I would say its pretty good. It’s funny and enjoyable. It’s a lot of reading though. The conversation is long and witty and sometimes I would say some joke lost in translation which is too bad. But still I got most of it. But it is a very conversation based drama so you wont enjoy this if you dont enjoy reading. Production is really good as always.
I like both of the main characters. The trauma which cost them PDSD is pretty well hidden and slowly shows details as we watch the story unfold.

I think 2nd season is abit short I’m still wondering if there will be like another 6 ep coming out for this season in like a month or not? Or we are just going to go to season 3. The cliffhanger at the end is pretty good. I like how it ends .
Acting: is great. I really like all the cast.
Script: is also exciting ... it fits the style.
Production: the way it was shot and editing is like Hollywood style...
Anyways its not my cup of tea but I will wants to know how it will end so I will keep watching.

This drama is one of the best drama of the year for sure. It’s not very long. But well written. The way its edited it shows some other details at the end and at the beginning of each episode which is refreshing to watch. The relationship and script is really well written. The characters are what always we thought they will be. I mean the first impression and who they are, aren’t always the same. That’s some seriously good writing! To add such layers to characters in a short drama. It’s packed with information of each characters. Even the supporting cast members are really great characters, well rounded written. Joy of Life! There will be NO JOY in waiting for the next 2-3 years that’s for sure. Making the fan wait with such cliffhanger is abit cruel. Seriously !!! Hahah all that said,Story beside the part that is is a written story being told.... I like everything else. It’s so funny and enjoyable like the name of the story.
Love all characters! They seem to be well written, with depth and secrets. I just hope the truth comes out in a good way which will fit the story and can’t wait to find out.
There is a bit of twist and turns but its all really enjoyable!
Production is really well done. Love it.

No complains here. I mean yes I was waiting for this abit too long. And the genre is abit outdate for the trend now. But if you like the Eternal Love/ or Love and Destiny... then you will like this too. Nothing is wrong with soapy drama. It is well done for its kind. The script is enjoyable and it doesn’t have a drag-on moment (not to the point where I stop watching). I still think Love and Destiny is the best version of the peach blossom story. The Pillow story is just more of the story the couple but it doesn’t really continue to their storyline in Eternal love. But you get more details and more complete story of the couple. Anyways I dont have much to say but it is enjoyable.

It’s pretty good. I mean end credits/ opening credits songs, really tell you all the story and plots. And it is kind of that love story we are pretty much seen a lot. But they way story carries out is not bad. It’s still entertaining.
Cast/Acting:
Acting is good. So if you have good looking actors and actresses who knows how to act, that helps a lot with this type of story. I like most of the cast in this series, they are pretty good in most TV series I have seem them.
Production Values:
I actually like the productions.... set/ costume.... they are pretty good as well as actions/ camera movement...
Expectation:
Just dont think too much about it. It’s not a bad series.

I dont like it and here is WHY
Scripts/ Story:
Trailers looks like its maybe good.... but after first episode or 2nd or 3rd, it didn’t help. I love the idea of the story but they way it was made ..... just falls apart.
Basically Characters building in this series is not well done. It is kind of sloppy slapping together. There is no little moment, that make audience feel attached to the characters, or cheering for them. Everything is too easy. Like this is a story about politic, power struggles , love struggles but the conflict doesn’t feel like a conflict if every one in the story just say so.... you have to show us their struggles but we didn’t see that. I dont want to rang too much just because I dont like it but I believe it could have been done better.
Look at : Nirvana in Fire, or Love and Destiny, they way they builds characters’s conflicts and political struggles.... there was so much more Layers.... or Red Cliff .....
I mean the Bei Ting Ping is basically Zhuge Liang(Romance of the Three Kingdoms ), woman version no?
Acting/ Casts:
I dont know how talented these actors are because the script is so badly written.... even if they are good they cant really show their full skill... sadly. Even if the main actress is very good looking.
Production Values:
It’s not great. Costume could have been better. Camera/ lighting and yea.... everything could have been better.
I wouldn’t recommend it...
