This series was absolute bull shit for so many reasons

First of all its not a BL series so i dont know where this idea came from - all the two leads talked about was his scalp treatment there was absolutely no romantic interest or feeling's involved.

One of the female characters needed to go - she sexually assulted a man while he was drunk and they tried to pass it off as comedy - that shit aint cute it so disgusting and disturbing that they believe its fine for her to do it to him, but when its the other way round people start getting mad.

Thirdly the series ended without a conclusion- the couples didnt get together, their feelings for each other (the heterosexual couple) was not explored and in all felt like they just gave up with the series and called it a day. And to conclude this shouldnt even be called a drama/series when it was just a dermatologist advertisement

My review

IDK how many people would read this but here i go

What i liked about the drama:
1- the acting actually good there were funny scenes in the drama that made me crack up
2- The music (OST) was decent it isn't my favourite and definitely wouldn't make it to my Spotify playlist but its good none the less

What i disliked about the drama:
1- The female lead's character. She's dumb. The whole story about unrequited love was actally okay but the female lead had no form of pride or shame with how she kept flinging herself to the male lead that at one point i felt that she was an embarrassment to the female gender.

Shes not the brightest person and im not asking for her to be, but i if she at least TRIED made ANY form of effort it probably would have been a different story.

When they finally get together *(a tiny spoiler for context) her man becomes a doctor and she gets mad that he isnt at her beck and call 24/7. Come on sis he's BUSY he has to save lives idk but here is when i started to hate her - she breaks up with him for this petty af reason but there is no form of communication in their relationship so it was doomed from the start

2- Sacrifices. Although in a relationship there should be sacrifices it should be two ways but not here. ONLY the male lead kept sacrificing for her but her ungrateful ass was just so extremely proud it was disgusting. She had no sense of pride before now she suddenly has it *insert eye roll* and me kissing my teeth

I sincerely hoped that they wouldnt get back together as the male lead could have done 1000000% better than her. He gave up his place in a prestigious university for her, helped her dumb ass publish a book even though she wasnt talented enough just for her never to say a common "thank you" but instead stay salty

To conclude i could never watch this drama again as i would probably lose hair from the stress i get watching the female lead - BUT you do you sis!

100% unbaised Review

Okay to start off with this review like all series i come into it with no expectations and this series left me quite fustrated.

So to all potential watchers out there first of all it has like 4 episodes (if i remember correctly) so PLEASE dont expect much. The main issues i had with the drama was:

1. the acting - perhaps for some of them it was their first time acting but it really wasnt good. I think subconsciously i was expecting chemistry that was as good as Mew and Gulf in tharntype (which i 100% recommend) so when there was nothing there i was put off.

2. The cring factor is real. This whole drama was so cringy that it took me over 2 weeks to watch it as i could never get passed one episode.

3. The plot was stupid. Okay no offence but whoever wrote that script needs a wake up call. If your a big BL fan practically over 90% of them are school setting so your drama has to stand out. This one was so disappointing that i wondered why i was wasting my time watching this. No part of this drama was fascinating and even though it was a short drama they could have spruced up the script a bit.

I would say watch this drama at your own will but i would say that i 100% dont recommend this

Honset review

I actually enjoyed this drama and found it quite exicting to watch but for me there was one massive problem with it - the female lead.

Shes is so annoying that i wanted them to kill her off or just make her an irrelevant side character and as a female my self i felt very ashamed of her. I thought that perhaps this her annoying nature would lead to an extraordinary character develpment and when it didnt, i wanted to just drop this drama. Like the acting between the two male leads is phenomenal a 10/10 but no offence the female lead's acting was not great as all she knew was to 100000% over react on little things. The director should have used his/hers common sense and just left the series as pure bromance which i felt would have lead to the drama getting a much higher rating. As i was watching the first 4 episodes on YouTube when i was reading the comments, i read that loads of people stopped watching the drama due to the female lead which honestly speaks volumes

Additionally, she needed serious discipline- she has no manners or thoughtfulness i just wanted to have this girl sent to me so i could fix that her rotten attitude - i honeslty feel that she should have been slapped many times so that she knows that her doing all that shit isnt cute. For instance she belives that the whole world revolves around her but it doesnt - and even though she is a "journalist" she cannot be an official one and instead should just be called a tabloid journalist. In criminal cases she gets involved makes up random shit so that it could be on the headlines and doenst seem to understand how much everything she does affects everyone. She got one of the male leads fired from his job, came into his home and acts as if she is a queen and he must bow down and do what she says when she is just a spoilt rich brat running away from her problems. The worst bit for me is when she faked her own kidnapping just for attention

In all this series is hands down one of my favourite chinese dramas however the female lead just annoys me deep down my bones that i always ended up skipping all the scenes that she was in. Her role in the drama was the most irrelevant as she didnt do anything to speed up the plot she should have just been cannon fodder at most.

