The best way I can describe this is roller coaster. The number of roadblocks thrown at the leads was like... wow, seriously?! As a daily drama, I think the repetition felt a bit like a soap opera, where they rehash and rehash to keep it going. Overall it was entertaining if you don't take it too seriously. As with many dramas you will want to smack the second leading lady and possibly the second leading male as you root for the main couple. Needed a *bit* more romance for me to balance out the craziness but the main couples loyalty through it all was well worth watching.
This drama is what I call a "slow burn." It weasels its way into your heart episode after episode. With different "characters" appearing with each episode, the drama moves along nicely with great problem/resolution happening often to keep it moving along naturally. There is a nice bit of subtle comedy delivered beautifully next to some sometimes scary supernatural moments and romance. You may just find yourself saying "gojo" after this drama...
I have watched this drama 3 times now. It is lighthearted, sweet and fun. It is a perfect non-heavy, non-complicated romantic comedy. The comedy is subtle and very tongue in cheek which is why I love it so much! The romance is unexpected in places with some seriously smexy undertones and realism that I only really caught on the second viewing. If you are not into MMORPG, this might be a nice introduction as romances do truly form this way. Crazy, but true. If you are a gamer, you will love this even more as it is so relatable in that regard in the story. Have fun and watch this one!
If you enjoy Sherlock Holmes, CSI, Criminal Minds or other crime dramas, you will likely enjoy this drama. The main male lead is simply spectacular and the cute romantic developments are both subtle and enjoyable a midst an otherwise more intense story line. There is a lot of problem/resolution as cases are solved with a nice subtle overarching story line mingled in so the story and pacing felt spot on. My only issue was with the "American" actors. Yikes! Didn't totally love the last 5 minutes of the drama either (which isn't typical of a drama for me) and it hinted at a second season. I hope that's true! Overall great watch.
