Oh my! How can I even start writing reviews about this drama?!

At first, I wasn’t even interested in medical dramas, and plus I never even watched one. I was then met by tweets and posts about how good the second one is, and how could I watch the second one first then the first one? So I decided to try and watch the first season.

The first episodes was immediately tense, but I don’t feel really bothered by it surprisingly. As I move on to a further episode, I felt this feeling I rarely felt when I watch dramas. I couldn’t go to sleep without knowing what happens next because I was so addicted and drawn to the drama. I fell in love with Kang Dong Ju and was so interested with Yoon Seo Jung’s character. I was drawn to the friendships and I felt nothing can replace this drama. Kim Sabu, Oh Myung Sim, Park Eun Tak, Manager Jang, Doctor Nam, President Yeo, Do In Beom, Woo Yeon Hwa, you have my heart!

This drama is really different from the rest! There weren’t those cliche love triangles, there weren’t that much of a kissing scene but it still warms your heart after watching them. You will immediately ship Doctor Kang and Doctor Yoon even without seeing them doing lovey dovey scenes in the drama. That’s how powerful the cast’s acting is . The music was incredible and it really fits to all the scenes. The acting was incredible as well and the story is excellently written.

This drama makes you cry, feel inspired, feel annoyed and also laugh. I hope the producers and the writers bring back the S1 casts and reunite them all together in the S3. This drama is GOLD. 1000000000/10 ⭐️

Truly an amazing and a heartwarming story! From what I read before watching the movie, it was a true story back in 2008. The movie isn’t boring at all, and I find it quite amusing to see a court-themed-movie with a hint of comedy.

Park Hyung Sik played his role very well, the other casts too. The story inspires people to not judge people too fast. It teaches us to see the bigger picture of everything before making decisions.

I think considering a jury’s decision is one of Korea’s best decision. According to the movie, it shows us that not all pathologists could be trusted. So, before deciding, make sure that we’ve checked every detail there is and make sure every opinion is heard.

Cried a bit in the end, so prepare tissues just in case!

Overall, a 9/10! ⭐️

Now this… this is a real bromance content!

I was debating with myself: should I rate this an 8.5 or a 9? When watching the 6th episode, I thought a 9 is a little too high, since I’m not really a fan of reality shows. This is my first adventure trip show, and I can’t really say I enjoyed everything here. Some parts are a little boring for my taste—like the driving parts or the animal hunting parts—but I just can’t skip those scenes! The casts were too good to be skipped, really! My favorite part of this show is the cooking parts. Oh how I love Chef Bong! Every night and every morning, these 4 boys would gather around like hungry hyenas cooking with whatever ingredients they have left, but would turn out like a masterpiece! Love love love every second of it!

After watching this show, I begin to think beyond what I watched. All this time, watching shows, I would just enjoy what was shown in the show. Never have I ever thought about how hard it is for the camera man, who had to follow around the casts everywhere, unable to enjoy the trip. These boys, are super thoughtful, and super kind, and I’m inspired by them when watching this show. They showed true bromance, and I can really feel their love for each other. It was those simple things they do for each other that touched my heart, and I’m so grateful that I get to see how kind they are as a normal person, not a celebrity. The feeling is so real in this show: you feel happy when they’re happy—like when they started the trip in the first place, or when they finally arrived at Victoria Falls, or when they eat something so incredibly delicious, or even when they fart around each other, and you feel sad when they are too—like when they poured their hearts out every night and that one time at Dune 45, or when they officially finished the shoot and had to go back home. I was so sad it was over, and I realized they wouldn’t get to meet with each other that often anymore.

I also want to give extra appreciation to the editors who add in all the captions. It was super informative, super entertaining at times, and super duper inspiring at the end. I have a soft spot for great endings, and that’s the main reason why I decided to rate this show a 9 instead of an 8.5. The captions, the touching flashback, the real bromance, what can I ask for more? This show healed my longing for Reply 1988, and I have to say this was my comfort show. After a long day, I just get to lay down in my bed watching these 4 boys enjoy their trip in Africa, and pretending that I’m there with them. This was a great great show I really recommend with you all! 감사하다!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Law genre at its best!

When I finished the first episode, I immediately thought of the similarity between this drama and the variety show ‘Busted’. This drama is basically the drama version and the longer version of Busted in my opinion. So if anyone of you loves that variety show, you definitely need to check this out!

There are a few things that surprised me while watching this drama (Fyi, I didn’t open MDL or even other links about this drama. All I know is that this drama has great ratings and many people loved it. I knew nothing about the storyline and only knew some of the casts that was going to be in it. And thankfully, I didn’t encounter that much spoilers on social media about this drama. So in conclusion, I had a little to no information about this drama before watching it.):

1. The one that surprises me most: The casts
Please don’t open MDL before watching this, because it’ll ruin the surprise (and a plot twist in some later episodes). I’m telling you this here to warn you all about the brilliant plot twist that left me speechless when I watched the episode.