The male leads had more chemistry than the female lead had with her man throughout the drama. I highly recommended for more people to watch it but skip all the bits that the female lead is displayed at.

Honest review

Okay to who ever thats reading this im not the type of person to sugercoat things

Positives:
- i actually LOVED the OST well like one song and it's on my spotify playlist
- the acting was really good
- the story line was interesting because i have never watched a drama with that type of storyline before

Negatives (a tiny bit of a spoiler is necessary for context):
- the female lead gets into an accident while like 2 months pregnant so her life and the babies is at stake - her husband had to pick ONE person to save and this woman was saying pick the baby. Right there i actually wondered if this woman had ANY form of common sense. There is a extremely slim ass chance that the child is going to survive ur not even half way into ur pregnancy so it hasnt developed properly. This might be harsh to somepeople but thats the dumbest shit i know that child (no offence) would not survive but u can give birth to many more if ur alive. So long story short her husband choose her and then the mf woman starts getting so mad for a baby that cannot survive regardless.
- the husband even though he was a dick in the beginning started to sincerely love her and had to make a choice between his wife and his child. He always put up this act that he was strong so that his wife could lean on him while balling his eyes out in their babies room. Just like many k dramas misunderstandings occur and the wife didnt even bother asking or shit but jumps straight into getting a divorce.
- one thing i hate the most is excessive pride and thats what the female lead has to the point where it's disgusting. She doesnt want to admit that she was wrong while her ex husband has already admitted it. At this point i just wanted him to move on and find a better woman cause she just continued to get annoying af.

To conclude, this drama is so stressful, i hate the female lead and therefore i could never in a million years rewatch this but each to their own

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk

unbiased review - as much as possible

This drama has many problems.

when i started watching this i felt like its a new version of 'boys over flowers' but the characters got to be more annoying. the main issues i had with this drama wasn't the acting skills - there wasn't any sparks flying with the male lead and female lead so the kiss scenes (just like typical k dramas) the man did all the work while the woman stood there as if shes a wall or statue. But the overall acting was very good.

The story need work. It lacks originality and it wasn't executed well as the characters were very much one dimensional so was not pleasing to watch (for me personally). I skipped many scenes in the series as i couldn't bring myself to watch it mostly due to whoever wrote that script. My main problem in this series was the female lead to sum it up - shes annoying. The first couple episodes and throughout the series all she does is cry. I am not making this up she has cried more than i have throughout my life up till now. She has no backbone is some situations , cannot handle confrontations and instead i feel subconsciously always expects someone to save her ass. And finally she is extremely prideful - she doesn't seem to understand the way the world works and expects a different outcome when she continuously refuses any sort of help . She values her pride so much that she doesn't except things that would help benefit her and her mother which made me seriously dislike her.

To sum this up watch this drama if your looking for a stereotypical rich family, a love story that takes a billion years to occur, annoying ass characters

keep in mind that this is just my opinion of this drama

This series..... i dont know how to even word how i feel about it - perhaps a hot mess would be appropriate.

When i read the description of the series i was confused- it is being portrayed and labed as a BL series but its not - its heterosexual relationship. I felt like perhaps it could be similar to History my hero when soul swapping occured however it was made expicitly clear that the male lead only had feelings for the other male lead and not his ex girlfriend who occupied the second male leads body. However this series was not like that (i forgot the name of the characters so please dont blame me if i cant name them) the first male lead only fell in love with his bestfried when Pan (i believe is the name of the girl) took over the second male leads body therefore he cannot be in love with his best friend - and can only be described as love by proxy or some weird ass heterosexual relationship but definitely heterosexual and due to this i dropped the series as soon as i found out that it even eneded sadly no offence but for me nothing was good about it - the acting was decent but it wasnt funny like how they were trying to make it seem so personally for me i found it cringy and awkward to watch

Another reason why i dropped it was the whole drama about Pan being in Kim's body she just needed to get the fuck out. I know that she ships Kim and Ohm(?) (idk his name - i honeslty forgot) but you cannot force two people to develop feelings for each other and the fact that she got so obsessed with this idea that made me extremely uncomfortable that i couldn't bare to carry on with the stupidity

As i was reading the reviews i felt so weird seeing as i am one of the few people that didnt like this drama

Story: the story was nothing special it was different but at the same time moments of it were cliche for me and i could guess what was going to happen. I usually favour the originals over the remakes but for this i loved the Chinese drama remake which i 100% recommend

