving, understanding and trusting pair.

I guess that the fact that i watched this while it was airing, the very long waiting for a new episode and the hype that this drama created (tw drama with the highest rating at least until 2015) made me like it way more that i should, but i really fell in love with this characters and actors; and thought the years it stayed in my mind as a gem. I admit that a lot of it is exaggerated, from the acting (kinda typical of tw dramas) to the situations that occurred. Years later when i rewatched it didn't meet up with the memories and impressions i had of it. So somehow it felt like a bubble that got burst.
