Another badass heroine

I cannot wait to see it in viki. Even if I haven't finished it yet I can tell that this is not an ordinary wuxia drama with a lot of romance because you can see a lot of martial arts and fights and how the female lead isn't an ordinary woman who can need the help of a man. I think it looks a little like Princess Agents but I don't want to compare this two dramas. I definitely look forward to finish it.


Update: I didn't know I would like this kind of drama but I was wrong. This drama was very good,interesting and misterious. Everything was pleasant,I mean their clothes,their acting and so on. I was kinda sad because many characters were dying,but glad that it had a happy ending.I loved almost everything,but I wanted to slap Xao Tai everytime I saw her. From my point of view, I think that although they loved her they should not have allowed her to believe that whatever she would do would be forgiven, and I'm sure Gao Meng Fei could find another way to show his love. Anyway,if I started about their way of showing their love I think I could say almost the same of Ming He. You could say that if she truly loved him she should have told him and let him decide whethever he would stay and go,and be happy for everything he would choose.For the main leads I think it would be better without those misunderstandings.
I think the ending was good,even if I think a little rushed but I'm not professional so I could be wrong bur in rest it was a good drama and everyone should see it and sorry if I made some mistakes,english isn't my first language.

Sobbing

Wow,I think this k-drama beats everything I watched till now. I cried at every episode.This drama has all,comedy,tragedy,romance, everything. I cannot wait to see the next episodes so I can make a longer review. I'm dying here to see what's next. I'm glad that I gived it a chance so I could see this awesome drama.


Update: After all this waiting I could see the last eps. I think I cried enough to fill a river. This drama was so beautiful, just like the actors who played so well I do not think I cried so much to other dramas, but that was special. I've seen a lot of kdramas but that was different. There were many sad moments, but also many fun and happy. It's a relief for me that it had a happy ending.Wow,everyone who didn't watch this drama need to stop from whatever they do and watch this drama because it will be the most beautiful drama they would ever watch. I wish I could give 1000000 stars and my heart,but for now the only thing I can do is a good review, 10 stars and send it to others so I do not miss a drama like that, nor have words to describe it. Worth it

This drama is very very good. It is sad,funny,happy and even weird. The story line is good and their chemistry aswell. One of the best dramas I've ever seen. This drama took my heart completely and I do not know if another drama will be able to compete. The moment I saw the drama I was very happy and curious why it would follow and always with a smile on my lips when we saw them together. Like other dramas that have awakened my expectations, this drama will always remain in my mind and heart as one of the best and most beautiful dramas I've ever seen and that I will always see when I'm sad. I just hope I can get through this beautiful drama without taking a few weeks to revisit it in my mind.

Update: It had the best and most beautiful end of what I saw. Everyone has made dreams come true and have remained friends until the end. I'm really gonna miss it. Seriously, this was the best the drama I've seen so far. I loved her and I still love her and it will surely stay in my heart. I really complained of happiness when I saw everyone together again and very happy. I'm looking forward for their future dramas together.

This drama is very good because there are many aspects similar to real life, such as the fact that there are many strong women in reality but are still seen as weak or the discrimination that occurs both in the family and in society,the woman being seen most of the time by the bottom. I didn't expect to like this