Acting: the acting was good but my whole issue was the female lead who made it really hard for me to watch. I dont know how other people didnt find her annoying but thats all she was - apart from being smart she has nothing else going on for her, she was unlikeable, unpleasant to even be around and once again ANNOYING i wanted to continue with this drama but there was nothing insanely special that could have made me stay

My review isnt what it seems

Let me quickly clarify my rating for the 10 rewatch value - im only watching it for Won Suk and Ho Dol (their relationship)

"Love with Flaws" was flawed just as its name suggested. The beginning of the drama garbbed my attention as i found it really comedic and thought that perhaps i would enjoy this drama - I was so wrong. My main issue with this drama was the script even though i had issues with the characters themselves.

The whole battle between the first and second male lead was so pointless but it is still plays a massive part in 99% of K-dramas and i was just tired of it. Both the first and second male lead were problematic and the whole truma concept that this drama was focused on at one point really started to irritate me. Before i continue this is my review and my opinion and i respect people disagreeing with me just dont be rude okay? The truma boils down to female leads mother and fathers death which was caused by an irresponsible driver and the youngest sibling was left in the house when a blackout occured so now he is afraid of the dark, the second oldest male sibling wants to commit suicide and yep thats the whole jist. I appriacte the fact that there is a drama that focuses on mental health but it just got to a point where i found it ridiculous.

I understood that their parents died and yes that sucks, but why is everyone getting blame put onto them? or even putting unnessary blame unto themselves? The female lead belives that she is the cause of her parents death just because she wanted to go over to the first male leads house and thats when the accident occured, when the first male lead finds out he then believes that he is to blame because without him sending that text her parents would still be alive. This was the most bs that i had ever heard. THE ONLY PERSON TO BLAME WAS THE IRRESPONSIBLE DRIVER how is it any of your falut but if you want to feal guilty over something you didnt do sure go ahead! The consequense of this was the most irritating/annoying relationship ever. The first male lead and felmale lead get together (like they always do) and their toxic relationship begins. There was no form of communication in that relationship and the female lead would break up with her boyfriend over anything petty that i swear they break up like 10 times in one episode. To me peronally they shouldnt have been together. Practically everyone in this drama is broken and the fact that these two idiotic and broken people get together made no sense for me. It felt like a person who had never been in love or exerpienced a loss of a loved one teaching and helping another person who doesnt know either : The blind leading the blind.

The only saving grace of this drama was the relationship between Won Suk and Ho Dol the presentaion of their characters was 10/10 and the fact that they both helped eachother to grow as better humans. I would never forget this quote "he was greatful because i was living my life". The love that was shown in their relationship was amazing and i felt that they should have been the main couple instead. The most disappointing thing though was that they unfortunatly were not given enough screen time as i wanted or everyone else craved so that i could see the breakdown and devlopment of their relationship

I read most reviews for this drama and it had a rating of 8.0 so i had fairly high expectations for it and yet maybe its because i set the bar so high that the drama wasn't able to meet it or perhaps because it was so bad that my imagination was a million times better

The plot was different from most c-dramas and k-dramas that i watch - it was about pirates and im a sucker for pirates and so if they were able to execute this plot well it would go directly on my hall of fame dramas, however the screen writer, director or producer, just who ever was in charge of this sereies completly destroyed it. The female lead gets captured by the male lead and is taken aboard to their ship/lair or whereever they just happen to live, the male lead takes a liking to her and wants to marry her - the plot around here was quite fast but i didnt mind it - but she was rational and never forgot that she was kidnapped and didnt fall for her kidnapper straight away so i respected her because of it. However, this would be the last time i would ever have any positve feeling left for the female lead, long story short she escapes which yes is good for her so whatever, she goes back to her home the male lead finds her and continues persuing her. I dont romaticise kidnappig or any sort of activites like that but the male lead was extermely patient with her, loving and going above and beyond for her just to be treated like a piece of shit ( sometimes even lower than that) i got so upset with her from then on - i understand if you don't like someone but a decent human being would acknowlege their efforts and reject them so that their persuer would know on what grounds they stand on but this annoying girl (i wan tot swear but i also want to keep this review PG) made me want to get into this drama and kill her.

