One of the worst Female Leads ever written. Terrible Plot.

Drama is a gag. If you think critically you won't like it but if you see it as silly, you may be able to enjoy it. As the title states, the FL is a deceitful liar who uses lies to get what she wants. One of the most selfish FL I have seen. The FL treats the SML better literally until the end and gives him more trust than the ML when she literally caught him red handed lying. The SML is the most despicable person and the FL trusts/treats him better. She literally catches him and overhears the SML with the ML's stepmom and knows they have an affair and are deceiving everyone and still does not trust the ML. SHE FINDS THIS OUT AND DOES NOT TELL THE ML RIGHT AWAY. Like WTF? Do you not think he should know that crucial information. Even after this scene, they show another scene of the SML confessing to the FL. WHAT? She just overheard you having an affair with the ML's stepmom and they show this? Why is the FL even still meeting alone with this guy? Then he says stuff to make her suspect the ML and she starts to doubt the ML AGAIN. The ML has done so much for her by this point and never expected anything in return and she still has the nerve to doubt his character. The FL's character may be the worst character ever written. All this nonsense plot of evil culminates into 5 minutes of revenge scene at the last episode. Absolutely terrible.

It is ridiculous how selfish the FL is. She only cares about herself and never once put herself in the ML's shoes. The ML is so selfless, helping her with everything. He got her farm back and she still does not give him the benefit of the doubt. The ML is a pushover and simp.

None of the show makes any sense and it is just plot. The music is awful as well. They try and make certain scenes sad when they are not sad at all. If someone digs their grave, they should lie in it.

These Chinese dramas make the wildest things happen for plot. This show finally put an end to me watching chinese dramas that are rated under 8. I will stick to the recap on Youtube if I'm interested.

Don't waste your time with this melodramatic nonsense.

Do not bother with this one. It is just a compilation of overused plot lines; for example, she gets amnesia after falling on a bike...These triangle relationships always have such a double standard. The guy always makes the relationship clear and draws a line with the side girl, but the girl always flirts and leads the side guy on. It is starting to get annoying. They make the FL lead appear oblivious, like oh he's just a friend and take no responsibility for making their significant other feel like shit. Throughout the story, it is literally the ML that takes all the suffering, while the FL is the cause of all of it and she is completely oblivious. She did not apologize once and the ML keeps taking the blame and is the bigger person because if he doesn't the FL will just leave him; and it is kind of pathetic. Even when her friend tells her straight up that the ML sacrificed a lot to be with her and the ML explicitly tells her he is very jealous and does not want her to be alone with the side guy, she keeps doing it. She literally treats the SML better and is way more considerate of his feelings, but when it comes to her husband she has no clue and does nothing for him. The ML is so hurt by the FL literally going on dates with the SML while they are married and he still does not blame her. One moment when the ML confronts the FL while she ran away to live with the SML and says I'm sorry, the SML tells him to fuck off in front of the FL and she takes the SML's side. It is absolutely ridiculous. The FL's character is absolutely terribly written; although she is cute. I really feel bad for the ML here as he is just a punching bag. No one cares about him at all. I do not think the FL actually acknowledged any of the pain the ML was going through once. Like does the SML not have any other friends? why is she spending a romantic candlelight dinner with the SML on his birthday when she is married? And then the SML walks her home and first thing she says to ML is "you're not mad". If you knew it would upset him, why do it? make it make sense. But the FL makes the ML the bad guy for feeling jealous. You are literally going on a date with the SML...The FL is actually terrible. When the ML goes to the hospital to take care of the SFL, the FL asks to go with him cause she is jealous. Why can't the ML feel the same. The ML and SML are childhood friends can he not go with her when she meets the SML? She does not understand this once...it is infuriating to me. I do not know why people like this stuff.

At the end the ML sacrifices everything for the FL, and then she RUNS AWAY and boom 1 year time skip. Then the ML finally finds her after 1 year and almost no convo happens; he just proposes and she accepts then queue happily ever after. The ML comes back from retirement after marriage by singing the FL's composed song. They do not show any moments of this and just queue happy ending. It would have been nice if they focused the plot on the leads actually loving each other. One wants to be a composer and the other is a famous singer. They could have made such good moments of them working together but nope, lets just do melodramatic garbage.