This succeeded all of my expectations. It was already good just based on the fact that I didn't drop it after finishing the first episode but it was good and it kept getting better. It might be also that the female lead wasn't as annoying as other female leads from cdramas, the female lead that is immature, always gets in trouble and doesn't absolutely anything. Did she need him to save her almost everytime ? Yes but I loved those moments. I was living for possessive Dongfang Qinqang. Also she was smart and she knew when she needed to be serious.
I think I should structure my review so I don't forget anything but :
characters : We'll start with the main couple. I loved them. You know you have to first forget about what dramas they did before cus Esther Yu and Dylan Wang did an amazing job here. The acting, the emotions, the chemistry. Those moments when he would drop everything and go to her because she was hurt ? All those moments in which he would choose her over everything?
This drama has made sympathize with every character that I disliked, Dayin, Changfeng which I'm sorry buddy you didn't anything, I just didn't like you, even Rong Hao. Everyone. That shows how good all of them were.
Now onto the plot I don't have anything bad to say about it, it was so good, I loved that there wasn't any denying of their feelings, especially from him cus in some dramas you'd see the main couple denying their feelings a lot, like a lot. There wasn't any tom and jerry here, like one of them hiding from the other for years ( cough General and I like for real 13 episodes ?! ) . It had the basic of trope of the female lead weak and hidden that at the end turns out to be some powerful goddess, but they've made it work. They were two people in love with each other that couldn't be together and something always would happen. I was hesitant at first cus I thought I wouldn't be that interesting for me if it was only a romance, but it was as I said amazing, brilliant even.
Is there something else I should add here beside plot and characters I don't think so ? I would say something about some of the others characters but I tend to not memories the characters names. Even the male lead, I remember him as Wooden head mostly.
Rewatch value I would say not a lot, not because it wasn't that good but I don't have the time to rewatch it as I plan to watch at least two drama, maybe even three hopefully before uni starts cus I don't think I'll even have time to breath after. I might rewatch scenes from it or make myself a playlist with my favorite scenes to rewatch.

Best cdrama of 2019

I think this will be the best c-drama for 2019 for me. First I have to say that the first 45 episodes este very good,but everything became confusing for me at the end. I didn't understand if he died or not because it seemed sudden. I don't complaint the fact that they changed the ending because I didn't read the novel but the way it was taken it seemed poorly. But this time the ending will not change my opinion about this drama because till the end everything was very beautiful to see. The female lead who was strong and didn't need anyone,of couse till she lost her powers,the male lead who loved her unbelievably and their chemistry was awesome and the support cast was extremely good. From the supporting cast I loved especially Seventeen for her power and I don't know the fact that she was a little imature bur at the same time mature. I almost cried at the end when I thought she died and I was extremely happy that she didn't. Besides her,I loved everyone equally. I cannot wait a new drama where I can see Xu Kai and Bai Lu together again. I recommend to everyone to watch this drama even if the ending wasn't very good,because their chemistry,the acting,the script,the action were the best. I'll give to this drama 100000000000 out of 10 stars.

Loved it

So far this drama is so fvking good. Like the plot, the actors, the story line. It's so addicting and I don't kno, it keeps you interested in it.

Edit : this drama was like a rollercoaster of emotions. It had action, comedy, a sweet romance and cute side characters. And that cute little kid and his relationship with Lee Rang was adorable. I can say I got way too attached to Lee Rang, so I was crying everytime something happened to him, especially when he sacrificed himself so Lee yeon can reincarnate, and then when lee yeon watched the message lee rang left for him, god these were two moments to which I cried too much. I really loved their bromance, I mean you could see throughout the drama how much they loved each other.
I got to love him more than the main leads, which doesn't happen too often. I loved the chemistry of the main leads, and their love story, a fox who waited many lives so he can try to save his love and this time he succeeds.
I like it way more when every character is well portraied, when everyone has their own stories and own problems, I think it makes the drama more complex and you can understand way easier why that character does what he does.
I think it's enough as a review.

Again the female lead forgets how to fight once she falls in love

I'm happy to see this drama on viki even if I watched already on youtube. I can say it's definitely worth watching. The chemistry between the main characters is very beautiful and strong and how he can melt her heart,to see how she change from a smart and strategic woman into a woman who will do everything for him and vice-versa. SPOILER!!!Everyone who will watch this drama need to know that a moment you will find yourself going over episodes until their reunion. In my opinion this drama could have ended in episode 28 after their wedding because everything seemed like a happy ending but what I know.Otherwise, it's even worth seeing and those who are afraid you'll get back with their heart broken because of the end do not worry, it has a happy ending. It was very good even I wished to be more kisses between them and I'm still hopping for a season 2 because the end was too sad for me.