Moving on with the plot the male lead somehow becomes her bodyguard to protect her, when this girl wants to practice martial arts but shes so bad at it and she is just a liability whenever she joins a fight or battle - everyone would risk their own lives to save her ungreatful ass and all she would do is act as if it was their duty to protect her. Common words such as 'please' or 'thank you' i had never heard from her mouth and a bit of tmi i live in Birtian (more specifically London) and from a very young age i have been taught basic manners while this grown ass woman does'nt seem to comperhend and do something i was doing since i was 4 years old. Her rotten attitude is not just reserved for the male lead but rather everyone including her own father - i just wanted some one to slap common sense into this girl and i would happily volunteer as tribute

To end this review (sorry for those who had taken time to read it that it was qute short, i didnt manage to get very far) i don't possibly understand why this drama has such high ratings when it does'nt deserve it (in my opinon) the actors had worked hard so my hate for this drama is absolutly not directed to them but rather those behind the secens producing the drama aswell as writing the script, they truly needed to be replaced with those more competent and better to produce an outstanding piece of work from the potential of this script that has not been realised yet.

EPISODE 1-3

I started watching this series accidentally after seeing quite a lot of shorts on youtube. The premis for the show was very refreshing - one built of sex buddies, which is not portrayed a lot in the BL industry. Perhaps the closest representation was Pure from 'My gear and your gown' but the execution up until to episode 3 was extremely poor.

STORY
- As stated before the story had so much promise to be extremly good if only it was exectuted properly. From the very first episode there were too many characters intoduced at one time, therefore i had to rewatch the episode just to undertand and put the characters names to faces. Additionally, there was not enough of a solid foundation for me to have an understanding of where the plot was heading instead they filled it with sex scenes which didnt help at all and felt so random

ACTING/CAST
- I found it extremely hard to even believe that both sher and fah were friends with benefits, sometimes it felt almost comical seeing that they had absolutely no sexual chemistry. I undertand that they might be rookie actors but the desire and lust they were supposed to be feeling for each other was non existent. Plus, i dont understand how they could be 'friends with benefits' when the only emotion you can see them feel towards eachother most of the time is anger, added with the fact that they only ever get together when they are both drunk out of their minds. Perhaps i lack the understanding of what friends with benefits means but this isnt it.
- With how badly the sexual chemistry is between them, combined with the volume of sex scenes the director put into just one episode alone, i would have just prefered if it was hinted that they slept together. It was awkward to watch for me personally, and so i ended up skipping all the intimate scenes. Possibly the only part which i liked was the cuddling scene.
- One thing i cannot understand is Fah's facination with Sher - there is zero reason why he likes Sher so much if we are setting aside the supposed sexual chemistry. Both Fah and Sher to me didnt even have the tension that couples would need. For example Kinn and Porshe, In and Wang just to name 2 couples. Therefore if the sexual chemistry is lacking and basic chemistry is lacking, whats the point of this couple?

These are my thoughts up until epsidoe 3 as i cannot physically bring myself to continue with this series, once it has eneded and if it seems to have improved i might give it another go.

First impressions

So far although I find it a bit boring sometimes it's decent all around. It's the first time I have seen a drama based around MBTI and although I am a keen believer that your MBTI is influenced by your surroundings and situation, I am keen on how they plan on developing the story/angst.

The first issue I encountered was the presentation of Diew as an introvert. I don't know if the writer just picked out the stereotypical traits that introverts had, but I found myself just dissociating with it (as a fellow introvert and INTJ to be specific). I can understand that some introverts are more reserved than others. Still, I would have loved to see more depth to his character as all that is being portrayed is a silent kid who is somewhat afraid of strangers and panics easily when faced with social situations. Introverts are a lot more complex and not just cut and paste and I would love if they touch on the subject. If a drama is going to be based around personality types I would expect them to show the different ways introverts can communicate, feeling drained socially, the difficulties of navigating through social situations/daily life, and how you can change from being an anxious introvert to a social introvert or even breaking down myths. But perhaps I am thinking too deeply about this series.

Secondly, I am not a turtle expert but that cage that they are keeping the turtle seems way too small to simulate the turtle. The main reason why I am mentioning it is due to the representation of Diew as a turtle lover. I would assume that if one loves an animal a lot and that animal makes up a big part of their personality and life they should do their proper research and try to provide the absolute best for their pet. Although I don't doubt Diew's love for his turtle, I would have just loved to see a more knowledgeable pet owner.

I love how God is always respectful of Diew's boundaries and never crosses them by making sure he is comfortable in their relationship at all times. Although I find the 'talking without seeing each other's faces' ridiculous I love how God does his very best to respect Diew's wishes which includes making sure his friends don't make Diew uncomfortable.

The communication between God and Diew so far is amazing especially when it comes to expressing their thoughts and emotions clearly. I love their balcony talks as it's the only time where I feel that Diew's personality shines rather than the one-dimensional side that is portrayed in his everyday life. I am also eager to see how their communication evolves in their relationship.

The series is overall decent (the mixing for the OST is interesting, to say the least) but I hope they develop the storyline more going down.