2. The storyline
I’ve never expected this drama to be fully about murder mystery. Don’t get me wrong, I’m basically in love with anything about murder mysteries, but this drama just brought it to a whole new level. This drama doesn’t show you the perfect protagonist that could solve all the hidden mysteries flawlessly, or that one protagonist who always works alone and doesn’t need any help from others, but instead it shows you how the the main protagonist (Professor Yang Jong Hoon) really needs the help from his fellow professor (Professor Kim Eun Suk), his silly lawyer (Park Geun Tae), the funny photocopy guy (Sung Dong Il) and most importantly all his students (Kang Sol A, Kang Sol B, Han Jun Hwi, Seo Ji Ho, Jeon Ye Seul, Min Bok Gi and Cho Ye Bum). What’s better is how the drama shows you a super dedicated teacher who’s willing to do anything just to help all his students know better about the law. He’s discipline and unpredictable—he doesn’t care about anything else besides stating his point of teaching law to his students.

3. The genre
I expected this drama to be dark and serious, since most law dramas tend to be long and philosophical, and full of theories that doesn’t really stick to my head that long, but this drama managed to bring some good comedies in between the scenes—it was short, but it was rewarding. The first few episodes was pretty hard to watch actually, the dialogue were full of theories and all the actors were basically rapping all those theories out. But as you go on, this drama explained all those difficult theories by applying them to real cases where the viewers could understand the meaning of those theories easier. That’s what I love about this drama, and this is what differs them with other law dramas.

I’m a sucker for friendship dramas. This drama doesn’t really focus on the friendship, but the way all the characters team up to defend one another is just crazy great! Sol B’s character development was just executed perfectly, and she officially becomes one of my favorite characters here in this drama. This drama teaches you to be fair and just, and they teaches you (especially those who work/will work for the law) to not be affected emotionally while dealing with the law. Don’t let your emotions affect your decisions. This drama shows you the law from another perspective, and it was very exciting to watch!

The reason why I couldn’t give this drama an excellent score is because some of the scenes couldn’t really get my attention. I always loved the scenes where Sol A, Jun Hwi, Sol B, Ji Ho, Ye Seul, Bok Gi, Ye Bum is together, and all the scenes involving them coming up with a great plan, but the scenes with Ko Hyeong Su and the flashbacks with Seo Byeong Ju is rather boring for me. Nonetheless, the court scenes and the friendship scenes were super duper great! Great casting, great story and the cinematography was also spot-on! Overall, a 9.5/10 for me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“First love doesn’t necessarily have to be the first person.”

This movie is cute. It has breathtakingly beautiful scenes that were shot super perfectly. The casts were all so perfect, the main leads were full of chemistry, and they have the most beautiful visuals ever. Gong Yoo, Im Soo Jung, did a super awesome job in this movie.

However, it was a little confusing to understand what the directors and screenwriters have in mind. They make Gong Yoo play two characters, but at the same time, the main conflict, “Kim Jong Wook” isn’t his character after all. That was hard to understand at first, but thank God for MDL comments I get to finally understand what it meant.

The music. GOSH! It was beautiful!!! It has that Broadway musical vibes and OH HOW I LOVE seeing the scene of Im Soo Jung playing as the main actress in the musical! The music fits perfectly to every scene. Dreamy and romantic! I love it! Very very much!

The ending was super duper adorable! It was fluffy and cute, full of sweet moments of the main couple. And in the end, it was shown that fate or destiny will always find its way.

I had a great time watching this movie, and on top of that I enjoye watching Gong Yoo in a romcom movie! Overall, a 9/10!

Cuuute love story! ♥️

This was my first Kai Ko movie. I was interested in ‘You Are The Apple Of My Eye’, but I knew it was going to end sad, so I decided not to watch. Then I found this movie, bright coloured poster and seems fluffy enough to be a happy ending movie. I immediately watched it. And, I wasn’t disappointed at all.

The storyline of the movie seems a little weird. There are parts that seems to be edited out that made the movie felt incomplete in the mid-parts. But overall, I liked it. It was fluffy, no serious angst, although the conflicts are a little absurd. It delivers good messages though, don’t dwell on the past too long. Count 1-100, if the things you expect still doesn’t come out, move on.

Kai Ko and Jian Man Shu acted perfectly here! They portrayed such a lovable character and I totally love them! The old guy was also funny, so I guess he acted his role perfectly too.

