House of Boring
The only episode that was interesting...and only at the very end...was episode 12. I sped through 95% of the entire series. There was just something about this series that just didn't sit well in entertainment value. I felt like I was watching an American Soap Opera and I hate those. The intrigue was not intriguing. The love triangle was confusing and stupid. I found it hard to believe that Gun would be attracted to Pitch (but that was more believable than the stupid love triangle). Who was Sun and what exactly was his significance to the show?!? The idol stalker turned actress turned idol manager...what?Needless to say, I fell like I wasted my time. Weha and Wayu were sweet and their chemistry was spot on but they weren't enough to redeem the show. I hope those 2 have a show of their own sometime. I even liked their cop/robber bit. Anyway, don't watch this.

Wish I could watch it for the first time, again!
If you are like me and love 2gether, Still 2gether, Semantic Error, Mr. Heart and the like, you will love My School President as much as I did. It's sweet, sweet, sweet. The PDA isn't over the top, the OST is FANTASTIC, the actors are so adorbs! Their relationship from beginning to end is not toxic in any way. N'Forth's smile sends a blast of sunshine through the screen every.single.time. N'Gemini acting shy and his sly smiles are too cute. This is a feel good, sweet, non-complicated, non-toxic, fun sound track drama that is not cheesy, over acted, or classless. Watch this when you need a smile.

Don't Watch
I watched this because of LeeLong and Run. There's not a real story line...it's just all over the place. I couldn't tell one day from another. There were 2 good points to this drama but they don't save it at all: 1) the friends stand up for and support each other and 2) the community/neighborhood seemed to rally around the kid who's mom abandoned him. Still not worth watching.I love sweet dramas. Even the ones that are so sweet they'll give you cavities. I also don't mind the "slow burn" dramas as long as the chemistry between the characters can carry it. This was so disjointed and unconnected that both the sweetness and slow burn were lost. There really wasn't good chemistry between Run and Tiger.
Seriously, don't waste your time.

Was that really the end?
I despise, seriously despise, loose ends at the end of anything I watch. I almost screamed at the movie screen when I watched "Into the Spider-Verse (Miles Morales) 2" when they flashed that stupid...to be continued...at the end. This drama was a mess from beginning to end. What I liked: 1) an established, long term relationship 2) seeing Gun Napata and Bhu in another drama and 3) Dena's character 4) Dr. Prame and the nurse
What I disliked: 1) was there a plot or story line? 2) the messy...everything but especially the ending 3) the cowardice of Mai 4) the inability to perceive that a high schooler is desperate for your, a 25+ year old, attention 4) the so called story was all over the place, bouncing between some weird cafe, an established "older" couple and some high school kids exploring their first crush...huh?
Waste of time.

Different Story Line
It had a different story line. Held true to Korean BLs and was short and sweet...so the plot seems rushed but that doesn't bother me. I enjoy the quick story lines instead of a drawn out for 30-40 episode drama like the Chinese make. It also had the lip press instead of a real kiss but they can't all be passionate like MaxTul or MewGulf or sweet like Semantic Error or the Cherry Blossom (Tae Song and Hae Bom) kdrama.I Liked:
the parallel worlds plot
the location/views (beautiful)
the length of the episodes
the number of episodes
the director character's smile :-)
the delay in sharing the back story
Didn't Like:
the police scene...not realistic at all
the kiss scenes...lip press, don't waste the scene and just have a sweet hug

Interesting Story Line
I didn't read the description before I watched the drama and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a typical office romance. I enjoyed it very much and love the how short k bls are. I find the fantasy aspect of the story line to be fascinating since things like that aren't shown in US shows. I recommend this drama if you are looking for something atypical (not a high school or college or typical romance bl). This is another one that I can go back and watch again when I want something quick that doesn't take forever to watch. It's not as sweet as Semantic Error or Be My Boyfriend (not a bl but a SUPER sweet, short kd) but it was entertaining and different. I thoroughly enjoy the mini-dramas.

Glad I Watched It
I'm glad I watched it. I probably won't watch it again. I thought the light hearted humor mixed in with the heavy hitting story line was well done. I know others felt like it cheapened the plot but I appreciated the laughs. The acting was excellent because I really disliked the bad guys and rooted for the good guys and only good acting can suck you into the story like that.I don't like endings that aren't clean so the ending left a LOT to be desired. What happened with the gold? Do the leads end up together? What about the rest of the building residents?

Don't hate me...
I am not a fan of Saint. I've tried, honestly. I'm not being sarcastic or ugly...there are actors you don't like as well. So, Fighter/Tutor was distracting and uninteresting. I probably would have enjoyed their story if someone else was in Saint's roll. It's not just this drama but when he was cast along with Perth...I thought Perth was amazing and Saint wasn't. This is just my opinion as reviews are supposed to be.So you don't hate me too much...I adored the cafe owner! His role (and his acting) was spot on and I loved every time he was on screen.
However, SaifahZon stole the show or redeemed this series for me. I'm thankful for the spinoff that had them as the center of attention.