They had cute moments between the leads, but those were rare and most of it was just a lot of melodramatic garbage that i had to skip through. I could not imagine actually watching the whole thing.

I absolutely loved it. "Life is a series of choices. Producing a result that matches your values".

Man what a unique story. I really enjoyed the life lessons displayed in this story. The ML has so many layers to him and the bottom line is he is someone who will stick to his values. Some people are upset he is a fool which in a way he is. From the start he was an idealistic, optimistic, introverted fool. "Life is a series of choices. Producing a result that matches your values". This is probably the best theme of the show. The ML does so many things detrimental to his life following his values and is clueless, but the one thing it did for him was bring people closer to him. He could not have done a thing by himself, but because of the choices he made, he gained friends who would do anything to help him with his goal. On the contrary, you have the SFL who chose to abandon her morality for her own success leading to a successful yet empty life. Ironically, the ML ends up way more successful than her.

SPOILER TIME

I could not really understand the SFL's character. Even when the murderer of her so called benefactor (father figure) was in jail, she did not seem happy and even looked sad. She states multiple times that she hates him for killing her benefactor, but she had the nerve to look sad while visiting him in jail. Even after he is released from jail, she has dinner and a drink with him? Her character is so inconsistent and despicable. I get her internal conflict of being an orphan and needing to worry about herself, but it did not make sense. I was waiting for her character to turn around and my expectation didn't happen. I thought she was a double agent the whole time lol, but nope she is just a selfish, terrible person. There were so many other ways she could have accomplished what she wanted, but she chose to sell herself for the easy way out and betray everyone that ever cared for her. Honestly, it felt good to see the ML reject her. Sure she tried to redeem herself at the end, but this was only because of the events that happened. She never had revenge in her mind from the start.

Also the 2nd son of the antagonist was another character I didn't understand and he did a complete 180 OUT OF NOWHERE. For him to betray his friends and put out that Hye-In was a trans was out of character. He all of a sudden became a despicable character and betrayed everyone. It really made no sense considering his character build-up. They say he did it all for the FL, but she literally clarified it and he still went down the evil path. It was another moral of the story that business is about people; while the CEO antagonist thought business was about profits. Ultimately he ended up with no one by his side by the end including his sons who wanted him dead.

Also when ML gets out of jail, it shows he has a relationship with this mob boss, but then that goes nowhere and the boss actually sides with the antagonist at the end; so why show him liking the ML. I guess they wanted to show that money means everything, but at this point the ML is also rich and the mob is banking on this ex-convict to take over the group which he never would because he is an ex-convict. That part did not make sense to me tbh.

The FL is amazing in her resolve to change once she meets the ML. She was initially someone without a care in the world and superficial until she met the ML. He was someone completely opposite to her. She could not believe that after all the pain and suffering the ML has been through; he can still be this kind, forgiving person. A personality that she has never met in her entire life and she falls for the ML. The moment when she thought "I want to make the ML into someone amazing" was so good. It was honestly so nice to see a FL who reciprocates the care that the ML gives. She was the only one who saw his pain and wanted to save him like he does for everyone else. The ML has never had anyone care for him like the FL did. He never had anyone cry for his pain; when he himself never cared how much he hurt. As much as the FL changed by meeting the ML; the ML also changed meeting her. He was always someone to hide his emotions and wear a mask; but around her he seems to let it all out. The leads had so many good moments and the acting was so good. The ML was someone who was always selfless and put others before him and the first time he decided to be selfish was to keep the FL as his manager knowing she was putting her entire life on the line. She was willing to become the devil if it meant helping the ML, but the ML would never allow that. She was the only one to do to him what he has been doing to others and she melted his icy cold exterior. The scene where ML realizes he likes the FL was done so well. It was an amazing story. This was the FL's first main role in a series and she deserved the award she got for it.

Overall, I am just nitpicking on some parts and really enjoyed the series. Definitely something I will rewatch down the line.

The story and characters are terrible. The actors are great though and some scenes are good.

So basically the story centers around a narcistic female lead with a terrible personality and a pathetic ML who can't move on past his first love even though she did. There is not 1 redeeming quality that the FL has but all these guys are obsessed with her? I'm sorry but there is nothing romantic about a guy who can't get over his ex for 8 years even though she moved on. They make the ML this nice guy who helps everyone and is a genius weather forecaster, but ultimately he is just a pathetic guy that was hung up on his ex for 8 years which the entire town knows about. The story is very focused/centered on the FL and the ML is basically a side character.

