I LEAPED THE FIRST HALF OF THE SERIES

The timeline of Can-Tin's story doesn't flow rightly with their storyline in Part 1. I was so confused that I dropped the first half and started at episode 7. I don't mind if I missed the struggles of Ae but I couldn't care less because Can-Tin's story within the first half was already at Love By Chance part 1. I noticed that they changed the story a little bit but this is quite understandable since it became more detailed and elaborated. Also, there are many characters that were given too much screentime but actually don't need that too much exposure. I should've focused more to Can-Tin, Tul-Hin and Pete-Ae if I am the scriptwriter.

Overall, this is a step-up to part 1. You can still watch this even if you haven't watched the Part 1. Other than the chemistry of Pete-Ae, there's nothing significant left.

Am I a grasshopper while watching this series?

This series has no substance. The only good story that I find watchable here is Can-Tin relationship. How could you make a series with multiple main characters who seem like they are just part of the minor side story? I checked that there's a part 2 of this series. I just wished they just focused Can-Tin and Pete-Ae in this series and let the stories of Kla-Techno and Tum-Tar in part 2.

Poor camera angles of the kissing scenes literally make the fake scenes so obvious.

The actors portray their roles as if they were just like practicing their scripts. Everything is average.

I will be watching the part 2 though. Hoping to see a change.

(PS: I skipped way too many that I feel like I'm a grasshopper)

THE STORYLINE IS A DIAMOND IN A FLESH, NOT A HANDFUL OF DUST

Is this really a 16-episode series with an hour and a half long each episode???? I would have been skipping a lot of scenes when it comes to dramas with these very long episodes. But not this one! I enjoyed binge-watching this. This series is jampacked with lessons. There are so much to learn in this series; family relationships, mental health, your own ideal job, struggles of the LGBTQ+ community, love and living in the present. I love how they showed emphasis to the reality of LGBTQ+ in a homophobic society. It is the truth but everyone must stand firmly to who they really are. It can be hard but it will be worth it.

All throughout the entire series, I am fully immersed to the flow of plots. The mysteries behind excite me. The storyline started in a single spring, flowed through different streams, and finally became a wonderful waterfall. I love the compact interrelationships of the characters. I applaud the scriptwriter/s for making an excellent view of all the characters' unique personality. They make it very clear to see what the characters' intentions are.

There may be worst-natured characters here but I don't hate the actor/s who played their roles. Their acting portrays perfectly. Everyone did their best jobs.

What makes this an emotional ride the most is the music behind it. It always strikes me at the right time. Also, I would like to mention what I really love in here. They used the actual singing of the characters. I hate it when it comes to series that uses a recorded song and makes the actor do the lip-syncing. The actor/s look dumb and cringey all the way around.

A MUST-WATCH! It has unique story, great acting, heartfelt music. I will always remember this one. I will rate this with my usual highest 8/10 rewatch value.

(Note: To make you believe that it is worth watching, this is my third highest rated BL drama ever. I still don't have a 10/10 rated BL drama though.)

The story is very Filipino

I already finished watching tons of BL dramas (Korean, Thai, Japanese) and this is my first Filipino BL drama that I have watched. The story is so far the realest of all and addresses the situation of some LGBTQ community in today's society. I love how they mixed a lot of comedy and a little horror in the series.

The story is good actually but the execution of the characters (excluding Anna because she's perfect in every scene) has a bit off in some parts. The conversations have too much Taglish (Tagalog-English) and it's a little displeasing to my ears. For me, it would be better if they lessen the use of English. One to three English words in a sentence would do.

I'm quite impressed to the acting of Ian (Vlad), Justine (Sue) and Yesh (Anna). Paolo (Karl) has a decent acting though. Adrienne (Judit) is way too exaggerated sometimes but I like how consistent her way of speaking. Their emotions through body language and facial expressions are very remarkable. But, I noticed unpleasant phrasing of words in some parts when the main characters are conversing. That made me off while watching.

Although I rated this with 7.5/10 which is in the average on my standard, I would say that this is a MUST-WATCH.

SOMEBODY CALL 911

Watching Off-Gun in Not Me has led me watched this drama because their chemistry is one of my favorites. But I hate to say this, their roles here are disaster. Also, the plots from episode 1-10 are a total mess.

How can the first half of the entire series revolve around Third's love blindness? I saw myself annoyed and frustrated on his character. Yes, I know that "Love HURTS" but know your worth, bro. Should I get frustrated also on Khai's a**hole character? I have enough on the main characters.

Cooling myself down, I admire Two's character the most. He is a supportive friend that I want to have in my life. Luckily, he learns from Un's advice. Why can't Third learn it too? Oh, I guess this is what the writer/s intended to show; a love starting from friends to lovers (Third-Khai), a new-found love (Two), and a love that accepts another's love (Bone).

Episodes 11-12 are the best episodes in this series. Although I hate how disastrous and toxic the main character's situations in episodes 1-10 is, but I felt too much happiness and love on how things cleared up and ended.

This is Thai drama so expect a high rating in acting/cast. The only flaw is the parent of Khai. Like wtf???? Don't you have an inch of care from your son???

