I don't understand how you can have a great boyfriend - someone who is kind, caring, warm, only has eyes for you, resolute and extremely hard-working then breakup with him because he has family issues on the same day you have yours and wasn't able to be there for you. How about YOU being there for HIM??!!! For once!!!!! This foolishness is what happened between Song Yi and Do Hyun. She breaks up with him. Worst of all, she chooses to be with Tae just because he met her first and has known her for 20+ years??? OF COURSE Tae was able to always be there for her... he has no JOB or responsibilities!!! Heck, he was given the house he stays in. This drama was definitely a waste of my time. Such a shame. I loved the cast.

My ramblings

Original story, beautiful/talented actors, excellent music, and gorgeous outfits. This drama touches on sensitive topics like homosexuality and dark things like teen suicide.

I really liked JoJo in the beginning.... towards the end, not at all and I can sorta see why her BFF started to hate her. She had a great relationship with Sun Oh until he doesn't respond to her for 2 days because he was recovering from a bike accident they had..? She decides during this time that it's best to break up with him because she doesn't want to be hurt. Four years later, she admits to being young and immature and regrets what she did, but does she try to fix it? Nope. She sees how broken Sun Oh is. She even has proof that he still loves her. The easiest thing in the world is to just tell him what happened so he's not blaming himself and unable to get the answers he needs to at least move on. At this point I really feel like JoJo doesn't deserve him now. He's better off with the girl he's with. How the heck is JoJo so full of regret but is now able to give Sun Oh's best friend Hye Young (who she didn't even know existed despite working with him until she got with Sun Oh) a chance but she can't give Sun Oh back his chance? As if she doesn't still feel something for him. How is Hye Young more deserving than Sun Oh?

I see so many people dislike Sun Oh but I personally like a man who knows what he wants. I get that he and Hye Young were best friends but I don't believe Sun Oh intentionally went after Hye Young's crush. Sun Oh even gave Hye Young several chances to confess to JoJo and Hye Young denies it/never does. I love that Sun Oh went for what he wanted and he got the girl until she became stupid. I'm sorry but Hye Young was so annoying to me. He missed his chance and now he needs to leave Sun Oh and JoJo alone - whether they are together or not. The only other character that I REALLLLLYYYY FOOOKING hate more than JoJo is Gul Mi. That girl is awful! Nothing she said even makes sense. How is it JoJo's fault what happened to her parents? Worse, how is JoJo believing that crap? Just seems like everyone started on drugs half way through this drama because it became a bunch of bad decisions with no clear explanations.

I applaud these actors for taking such a bold role!

This drama revolves around a friends with benefits type of relationship. There is skinship and canoodling so be prepared. I appreciated this drama because it showed a more realistic side of life/relationships and I found myself being able to relate in many ways to Na-Bi. I also enjoyed following the side romances in the story. There's even a gay relationship; although, it's not really clearly stated as that.

Can we talk about the music? It just made every scene more heartfelt! ^_^

I would have liked to know more about the main characters, like what made Jae-eon that way. It was nice meeting his mom, but it still left so many questions. And what's his and Seol-A's story? Did anyone else immediately think... tramp stamp, when seeing the butterfly tattoo on his neck? HAHA! That pick up line, "would you like to see them" (his butterfly collection) had me shamelessly screaming YES PLEASE at the screen every darn time.

The ending was definitely predictable. And I'm still lost as to what Jae-eon and Na-Bi's spat in the rain was about. It seems like things could have been easily cleared up by Jae-eon just saying he doesn't have a girlfriend, especially because by then he clearly knew he loved Na-Bi. Something about him feeling like she hated him but she only acted cold because she thought he had a girlfriend, right? Or still seeing other girls, which he wasn't. Anyway, there was definitely a lot of unnecessary turmoil.

I immediately fell head over heels for Song Kang in Love Alarm. He's so naturally charming, sinfully alluring, and gorgeous. This might sound crazy, but I felt like this was how Love Alarm should have ended or that maybe this was a continuation to season 1. HA! Although this is my first time watching Han So Hee on screen, she's so beautiful, incredibly talented, and really played her character perfectly. Watch this drama - you won't regret it! I'm looking forward to watching more from Han So Hee and Song Kang! <3