It was very beautiful taken and I loved the fact that the female lead was very strong and powerful and a badass and that she didn't need a man to protect her. It was very interesting to watch that you didn't care about anything else.After seeing other dramas and rewatching it I could see a big difference between them. The cast,the story, everything was so good. Before this drama I didn't think that I need to watch an c-drama with a lot of action and less romance but after starting it I knew I needed. Such a cute love story

The love story is so pure and beautiful and for both the main and the secondary characters. I can say that I waited to see the main actors in a series to be together from Oriental Odiseey and I can say that I'm pleased. I'm glad to see more emotion from Yan Mo because of his role in Oriental Odiseey. In this drama you can see many things that are related to reality. How in life there are many up and down situations and depends of us how we make it through. I think I loved every character equally. Before this I watched many other dramas of Wu Qian so I didn't believe I could love this drama more especially because I saw at the same time with this "The brighest star in the sky" so it was difficult to choose between them,but I think both were very good,but this drama had something,how to say it,different in a good way. I'm glad that I watched and I love it. And please don't write low reviews just because of the subtitles. I now is very hard to wait,but the subbers are working very hard and this reviews won't make the subbers work faster. This ratings based on subtitles because it will only make the rating for the drama drop.

Cried so much

this drama made me cry and laugh a lot. Everything was so beautiful. The chemistry between the main leads was great and the acting,plot,script was too.Besides, I loved Jennifer especially because it looked like a very strong woman, and it was,in my opinion but not the fact that she was fizical strong but the wait she could get over everything it happened even tough she wasn't a smiley person you could see that she cared about the people around her.. I also loved Chan and his friends and his uncle, all of them.The end was very beautiful, as everyone had the part of the happiness they deserved. I especially liked how character character has been developed along the way. This drama deserves the highest rating. I'm sorry I came to look at her so late, I missed something very good. Anyway, it's worth seeing by anyone. I loved her wholeheartedly. Sorry if I made some mistake,english is not my first language.

Lovely drama

It was cute but cringy at some parts and that was ok because the last episode made up for it.
I do have a problem with Hira's love for Kiroi though. I did doubt what he was feeling as some moments were weird. I shouldn't bring another series into this but I couldn't stop myself from comparing it with Miraculous and cat noir because of the romanitization of stalker behaviour. Him following Kiroi to the dance studio, him looking at that photo of him lovingly and then sleeping beside it, which by the way what were those noises about and if they were what I am thinking then I don't want to know. There were some other parts too but I don't wanna list them. But as Kiroi said : " Gross"
I must confess that I liked Kiroi's perspective more, or maybe because after that we kinda progressed more into their story.
Okay I think I talked enough about the characters, I liked the acting and the chemistry between the both of them, what I didn't like was Hira's obsessive behaviour. Oh to add here I liked the character development. Can I consider it that ? It was more prominent in Kiroi as he went from the cold guy in the first part, to a guy simply misunderstood who was actually very sensible and cute.
Now the story on the other hand was acceptable actually, it wasn't bullies to lovers more like these guy that seems cold on the outside and then a puppy that follows him everywhere and obeys him. And then we got to Kiroi's pov and we got to see another side of him and basically both were madly in love with each other but because of lack of communication they drifted apart, Kiroi wanted to be chased but instead he thought that Hira deleted his number and that kinda means rejection and Hira who thought that he didn't deserve him ( sounds like Heaven's official blessing ) because they were so different, but in the last episode they cleared everything up.
Does it make sense what I say ? English isn't my first language so I hope I didn't make any mistakes or invent new words or grammar rules.
All in all it was good, this review was just me wanting to express my dissatisfaction regarding Hira's feelings that would always cross the line between love and obsession cus if you go down that path, this wouldn't be a romance drama anymore, but a horror story. But I'm pretty sure fans of dark romance would still consider their story cute.

