You'll Melt More debut movie
For those that don't know this is the debut movie of the j pop group "You'll Melt More" featuring said members kind of like how AKB48 creates movies with their idols in it. There wasn't much reviews on this movie but the one I did find basically said don't waste your time and I'd say that is correct unless you are a fan of the group like me.
Without spoiling, it's only an hour long and one striking thing that made the movie bad is kind of how convoluted it is. It kind of didn't know what direction to take it and it seems to be jumbled up when at the end it just ended up being some generic vengeance movie more then a thriller or some introspective movie on suicide.
Acting was not good but I expected that since these are just idols. Movie was also obviously low budget, the fight scenes were hilariously over the top along with the plot being absurd with the whole resurrection and how the characters casually talk about everything even serious topics.
Music was sorta okay. The bad part was there use of stock music (which itself isn't bad) but I felt they got the scoring wrong or the music just didn't fit with the scene to the point where it made it feel awkward. Saving grace is obviously the OST that the group made. Specifically the theme song of the movie "People are not Serious" is actually really good
And also everyone is cute of course.
Still a bad movie but it is quirky and absurd that makes it kind of cute so you decide whether to watch.