Do not get me started on the ridiculous love triangle that makes the ML even more pathetic. I wish they made these love triangles more organic than forced. Like they always show these sad scenes of the 3rd wheel being sad that the leads are together. Cmon now. Do the writers think it's romantic that 2 guys stay single and hold onto love for their childhood friend for decades into their mid 30's? At least the ML and FL have history, but the 3rd wheel has always just had a platonic relationship with the FL. One pathetic character pining over the FL was not enough they had to add another side character that was even worse. The amount of screen time the SML got one-sideingly chasing after the FL was ridiculous. Like he sees them kiss and hug and everybody in the village knows they like each other and in his crazy head still thinks he has a chance? No matter how much sad background music you play, it will not be sad...it is just pathetic and weird. By episode 5, I could tell where this story was going and had to skim through the rest and the story goes exactly how you would expect.

I really enjoyed the first few episodes but man does the show go downhill. The actors are great though, their characters and the plot are just poorly done.

Below average show. The FL is one of the worse leads I have seen.

This drama should not be taken seriously at all. Otherwise, as everyone else is saying the FL will drive you crazy. She is really a brat and nearly no positive qualities. The ML does a lot for her even though he has no relation because he is simply a nice guy and she tries to sabotage him most of the show. Like the FL is mad that the ML is acting like a saint towards her. He protects her from her grandpa (who's mad at her for acting like a brat and yelling at him), He protects her from her ex-coworker who ruined her life, he buys her a tablet, and he genuinely appreciates everything she does for him (even though he pays her well). All this and she still tries to sabotage him and has the nerve to feel bad about it. How about you just stop? The FL does not have one ounce of decency and is a brat. Obviously when they start to like each other things change, but still. The ML is a great character though. Which is why it is annoying that the FL is trying to ruin him and his dream when all he does is care about her. And for what? because she wants her bath house back? Ruining the livelihood and dream of someone who only helps you is messed up. I think the ex that randomly broke up with the ML is nicer than the FL to be honest. She did not do anything terribly wrong to the ML; she did not cheat and broke up because she thought she did not feel the same way anymore which is natural. Of course this hurt the ML, but it is something that happens. What the FL doing most of the show is just wrong on so many levels. Her entire personality is partly because someone else ruined her dream and stole her work and here she is doing the same thing to someone so nice. When she gets caught there is no redemption and the ML simply forgives her because he likes her. All that build up for such a terrible response.

This is meant to be a rom com, but more on the comedy side. The FL is supposed to be the way she is for the show to be what the show is. I enjoyed some moments of the show but the ending ruined it for me. Nothing made sense at the end. The show is a short drama and they tried to do too much at the end. I don't get why these dramas have these side characters that are interested in the leads the whole show and then right at the end they date another side character. In this case the ML's ex is the SFL and she randomly ends up with the ML's brother (like cmon). They were in a relationship for 3 years and she just gonna end up with the brother? Can characters just be single? why force things. They go on one date and are immediately in love and bring up marriage. The show actually ends with the ML not even knowing about their relationship.

The ending is actually worse than the beginning. I regret watching this show tbh. They tried to do way too much in 12 episodes. The FL goes back and forth between wanting to help the ML and ruin him which makes no sense. One second she is doing her best for the restaurant and the next second she is trying to ruin it by sabotaging it. How about you just not help or do a bad job? it makes no sense. They could use this to add a lot of comedy to the show but there is not 1 funny scene. Up to episode 9 the FL tries to ruin the ML's restaurant and dreams and once she is caught; nothing really happens because the ML likes her. All that build-up. The entire show was about that for nothing.

This is not a rom com because there are literally 0 comedic moments. It is just a romance/food show but the romance is actually terrible.

Great drama that is different from the norm. Worth the watch, although it can be a little slow.

I really enjoyed this drama. It is different then your normal drama and is more mature. They use silence to their advantage and some of the scenes are really beautiful. There are a lot of messages to this show if you look deep enough. It is fast paced, although the scenes can be slow due to the sign language. The leads confess to each other early and really like each other and fill in for each other's insecurities. The FL is insecure and has low self-esteem due to her lack of success in life and as an actress, but she is very kind hearted. She meets the deaf ML who has lead a sad life as an orphan abandoned by everyone he cared about. Both have flaws which lead to misunderstandings and the language barrier between the two does not help.