This felt like a breath of fresh air

First thing first I want to say that I while I consider this to be good representation, aro and ace are both spectrums so the definition may differ from person to person. That's why sublabels exist. But it's worth watching.
Anyway this review will be long as it will be less about the drama and more about how much I relate it cus you know, I love watching romance dramas, I've actually finished recently Love between fairy and devil and Mr. Unlucky has no choice but to kiss, but while these two were making me giggle and kick my feet everytime the main couple would touch even a little, this gave me a sense of calmness. Like it feels so refreshing to be able to relate to the main characters as it's so hard to find dramas or books with aroace characters and especially good representation but anyway I'm gonna start talking the drama now :
I loved this. There were so many things I could relate to right from the start and this is actually one thing that I'll talk more about and that is the drama's take on amatonormativity. It's basically the assumption that everyone has to or will fall in love and be in a romantic relationship, actually a monogamous heterosexual relationship as amatonormativity is connected to heteronormativity. Basically everything that strands away from what is considered normal in our modern society. No one understanding what aroace means ( also because aroace is still unknown to many, while you can say you're gay and people would at least now what you're talking about, they won't know what aroace is ), but also not accepting it and still thinking that they could still be in a relationship * cough Sakuko's mom and Kazu-kun* because no matter how much you want to understand us, trying to connect absolutely everything to romance won't help you understand anything as being aroace in most cases means the complete opposite of romance. Also everyone being like oh you're gonna find the right one, you'll find your soulmate, you'll get married and have kids. This shows how affected society is and how it refuses to strand away from the norm and accept that sometimes not being "normal" isn't something bad and if everyone wants to, then that weird and unimaginable thing can be considered normal. Just that not everyone wants to. The drama shows also how gender roles and in a way, their family also goes against what's considered normal in a family and I'm not talking only about them having a family without romantic feelings involved but also about how the woman is supposed to cook and clean and things like that. Also that part when Takahashi said that " You can understand having sex without romantic feelings, but you cannot understand that you can be in love without having sex ?" I don't think this is exactly how he said it tho but I loved it. I loved every moment when he would get a little in his head about being aroace.
I could relate the most with Sakuko, just that she is way happier and positive than me and I haven't been in a relationship ever in my life. But not being able to understand what love is, not liking touching, being pissed off when someone tells us that this guy friend that we have is our boyfriend. Oh society how much I despise you sometimes for the amount of times I had to explain that this guy was my friend not my boyfriend. I would say this has something to do with heteronormativy more as in my country you could say you have a friend( feminine form) and everyone won't think otherwise, but if you say you have a friend ( masculine form), everyone starts to create little fantasies in their heads about how you to are together. Another thing that I could relate to was that I can't understand what flirting means either.
Yeah I think I talked way more about me rather than the drama. But I can talk a lot about the drama too.
First of all, I think I would've given it 10 stars even before watching it just based on the premise like two aroace people being the main characters ? It sounded good already. It had this vibe, like it was colourful and fresh in a way, I don't know how to explain it but it was visually pleasing. All of the actors were good and I think I talked enough about the aroace part of the drama. The rest of the things that I could talk about are things that aro and ace people had to deal with like them being considered weird or that they have some kind of problem. Anyway the drama was cute and funny at parts and it was a little angsty too, something I didn't predict. I cried a little at the end when it showed everyone being happy.
All in all I love this. I kinda want to learn how to make edits just so I can make some with this drama and share them with the world just so everyone will know about this and watch it. I'm hoping that more dramas like this will exist in the future.

Adorable

When I first started it, I was surprised by the fact it was set in the modern world because I thought it was some wuxia, but then I got it. It was something new to see the roles between men and women changed, but I liked it nonethless. I didn't quite liked the way QianQian and Chuchu we're talking about Han Chuo as he was an object. I got the fact that she felt guilty for her sister, but she should've taken Han Chuo's feelings into account before making those plans.
Still I kinda liked the way QianQian's character was made, childish and immature, but serious and loyal when it was needed.
Edit : okay I'm at 19 ep and I understand testing her kungfu skills or whatever but that's not an excuse for almost raping her
