Cute, Short, and has a good meaning?
To be honest, I'm writing this review kind of a while after I watched the drama special. I just came back to notice that there weren't very many reviews on this page. I do remember that I liked the drama special, but it also wasn't anything groundbreaking. It's something really good to watch when you're bored or lonely or down in the dumps.
The main characters are pretty interesting. The girl is kind of like the cliche drama protagonist girl: she's not well-off, she's optimistic, she's outspoken. In the synopsis, it said she was a comedian who wasn't funny, but to be more truthful, she's just a plain, boring person when she tries comedy. All of her jokes never land because they aren't original and there isn't anything physically different about her either. BUT she thinks that changing her name to something funny (Gorilla) would maker her stand out, which of course, is just her grasping at straws. The male lead is stoic, stubborn, and has absolutely ZERO social skills. He's waaaaaaaay too honest for his own good and says things that may be true, but also are definitely NOT what the other person wants to hear. And he's also kinda really prejudiced at first against her.
The story was pretty cute, but, like I said earlier, it wasn't the most amazing drama special. I don't think I would rewatch it, but it wasn't a waste of my time either.