Both the leads have side characters who have unrequited love for them respectively (SFL and SML). The ML's love interest is his past lover from college who hurt him badly and the FL's love interest is her childhood friend. Both the side characters are coming on recent relationships and just decide to intrude on the leads lives just when they finally find love. That's drama for you.

In this show you see a lot about life and the struggles of everyday people. First you see how hard it is for deaf people and the scrutiny they face from the public. Then in contrast you see that even normal people can have worse times and being deaf is not something to pity a person on.

I really enjoyed the scenes with his students and best friend. They had some good comedic moments.

The random break-up at the end ruined a 10/10 for me. They broke up just for melodrama's sake. I get that the ML stopped wanting to hurt the FL. The ML was always insecure about being in a relationship due to being deaf and the FL was insecure about their relationship. He was tired of seeing her hurt because of him so he decided to say let's break-up. This really made no sense to me...and is the reason a lot of people did not like the later episodes. Like their total relationship was not even a year but in the last episode we get a break-up than a 1 year time-skip. Typical...smh.

Boring show that drags. Romance is terrible and the leads character's are also terrible.

Semi-spoilers ahead, but not really.

I was not a fan of this show at all. The premise just was not it for me and they really dragged it out. It was a simple premise, ML get's injured in EP 1 due to an attack from an assailant (which the audience immediately knows who it is, but the characters do not) and afterwards he cannot recognize peoples faces. He can only see the FL when she wears a specific outfit. Due to circumstance, she acts as another girl during a blind date and the ML falls for both his secretary and the blind date who are the same person. I do not consider this a spoiler because this happens early on and it is the premise of the show; hence the title "Her secret life as another person". As a viewer, you obviously know this is not going to end well and once the ML learns the truth, it's going to be a lot of melodrama. The problem is this drags out for the entire show up til almost the end. The side characters are not interesting either.

This is one of those shows where they show the audience everything while the character's themselves are clueless. The show did not have much comedic moments, the romance was not great as the entire thing is built on a lie and as a viewer you are just waiting for the truth to come out because you know it is not going to end well, but they drag it out and even after the truth is revealed the romance is not that great. There are not really any amazing scenes between the leads. Nothing in this show gets you emotional. You do not really feel for any of the characters as the FL is lying the entire show and the ML kind of acts pathetic. The ML is supposed to be extremely smart hence his nickname "mind reader" however the entire show he acts incredibly stupid. I do not think he had one moment where he looked cool or strong. He is basically clueless the entire show. He relies on the FL and gets pushed around by everyone. The ML does not even get revenge on the antagonist. He does not do any of the mystery solving, the cops do all the work and tell him what happened and the antagonists get redemption by saying I'm sorry.

Terrible story IMO. This show would have been much better with 8-10 episodes.

Standard melodrama and is predictable. Good actors though.

Good story, premise, and actors; but it has a lot of the same melodramatic stuff going on when it comes to the triangle relationships. It is so predictable and I could guess exactly what was going to happen once a scene started. When i saw her pet the lost dog at the park i knew the SML was gonna show up LOL. Your standard melodramatic drama, but the premise is different so it was worth the watch. Wish they included her kid in the story more instead of just having her living in the Philippines and just mentioned as a part of her backstory. The leads do not get together til late in story like normal, but they do have a lot of nice moments with the build up. The ML is a genuinely nice guy who cares a lot for the FL who of course never saw everything she did for him until it all culminates and slaps her in the face. Even after he confesses she does not accept it...after everything he has done for her which would not be a problem, except she does have feelings for him so why reject him? Yeah there are superficial reasons you could say but that is your standard melodrama for you. To be frank the ML is kind of a simp which is normal for these melodramas i guess. He has unrequited love for decades while the FL marries and has a kid with someone else. He stalks her whenever he gets drunk. They make it romantic but it is all just melodramatic repetition.

Good drama, but i am kind of getting tired of the same romantic tropes being overused, but that is not this dramas fault and more my bias. I am kind of upset I did not enjoy this drama as much because it is actually very good. I think i need to take a break from melodramas.