Music is decent. No negative thoughts regarding this.

-------------

Not a must-watch but my time isn't wasted while watching this decent series.

UNBALANCED MAIN STORIES

There are two main couples here, Fighter-Tutor and Zon-Saifah. Initially, I thought that I would like more the Zon-Saifah but I am really disappointed about how cringey their plot is. It seems that their story was already planned by the writer to be light and common. For the other couple, the writer did a full 180. Fighter-Tutor's love development is captivating and interesting.

All casts are really good in acting. BUT, there are too many characters here that are not needed actually especially the college friends.

Should I mention how unfitting the love stories of their friends?
1. Dew-Blue-Champ??? Is it just to add more couples in the series? Non-sense and too much exposure. But, Nat (Blue) is the cutest Thai actor I've seen so far in my whole life. He looks like a puppy.
2. Japan-Tanthai??? I found their scenes the definition of 'cuteness overload and I love it' though but what is their impact to the storyline???
3. Natee-Zol-Zen??? Why would they have been given time exposure for nothing? What happened after Zol gave Zen his backup phone??
4. Hwahwa-Day. This is quite necessary so I don't have problem with it.

Special mention for,
1. Kae. I like how they made him put in a situation where he needed to speak up for the LGBTQ.
2. Tharn-Type. Actually, I just finished watching their series a week ago. Watching them here is refreshing and funny.

Let's get back to the main couples...
1. Fighter-Tutor. Whenever I see Zee (Fighter), I always get annoyed. I don't know for sure what it is but I dislike him for no reason. But watching him together with Saint (Tutor) makes me less annoyed. They have appealing chemistry. But, their kissing scenes are too many to count. They shouldn't have given them kissing scenes in every place at the beach resort. That's too much if you will ask me.
2. Zon-Saifah. Although I am disappointed about how their relationship started, their chemistry from the middle to the end is very cute and cheesy. That's the only the positive remarks that I would give to them.

This is WATCHABLE but there are too many flaws to skip.

NOT MY BL ROMANCE TOTALLY

Yes, you've seen it on my headline. This is not my BL romance that I need but this is one hella CUTEST, CHEESIEST and MOST ADORABLE couples in the BL Drama world.

The plot goes from your usual enemies to lovers. This shows the struggles of two young men who fell in love with each other despite of their family circumstances. I love how they choose the parents' rivalry as the reason of the two main characters competing with each other. The setting of the drama is very common but they made the atmosphere of the whole series to the next funniest level, Thanks to the non-stop comedy!

What can I say about this epic casts aside from nailing their roles so hard? Nothing but praise-worthy!

This is a must-watch! Although I was a little bit worried in the first episode, but I was smiling and laughing so hard all throughout the series.

Recommendable drama!

REALLY??? ACTION+MYSTERY+THRILLER+POLITICS IN A BL DRAMA???

Most of BL dramas today aren't exploring the other genres and stick to romance only. But this series, not only does it explore different genres, it also exceeds those genres beyond my expectation. The story never missed out its momentum. I finished this series in one-go. This is also not your typical kind of BL drama with too much kissing scenes and I love how they only include the kissing scenes on the NECESSARY PLOTS.

Aside from the note-worthy story, the characters here are on-point. Usually in some dramas, I got distracted by characters who are insignificant to the storyline. But in this drama, all characters are very well-written and have sense to the story. Plus, the character development of everyone is very commendable. I would also like to praise the casts who portrayed their roles so well. What a setlist of great actors!

I DON'T SEE ANY NEGATIVE OPINIONS ON THIS DRAMA!

One of the top BL's, I would say! A must-watch and I would totally recommend this to other watchers.

TOXICITY IS EVERYWHERE

How can a drama with all the characters being toxic??? I would be dead by poison if I was also a part of that drama. The story is quite catchy and full of different types of emotion but I would never want to be with someone with the traits of all the characters (excluding Techno because he's a true friend and the funniest one). I hope they should've made a better story for Tar because this is the reason I rated the story with 6/10. That was one of the worst storylines I've seen so far in Drama World.

How could I forget the kissing scenes??? I can't remember how many kissing/sex scenes are in this drama. That was too much. It even beats KinnPorsche and Love In The Air.

The acting is really good in this drama. What I like about their acting is how well the actors portray their character. I guess there is some backlash regarding the toxicity of most characters here. But it is how the script is given to them. The main characters have good chemistry. The romantic scenes here are actually enticing though but why would they always cut it and finish with kissing? hahaha

If only this series has good storyline, I would give this a rewatch.

Anyways, this is watchable but I would not recommend this to someone who wants a healthy BL drama.

THE BEST BL MAIN LEADS SO FAR

This was my second BL drama next to To My Star 2 with an overall rating of 9/10 (this is my highest rating for BL dramas so far).

Let me summarize my opinion as to why this is one of the best BL dramas ever

1. Story. I have mixed emotions in a good way while watching this. There were unexpected moments that I was burst out laughing during action, romance and (horror?????? I can't stop laughing even just a thought of that scene). I cried. I laughed. I got scared. Didn't expect that BL would also be prefect in an action drama series.