So, overall a nice movie I recommend. If you want fluffiness without any serious angst, and cute scenes to make you smile and flutter, this is definitely for you! An 8.5/10 ⭐️

I came across this movie on tvNmovies and I was only interested to continue since I know that Chanyeol and Moon Ga Young’s gonna be there. I wasn’t expecting much from this movie, all I ever knew was the fighting scene so I thought that this was going to be comedy. But boooy, I was wrong! It’s a family movie that would leave you wondering of what happens next, and would make you tear-up in split seconds.

If you’re watching for Chanyeol, he’s more like a cameo, so don’t expect much from him. But if you do watch because of him, watch it until the end, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. The storyline has its own incredible plot twist, and I’m totally in love with it. I’m not really sure if it’s a plot twist or it’s already explained in the beginning because I stumbled upon this movie when it’s showing in the mid-part already...

The music, I’M IN LOVE!!!! There’s EXO’s ‘Don’t Go’ which is one of my favorite songs of all time! Aaand the instrumentals were just outstanding for me! Loved it!

Overall, a great movie I recommend! Prepare tissues for the end! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

a MASTERPIECE. enough said.

I’ve watched several titles of prosecutors, police officers, lawyers, but this drama, would be the most memorable for me. The male lead, who was the prosecutor, wasn’t “perfect” like what several other dramas often characterized. He had a super painful past, and he’s not always correct in every of his predictions. He failed several times, but got back up again and finally succeeded.

Although we didn’t see much of Hwang Si-Mok celebrating his success with the team, I’m super duper satisfied just seeing him smile at Han Yeo-Jin, it totally warms my heart. I hope, on the S2, we can see more of Hwang Si-Mok and Han Yeo-Jin scenes together! Great drama, super great storyline (although it’s somehow complicated with so much character names), excellent casts, and lastly, an OST that really matched.

Totally recommended, a 10/10 ⭐️ Can’t wait for the 5th season, Si-Mok-ah! See you there! ;)

TOTALLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL OF YOU IF YOU NEED A SUPER SWEET (but not cringey) MOVIE TO WATCH! ;)

What can I say except AMAZING?! You’ll definitely smile, laugh and cry watching this movie, so prepare tissues you guys! Our Times would be my very first full-length romance movie I’ve ever watch my whole entire life and I love every second of it! I wasn’t actually the type to love something lovey-dovey or super fluffy because it can sometimes cringe me out, so I prefer not to watch it. Same goes for this movie, I was told that this movie was SUPERB, but I kept preventing myself to watch it, until today, after all the exhausting hours of school, I decided to watch it.

Darren Wang is super dreaaamy in this movie, ugh, I can’t even stand watching all those sweet scenes without squeaking like a little girl! <3 The acting was very excellent. What made me love this movie even more, is the level of relatable-ness to myself. Since I am a high school student myself, I can mostly relate to Lin Truly who’s insecure about herself, a hardcore fangirl, and also someone who can’t manage to confess her true hidden feelings for her crush.

Overall, a 100/10 for me. A truly-super-recommended movie for all of you who needs some little fluffiness during this boring quarantine season and also a dizzying school days! ❤️

Two words to describe the movie’s theme : father’s love.

I decided to watch this movie with a thought that it would be tense and serious, a law movie with a plot twist. But, as the movie go further, it began to be more and more likely to be a family movie, don’t get me wrong.. I enjoyed it! A super rich old man with a daughter, engaged with a mid-aged singer, the daughter hated her and then got involved with a murder case of his own fiancee.

The actors and actresses did very well in this movie, bravo! The story of the movie itself may seem a little complicated (you’ll get confused on who to suspect), and the character development could seem a little unclear for me. The ending is not really a happy-ending, but it’s super heartwarming and you’ll end up getting satisfied.

Overall, a 8.5/10 ⭐️, it may seem boring, but it’s totally not! Trust me ;)

I was expecting a little more mystery and a little more action from the movie, actually. The first part to the climax was actually pretty good, but is a little complicated. Honestly, in the middle I was planning to not continue, but I was curious of who stole the little girl, and when I found out who, I was kinda disappointed because he wasn’t that evil after all the hard work.

I was touched by how pure Kim Joong San and Kong Gil Yong were at the end. How they managed to stay grateful without the “fame and credits”. It was shown at the end, when you stay low and humble, you’ll be given someone else to help you, eventhough it may not be someone famous, the media and all.

Inspired after watching the movie, 8/10 ⭐️

Eventhough the first four episodes could be a little boring for starters, it gets better and better til the end. So don’t skip this drama because honestly, you’ll regret it. And for those of you who is still in dilemma whether you’ll be watching or not because of the ending, don’t worry, it’s a happy end.