Not the best drama.

Surprisingly, I am not too much a fan of this drama. It was kind of slow. I have been a fan of Chinese dramas from watching shows like Love O2O and Hidden Love where the leads love is so strong. Here the FL is obsessed with the ML and he keeps pushing her away due to his stoic personality, but starts to get jealous of another guy wooing her and he still refuses to show emotion. I get that he has childhood trauma, but it got old. Usually Chinese drama's pacing is better, but this one was very repetitive at the start. They do the same recurring thing for like 16 episodes. FL approaches ML and he is cold to her. The 3rd wheel approaches FL and flirts with her and they show ML jealous. They do this for like 16 episode straight...Around episode 17 it gets better as they move onto college and the story finally progresses. I would normally like the high school life, but it was so repetitive...Another thing that bugged me was, the SML does this whole grand goodbye to the FL and they made it all melodramatic like he was giving up on her and literally a few scenes later he is calling her after a swim meet and continues to flirt with her. like what was the point of all that then.

Not a terrible watch but I was not a big fan and probably would not recommend it.

Feel good, lighthearted story.

Good drama. Has your standard childhood friend meets as adults trope, but they do it well. It is just the premise for the start of the show and is the basis for their love for each other. This is a lighthearted drama with little melodrama and just a feel good watch. I was not interested in the side leads story so i skimmed through that, even though their relationship was just as lovely and pure.

The FL kind of annoyed me because she lead on her boss by not telling him she had a BF. Although, she was not trying to hide it, she was not explicit enough in turning him down which kind of annoyed me. At first, this matched her character because she was oblivious, but her friend explained it to her and she still did not tell the boss. On the contrary, the girl that was interested in the ML immediately encouraged his relationship with the FL when she heard because the ML was very clear about his feelings for her. That being said the FL never had any feelings for her boss and only loved the ML and she puts him above everything and vice versa.

I really have come to enjoy Chinese dramas because of the way they show love, family, and friendship. The ML and his family are such nice people. The ending was so beautiful and it was nice seeing both leads families swooning over their respective son/daughter-in-law

Worth the watch!

Great Chinese drama. The leads have good chemistry and their characters are written well. This shows demonstrates two people loving each other a lot and also displays amazing friendship. Great acting. Not much to dislike and it is lighthearted show. Interesting combination between an aerospace engineer and famous actress. The ML is very talented, yet he does not use his talents to his advantage fully. He could choose to be a finance manager or even an actor/influencer where he can make a lot of money, but chooses to do what he loves for little money; while the FL is successful and rich. There are some melodramatic moments, but they do not go overboard and you can understand why the leads do what they are doing and what emotions they are feeling. The premise is interesting, but I admit I did skim through the gaming scenes, because I was not too interested and it felt like an Ad.

I really enjoyed the show because the love between the leads and friendship moments were a pleasure. If you liked this show, you would love "Hidden Love", "Fireworks in my Heart", and "Love O2O".

You will not regret watching this.

This is a very good story with great actors. The leads are amazing from the ML and FL to the side characters. They are all able to display the character's emotions well and you can sympathize and feel it. This drama is a little more melodramatic with the premise of the rich family not accepting the poor BF and this lasts until the end of the show. Initially, I thought it was getting repetitive but as the series progresses you can see the emotion from the characters and understand why they are doing what they are doing. I have really come to enjoy Chinese dramas because they really display the love between the main leads. Although there are your standard triangle relationship, the FL clearly draws the line and the leads only love each other.

The brotherhoods in this drama is just wonderful to watch. The firefighter action was great and you really how selfless there job is. The way the whole firefighter squad tries to ship the leads together is hilarious!

The only thing I did not like was they really focus too much of the plot on her non-biological brother having a thing for his sister which is off-putting for me and melodramatic. Because he has feeling for his sister, he is obsessive and controls her; not caring for her own feelings. She tells him early on that "he is out of his mind" for even suggesting they get together and he still keeps going. I always hated this about certain triangle relationships. When a person says they do not like you and like the other person; that should be end of story, but literally it goes on til late in the series. I will say though they did a good job of explaining his emotions and you do feel bad for him as well by the end as well. The acting in this series was superb and some of the FL's scenes were so emotional. Even the ML's niece had an amazing scene at the end (it was so touching and one of my favorite moments).

