God I really wanted to like this drama. The whole plot was beautiful and could have been so much more. Another review said exactly what was on my mind I think Hyun Jun is a good actor with huge potential but his emotions in scenes where intense ones were needed felt... lacking. I don't know if he was uncomfortable with the role or if it was just first gig inexperience but I just couldn't feel the emotions of his character the way you're supposed to. I'm upset about the lost potential but looking past it the plotline was beautiful.
Man I tried and tried to pick this back up since the day episode one aired I tried so hard to enjoy it.. not only because I'm a fan of SHINee and Taemin but because it could've been so good. The acting.. story progression... all of it was just so?? not well done. All of it was so sloppy and all over the place though it seems like it'd stimulate the hell out of my adhd it felt like the whole thing was going nowhere. I hope one day Taemin gets another chance at a lead role that does better. I really think acting is something he can be really good at but this just didn't allow him to shine. Although.... We did get one hell of a Taemin meme out of it.