Don’t like CDramas but…
I’ll be blunt: Cdramas are boring because the story is drawn out for 30-50 episodes so they have to fill the time with useless fluff. Normally I’ll skip 5 episodes here and 5 there without missing any of the important story lines. However, every once in a while, I get pleasantly surprised. In this case, I wasn’t pleasantly surprised, I was blown away!I adored nearly everything about this drama. It was my first time watching Dilbra and YangYang and they…WOW. The story was relatable: finding a way to make your relationship work in your own way. Not everyone has a traditional relationship. I watched every minute of every episode and looked forward to the next one! That is the highest praise that a CDrama can get from me and only a few have achieved it.
If you are like me and don’t care for CDramas…give this one a chance!

The Ending…
The HIStory Series has been enjoyable overall and this started out along the same path. However, like most reviewers, the ending was heart wrenching and confusing.Every story cannot end with a white wedding, I get that. In real life people die unexpectedly in various ways. It’s horrible, awful and heartbreaking. The sweet side of the tragic death is the determination of his partner to fulfill his dreams…but it’s to the detriment of his own life moving forward, and that can be reality too. People get stuck in grief I understand that.
This is the part that was confusing: who was the “twin”? Where did he come from? Why does he suddenly appear? There’s no explanation or reasoning at all! I ran through as many scenarios as I could think of: the main character sees ghosts, the “twin” is the original character but with memory loss from the accident, etc., etc. In conclusion, this is another good HIStory series, heartbreaking but good, except the totally confusing and weird ending.

It's a musical
I don't know why I didn't realize it before I watched it but this is a musical. I watched this simply because of Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Youp...I'm glad I did. It did not disappoint at all. I absolutely love how amazingly talented Ji Chang Wook is! He's a romance actor, an action actor and now an actor with a musical under his belt. He is unbelievably underrated in my opinion.Hwang In Youp, I cannot wait to watch this young man continue to star in dramas for many years to come. I haven't watched "Why Her?" yet but it's on my list. He did such a great job in "True Beauty" that that he swayed the audience to root for him to win the girl away from Cha Eun Woo. :-)
Anyway, this is a treat all the way around. You will enjoy it if you like musicals.

So Good! Watch it!
Loved the scenery...it was nice to be out of the big city. The views were stunning. I loved the houses that were used in this series...so different from the apartments/dorms of so many other dramas. Loved the story line...I am a sucker for the "who dun it" plot (crime thriller). I make it my goal to figure out the ending before the ending and I failed miserably on this one which makes it so much better! I adore Max and Tul. They truly appear 100% comfortable around each other which helps the viewers to get sucked into the show. I thought Max looked great with his straight hair and death stare (chin down, eyes up). Tul showed more of his adorable side in this one. He looked at Max so softly, sweet and with a bit of "come here, baby" in his eyes. His character was way more vulnerable that his other role so it was a fun change. The other actors nailed their parts as well. I appreciated the innocence of ThatSorn's relationship despite That's lifestyle. Nam slayed her role (seriously, how do you prepare for a role like that?!?).The only cons I have for this is Tan/Dam didn't remind Bun about their run in when they were at university and he never told him the meaning of the pink lily. What does it mean?!?
All in all, this goes on my must watch list and will be one I return to.

Opinions are like armpits...here's mine
So I've adored JaFirst since TharnType 2. Ja's stoic, serious, mature character silently loving the misguided and acting out First's character. Then in Don't Say No, more of that (still adoring them) but with First showing up in that amazing red suit in the last episode...whew! First killed that scene (and the twins rocked their characters in that scene too). I watched Don't Forget Me, or whatever it's called, as well and enjoyed their slightly different characters in it. So watching Be Mine Superstar was a no brainer for me. I've already watched through episode 7 and wanted to come leave a comment only to read the onslaught of negative reviews. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and a comment section gives freedom to express those opinions but my heart hurt for Bosston, Ja and First after just reading a few.Bosston: I thought you did great in Between Us and was excited to see you again in this drama. IMO your character reminded me of the many secondary, advice and encouragement giving roles that Khaotung has played. You gave your character the same sincerity, generosity and friendship as he does but with a bit of comic relief thrown in on occasion. Well done, handsome!!! You and your doctor are adorable.
Ja: Can I just say that I'm happily surprised by the innocent, happy, cute character you portrayed?!? After all the seriousness of your other characters...to watch you smile, laugh, bounce happily, and be playful has been so much fun! As always, your chemistry with First is great.
First: Wow! Your character is graceful, charming, mature and beautiful. Per usual, your chemistry with Ja is amazing. There's not much that can top the red suit entrance at the end of Don't Say No but I sure am enjoying seeing you play a different type of character. Fighting!

Sweet as Sugar!
This is going up there with 2gether and Still 2gether. Super sweet with little to no PDA (not that I have a problem with sweet kisses or anything). You could literally watch the actors get more comfortable with each other with each passing episode. I enjoyed the age difference (and how it almost matches with reality) and the waiting that goes with such a gap.I enjoyed the clueless, straightforwardness of Noey's character and the fearful courage of Thi's character. I've never said this before but watch the end credits of each episode...there's a point to them believe it or not! :-) Finally, the ending was super cute and tied everything up very neatly (which I love).