The ML is portrayed as a the nicest human being. You can really learn a lot from this story on being a good person.

Great lighthearted story with good romance and real friendship. Great comedy moments as well!

The story and premise was refreshing and something you have not seen before. The leads were married in the game and the transition to real life was seamless. Fast pacing and you do not have to wait until the end of the series for them to get together. They have a great chemistry and have beautiful, adorable scenes together. They actually get together early on and it is nice to see it is not messy and they are genuinely just gushing over each other. There were thankfully not a lot of melodrama and it's just a nice lighthearted story. Not really any triangles as the leads are only interested in each other although they do have people that have crushes on them. No BS break-ups either. They even joke about normal dramas and how the leads never get together easy and always break-up LOL. The friendship was also amazing and the interactions between the brothers were hilarious. There were so many good moments. The FL will not let anyone criticize or hurt her friends/BF and she has such good moments defending them. The leads are so trusting of each other and make sure to not do anything that would hurt the other's feelings. In K-dramas you have the FL flirting with another guy even with a relationship, while here the FL is very respectful to her BF and vice-versa. In the end the antagonist tries to send a meaningful goodbye message to FL and the ML reads it with her and the ML is the one to respond back. It is a small gesture but it shows that the FL does not even want to message another dude back lol. Not like it matters but it was refreshing to see.

The one thing i did not like was the side character with glasses. He is someone with literally no relation to the FL until he tried to frame her for being a slut for going into a luxury car. He has the nerve to act like the FL belongs to him. She literally showed him no affection and even told him to get lost, but he has the nerve to basically call her a slut again when the FL and ML get in a relationship. He is the one that stalked the FL and mistook her in-game character for someone else and made up a weird fantasy in his head. Complete weirdo and I did not think it was right for him to have as much screen time as he did; nor any sort of redemption. I loved how the FL met with him on episode 20 and shut his ass down after she found out though. She straight up told him he is a weirdo and bad guy and does not want anything to do with him and she said "I dont want to repeatedly waste my time clearing your world view" because he is literally nothing to her and she is just a nice person. She also straight up told him he makes weird assumptions and she does not even want to spend another minute thinking about him because he has a completely distorted, perverted mindset. He based all his misunderstanding by stalking her getting her account username and even when faced with the truth he has the nerve to say "impossible".

I guess some people did not like the kissing scenes but i don't really care about that as much as i care about the actual characters themselves. It was so adorable seeing the FL's inner monologue as she gushes over the ML and the ML acting like a complete gentlemen.

The leads make the show a good watch! but all the other scenes are meh.

The chemistry between the main leads was great and their emotions toward each other was good to watch at first. Their love for each other was strong from start to finish and their conflicts with their love due to misunderstandings was done well. Problem is they did not really focus on their relationship at all. Finally when they get together, they still show the SML chasing after the FL which makes no sense. Also you did not even get to enjoy the leads relationship because when things stabilize, melodrama comes in and the ML has to move to New York while the FL stays. All the other side plots were not interesting and got old after awhile. A lot of the plot was on the SML, i guess they wanted the actor to get a lot of screen time but it really made me go from liking the show to hating it.

