You don't have to break up, because it's not even worth starting at all ...
7.6 rating? It's way over-rated.After watching 4-5 episodes, I've already thought to myself, WTF?
It makes no sense at all. Would you date your dead brother's ex girlfriend?
I get it, the brother's fiance didn't like the FL, and family didn't like her, but still, wtf?
I have to admit, it's rubbish ass script, paired with SHK's worst-ever act, I still wanted to know what happened in the end. I shouldn't have cared. Like most K-Dramas, the ending was very predictable. I should have just jumped to the last episode, and watched it at 5x speed just to see how it all ends.
I'd like to have my 16 hours of life back.
I should have broken up with this drama after 4-5 episodes, or better, not even start the series at all.
Shame on SHK for choosing such a bad script, and such a bad performance.

Absolute Masterpiece
Everything is perfect. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but I'm definitely going to rewatch this series again after the end of "Forever and Ever".The main leads' acting and chemistry - simply put it, MESMERIZING, absolutely believable.
Cinematography, sceneries, etc. made to perfection.
For those who understand Mandarin, the language used, is very formal, as compared to the sequel "Forever and Ever", which is a lot more casual. The sceneries and palace shots, etc are way better, more beautiful than in the sequel, too.
This drama is an instant classic, although I'd have hoped for a different ending, not to spoil it. I didn't cry/drown my eyes like many other viewers, but I really felt the love and the pain throughout the drama.
This is easily my top 3 favorite dramas of all time, possibly my all-time #1 too.
It's a must watch.

Shin Hye Sun's Masterpiece
I don't understand why people complain about the ending. We all know that eventually they'll all return to their respective world. Everyone is unhappy because they want the King to be with JBH, not with the real KSY. But this is what happens, the same thing happened in Scarlet Heart Ryeo. We all know, whether you like it or not, they'll be back in their respective world. That's a sure thing. But, I still give it a 10/10, for originality, especially Shin Hye Sun's performance in this. Easily my favorite K Drama actress right now, despite me not finding her attractive at all. She carried the entire drama by herself.
Cha Chung Hwa's Court Lady Choi -> My Goodness ... I can't get that MAA MAAA out of my head.
I feel empty right now, because this drama brought me so much laughters. I just kept laughing and laughing and laughing.
This drama is really a drama that would make its audiences feel really good.
Highly recommended.

Everything Was Good Till Episode 13
Let's just say, everything was alright till Episode 13.Episode 13 is where they've decided to totally kill off one of the most important characters in K Drama history. That person who drives the entire drama.
They built this character really well, and fooled all of their audience that this person has a chance in surviving. But out of a sudden, the producer thought, enough is enough, let's just kill this person off. The series then reached rock bottom, and never recovered since then.
Everything else and the ending wasn't worth watching. I watched it during the live release, and I wanted to drop the drama so bad, but thought since I've endured it all the way till 13, I'll just watch till the end.
Absolutely disappointed.