2. Casts. In comparison to Korean BL, Thai BL has much better casts than most of the Korean BLs I've watched so far. It makes me think that Korean companies are scared to cast popular/professional actors due to public criticism or they are just not trying too hard to produce a high-quality drama. Even a Thai support actor can perform better than the main leads in Korean drama. The drama acting is topnotch. The comedy scenes are not forced. Even the intimate scenes are very praiseworthy. If I can give a rating above 10/10, I will give them.

3. The Chemistry of the Main Leads. The main leads are the most daring, the boldest, the cutest, the hottest and the best couple I've ever watched. Their physique is definitely different from each other but their chemistry is too perfect for me.

A must-watch.

LOVE IN THE AIR IS AN EXTREME DEFINITION OF "DIFFERENT" AMONG OTHER BL DRAMAS

Different in the positive note.

This is my very first Thai drama that I watched in full. I actually read some comments before watching this that this drama is R18+. But, I would've never thought that I would see a drama that is too daring and intimate. I expected less.

There are two different BL stories in this series that are both like 70% story and 30% R18+. Upon watching the entire series, I would say that both relationships are not healthy in real life. Okay, both relationships ended up with a happy note but how the story starts and goes isn't commendable. I don't know if this kind of relationship is very common in reality but I wouldn't want to see myself in their situation. This is my opinion as being conservative (don't judge me).

About the kissing and sex scenes, did the actors really touched their lips? If they are not real, I have high respect for the cameramen who shoot the scenes. The did a great job.

While watching the acting of the main leads, the relationship of Payu and Rain is more of a sexual pleasure and the relationship of Sky and Pai is more intimate. I actually like Payu's and Pai's acting. Rain's acting as a college student is lacking. Sky's acting as abused feels like forced but during his sex and kissing scenes, it is very praiseworthy.

To summarize, I'm giving this an 8/10 overall rating (above other BL dramas). While the story is very likely a drama that I've watched before, the intimacy in this drama is over-the-top.

THIS IS A MUST-WATCH BL DRAMA FOR VIEWER WHO WANTS LOVE THAT FEELS LIKE WALKING ON AIR.

It's 2023 and this is my first time watching this series. Although the story is very common, the chemistry between the main leads is captivating. Every second of their scenes feels new and refreshing. I ended up watching this entirely in one-go.

This series is quite short but acceptable. I might see myself re-watching this since every episode is less than 20 minutes in length.

Plus, because of this drama, I found the song that was stuck in my head all week long (one of the main leads in Light On Me was singing this song in a karaoke. I always replay that part before I watch kdramas).

I'm not biased with my rating. It just happened that the main leads are so good in their part. They are also a cute couple in 2022 series "Sh**ting Stars". Wish to see them again as young couples in the future dramas.

Must watch.

WHEN YOU FIND YOUR TRUE LOVE, EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

I am really a fond of dramas with stories that can bring emotions out of me. I also find this very special because of the use of two different languages (Thai and Korean). This is a story of two young friends, Peach who is a Thai and Yoon Oh who is a Korean.

I'm not used to watch Thai dramas before because I found myself uncomfortable from their way of speaking (I am apologizing to all Thai who reads this review). Sorry, I still needed to adjust with the language barrier. But after watching the entire series, I'm glad that I can now be able to watch Thai dramas that what my friends recommend. I can now focus to their stories and emotions without being bothered by unnecessary factors.

The actors really did a fantastic job. The two main leads have good chemistry.

I also feel full of emotions everytime they added the background music. They knew when to bring out the emotions of the viewers. I cried. I laughed. I got angry. I felt loved and cherished.

I may not give it a 100% rewatch value due to my own preference. I only give high ratings for rewatch value to dramas that can give me life lessons in my normal life.

Overall, this is a must-watch drama. I hope you have time watching this beautiful piece. This is in my top 10 for me out of 20+ BL dramas I have watched so far.

The story of season 2 is as not good as season 1 BUT there is an improvement overall

I don't know why this has a lower rating than Season 1? I'm reading some reviews and comments about being disappointed in Season 2? Whyyy? Because of re-casting???

Actually, I don't know who the actors are, so I know for sure that I am not biased. Yoo-han's (Hur Hyun Jun) character in Season 1 is perfectly written but he isn't giving me the emotions. Don't hate me, fans! That's my opinion while watching the entire Season 1. As also mentioned on my review in Season 1, Yeon-woo's (Yoo Jun) acting is too much for his character. But in Season 2, his acting was improved. Se-hyun's (Hyuk) acting was also good for me. I checked his details here in MDL and he played a bunch of dramas before.

Still, I'm expecting there will be Season 3 for this series because the story is unique, and I hope to see Yoo-han again (waiting for his improvement in acting because his mesmerizing looks are there).

UNIQUE STORY WITH LACK OF PORTRAYAL

I found the story intriguing, but I got disappointed by the acting. The two main leads act differently, one who acts too much and the other one who has no sense of emotion. This could be a great drama if this has a right casting of actors.

I will still watch Season 2 hoping there will be an improvement. There are changes in the main lead and I also hope that during this time, they should consider the right delivery of emotions.

This series is a no-no for me unless if you are looking for a good storyline.