The triangle wasn't annoying at first because the FL only ever considered the SML like an uncle or older brother, but they kept making it a part of the story even up til episode 15. The SML is a nice guy, but it is just weird to see an older guy chasing the FL when it is clear she does not like him romantically. He comes off as a creep to me and completely ruined the show for me. Like he confesses to the FL early on and she rejects him but he still keeps acting annoying. Eventually, I had to skim through the scenes with the SML because it was just too annoying and creepy. He knows she loves the ML and the ML loves her but will not give up. Even when the leads are having an emotional moment about finally reuniting he has the nerve to say "dont go" "if you cant go to him just give me a shot" "just give me a try". The FL never lead him on and only treated him as a friend, but he acts like a creep. All the scenes with the SML and FL were just creepy. The SFL was good and she was a real friend. She did the normal thing when she knew the ML and FL loved each other and let the ML go. The SML however does not care about anyone else but himself and keeps being a creep. And finally when he steps aside we are supposed to think of him as a good person for doing the right thing and that it was a good moment? She clearly stated she likes the ML and has no feelings for the SML so what other choice does he have? why flip a coin to say whether or not he will give up? SHE DOES NOT LIKE YOU BRO, end of story. And even after "he let her go" they still show scenes of him being sad while looking at cute moments between the leads. He took advantage of FL being a good person to constantly harass her. It was absolutely disgusting to watch. The SML chases the FL til episode 15...even though there was no deep connection between them. He just had a crush on her and slightly helped her with her career as a mentor, but for some reason the SML keeps acting like a creep even when the FL dismisses him multiple times. Like even after the ML and FL are dating and kissed, the SML basically kidnaps the FL lying to her and then he takes her to dinner and an amusement park and they walk romantically down the street. like wtf is going on. The FL is too nice but cmon, what BF would want their GF going to an amusement park with another man, especially when that man has explicitly said he likes her. AND THIS IS AFTER HE SAID HE WILL GIVE UP ON HER. I get that they made it seem like oh they are going on a friend date before he says goodbye, but then he comes back and hugs her again the next episode! Like make up your mind writer...he says he gave up on the FL like 3 times and still keeps harassing her until the last episode. It is ridiculous. And they have the nerve to put on sad music during his goodbye scenes. How is it sad? She does not like him, get over it. She loves her childhood friend who also loves her back. Why is it sad that she does not like some creep?

The ML and FML make the show and their scenes were beautiful to watch in the beginning. It was refreshing to see leads so in love like that with nothing coming in their way. The misunderstanding was nothing to them due to their love. I was so glad they did not make the reveal melodramatic. The ML loved her so much he blamed himself and not the FL for lying to him which was so nice to see.

By the end though you kind of disdain the FL. She was very selfish herself and did not really acknowledge the ML's feelings. It felt like she did not love him as much as he loved her.

Most will not like this story.

I think most people do not like it because who wants to see a ML be depressed for half the series with no progress and he keeps getting misunderstood by everyone. The FL is selfish and takes no interest in the ML until episode 10. Literally no interest, no care for the ML at all even though he is fawning over her like a dog and a bone. All of her emotions are due to her own self-interests and she really does not show anyone compassion, but she is supposedly a nicer person than ML who is stern on the outside due to his pain. The FL says "he is impossible to read" but takes no effort to actually try to understand him until it is right in her face. He obviously cares about her and wants to help her; why else would he sign the radio contract, but she does not take this into account and only sees ML at surface level for over half the series.

The ML basically acts as a simp for the FL which is also annoying to see and only after the FL sees him cry does she start to care for him. All everyone does is use the ML even the FL. When he finally tells the FL he likes her, she brushes him off. Even when she remembers him she brushes him off saying, "did you think i would say i like you when i remembered". Literally took til the end of episode 9 for FL to realize ML was the one hurting the most. Even after she kisses the ML and accepts his feelings, she still goes on a "date" with the SML and the ML even calls her and asks her to not do it but she says "ill do what i want", not taking into account ML's feelings. The FL is honestly grotesque in this story and i have not seen a worse FL in a romantic drama. Even after they are dating when the weird SML confesses to her, SHE ACTUALLY CANCELS HER DATE WITH ML AND HAS TO THINK ABOUT HER FEELINGS and this decision actually hurts the ML deeply. like WTF? are you kidding me....the ML is absolutely obsessed with her and her feelings are surface level. She is so selfish and so uncaring to others feelings, it is actually disgusting to watch. The actress is great but the character is badly written. The actress is great but the character is badly written

You can sympathize with the ML and his traumas, but since there is no progress and he is treated like dirt for the first half of the show; you will lose interest. It feels like when things go wrong, the ML is always the one understanding and apologizing first. The moment when ML met FML mom was a good scene. She was the one person that tried to understand him and said he was a good person. It took til episode 5 for someone to care about his feelings and then right after the annoying SML comes in and ruins the scene. Like can we not get one touching moment with the leads? do we always have to do this BS triangle plot. So many times the ML is gonna have a moment with the FL and then SML comes in and ruins the scene. The SML is actually a weirdo. The FL never once showed that she liked him but he keeps touching her and acting like he owns her. When she gets caught going to a hotel with ML he has the audacity to yell at her like she belongs to him or something. She doesn't like you buddy, move on creep, but at the same time FL is equally to blame. Seems like no-one gives a damn about ML. Even when they get together, the ML does all the legwork in the relationship.