I never thought this drama could bring so much hidden emotions I never felt before when watching other dramas. I cried easily but never cried when watching the opening episodes (1-4) but watching this I realized how fast I was to cry. The drama was quite sad for me, but also happy at the same time. It shows beautiful goodbyes frequently in every episodes and I’m very satisfied with how all the “main characters” in the story each has their own stories to tell and somehow managed to relief and let go of their pasts eventually.

To sum this all up, I’d like to praise all of the directors for directing all the casts perfectly; the writers for writing such a beautiful story; and last but not least, the casts who played their role beyond excellently.

9.5/10 ⭐️

My greatest companion throughout my self-quarantine!

When I first heard that I was tested positive for Covid and had to basically distance myself from everyone in my family, I was a little stressed out. I needed something light and fluffy to watch, something that could make me forget about all the bad things I had in my mind. My Roommate is a Gumiho is the first ongoing drama I watched in a very long time. I stopped watching ongoing dramas, but I knew I had to start watching one again for My Roommate is a Gumiho.

I wasn’t really interested on watching this drama, but as I saw my brother laughing out loud and getting invested in this drama, I had to start watching it too. So I started this right away on my first day of self-quarantine. And, it CLEARLY succeeds in making me laugh out loud! I watched this as I eat, as I rest, I just binged this drama all day long. The first 8 episodes were just epic and funny and everything nice! I just loved every characters here, from the famous Lee Dam and Mr Gumiho, Hye Sun, Jae Jin and Soo Kyung.

The 8 episodes were completed so fast, and I had to wait for more episodes. That’s when I decided to watch Reply 1988 as well, since I’m just so so so in love with Hyeri’s incredibly natural acting. Watching Reply 1988 with all the famous actors like Ryu Jun Yeol and Park Bo Gum acting with Hyeri made it seem like Jang Ki Yong’s acting wasn’t that great. I continued watching Episode 11-14, and my interest in this drama slowly died down, there were no longer much funny scenes, and Jang Ki Yong’s acting was a little too stiff for my taste. This wasn’t what I signed up for! What kept me going was the side characters being more interesting than the main couple. Jang Ki Yong and Hyeri had excellent chemistry, they look like a great couple indeed, but compared to the lively Hyeri being so natural in her acting, the flat Jang Ki Yong’s acting doesn’t look that good, let alone the fact that he had to look a little sick for the storyline in some episodes. The two female bullies, Da Young and Seo Jin’s acting was not so great either, but it doesn’t really bother me since they were not the main roles.

The cameos here were terrific! Those who watched Reply 1988 would be so thrilled watching this drama. And the other cameos were great as well! Many famous actors and actresses appeared in this drama, and it was interesting finding them here!

I really hoped for a nice ending, and I definitely got one! I finished Episode 15-16 yesterday and today, and it finally picked up my spirits back! Putting Kang Hanna, Kim Do Wan and Park Kyung Hye as important characters is a really excellent decision! Choi Woo Sung and Weki Meki’s Doyeon were great support characters as well! They made the drama even better and the scenes a lot funnier and entertaining. The funny scenes came back, and all the fluffiness came back. Thank God I was so used to tvN making a whole new conflict last minute! The last episode made up for the few boring episodes and to sum up, this drama was a great watch! The OSTs were super great as well! Overall, a 9/10, truly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This movie had the best rom-com I’ve ever seen in a Korean movie so far. There’s plenty amount of fluffy, sweet and romantic romance in this movie, but there are also hilarious moments that were amazingly stupid, but funny! I liked how this movie turned out. When I first saw the poster, I thought it was about a couple catching the bad guys, however this movie is actually about a cop falling in love with the criminal! Never have I thought this movie would give the rom-com vibes I’ve searched for in Korean romcom movie! Rom-com in an action movie? This movie made it possible. Those genres were poured out perfectly in this movie. Everyone did a great job acting out their characters, and the music were great too!

If you’re searching for an anti-mainstream sweet rom-com, this is definitely for you! Silly, sweet, romantic, super duper hilarious. Totally recommended! Overall, a 9.5/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

WOULDN’T HAVE WATCHED IT IF IT WASN’T FOR DARREN WANG...

This movie served some REAL VISUALS of Darren Wang! What’s better is that, Jackson Wang’s ‘Papillon’ was made as an OST! #ahgasehere :) But I must say that this movie disappoint me at some point. I expected this movie to be the fun and comedic spy type of movie, but the storyline was rather absurd.

I’ve seen many reviews saying that this movie would be a little comedic, but I don’t find myself laughing for the whole 2 hours. The CGI effects were also too much... The acting skills, the storyline, was just not meant for me. The non-Chinese actors and actresses were not that good in my opinion.

Overall, a 5.5/10 ⭐️ I mean, who’s not down for Agent Darren Wang, right? ;)
