I have been postponing watching this series since .. before it is released ..
Why ? Because I could not get over ArhitxKongpob (main reason) and FramexBook (secondary reason)
Although I have watch other BL's with different pair, ArhitxKongpob is one that leaves a very strong impression on me.

I also feel rather sceptical when I read the summary, a ghost and a human?
What are the possibilities of a 'happy ending'? Transmigration? Reincarnation? Both doesn't sounds very appealing to me ..

So, finally I muster up my will to watch them, and I SHOULD HAVE WATCH THEM EARLIER ><

Story-wise, the development of the romance is SLOW .. yes .. really really SLOW
Perhaps my bias, I have been waiting for the relationship to develop, but it is SLOW ..
and the 'catalyst' of the development of relationship, is not something that I would horray on, but the delivery is acceptable .. (not the annoying type)

I love how they address the issue of Than's uncertainty regarding his feelings / orientation ..
The coming out scenes, well I love how he comes out to his mom ! It's a tearjerker for me ..
Hoorah to Than's Mom !

As a romance series, I would say they did a pretty good job.
HOWEVER .. If you come for the 'mystery', or 'detective-ish' ones, you won't get much out of this series..
I don't feel the unfolding of mystery is well prepared .. and how everyone is connected to everyone .. It's odd in a way ?
The revelation of truth, seems to be a bit, forced (?)

The ending of the series .. well ..
It's, what I would say, not actually a conclusive ones (?)
But I think that it is the best possible option for us now ..

Overall, this series is a good watch, and not draggy

PS: If you have extra time, I would really recommend you to read the novel too !

my first Japanese BL

Story wise, it is good but somehow it still have spots to develop better
Acting wise, I love Mr. Gamouda best ! He is so cool ! So savage!
He shows his 'play room' to the 'innocent' Kijima, its kinda cute to see ><
And the way he laugh, its just cute lol ><

Kido, damn I don't like this story plot type ..
The typical having a girlfriend, dating a guy, being uncertain but two-timing ..

Kijima, he is good !
Very uke type ! but cute too .. and a bit sassy ~

Kuzumi, good looking !
Can't say much about him here, as he just appear in the last moments ..
But I think he is earnest type (?)

As perhaps this is my first Japanese bl movie, it gives me the feels ~
Good job for the feels, but could be better !

I still love Kongpob's straightfowardness and 'I have eyes only for Arthit'
*though in reality, it's really rare to find one like this, obsession in a healthy way*

It shows more challenges, real life challenges of working adult and the judgement of the societies .. (still soft though)
Although I would say that this does not gives a totally fairness to Arhit .. Referring to the novels, there are Arhit's inner monologues that would express his feelings better ..

I am still filled with wonder and love for them ><
Thank you Bittersweet !

Not satisfying ..

Firstly, I recall a manga of similar plotline .. I remember the manga is pretty sweet ~
However for this movie (I watch this and the next one in one go), I would say that the execution is not that satisfying ..

[This is a review for both Monday - Thursday and Friday - Sunday]

I love the story, a slow developing, confusing feelings ..
A little misunderstanding due to feelings and thoughts not properly communicated ..

I have nothing against the actors .. BUT I would say that they does not portray the character well ..
It is as if that the execution of the character, and the way the story says the character is supposed to be, does not adds up, in my humble opinion ..
I am no expert, but this is my opinion as one of the numerous audience out there ..

For Seryou ..
The supposed image of him is a popular guy, new girlfriend every week
A popular, charming one .. A very gentleman ..
In the movie, the character of Seryou seems more of, a soft, weak uke (?)
One point that I pretty much dislike is the amount of powder on Seryou's actor .. I don't know whether it's Japanese culture or is there any certain purpose behind it, but I find Seryou's actor overly unnatural 'white' face (from powder or foundation? not sure, not an expert too)
And Seryou's general expression is more of,.. a very timid person ? But not really, it's like timid, yet stiff ? and rather odd ?
In real life, a person executed that way is, in my very humble opinion, unlikely to be someone who is very popular and has a girlfriend every week ..

For Yuzuru ..
The story portrays him to be someone 'cool', whose behaviour contrast the appearance ..
But I do not really see this .. It's more like, we get to know this from his flashbacks of rejection and told my his friend.. aside from that? Not really ..
I think that if the contrast is executed better, I would love his character even more !

questions unanswered ..

The series starts off okay, however it became kinda confusing imo ..
The flashbacks cuts is not 'smooth' .. and there are questionable part of the plot ..
At times, I got confused which is the 'present' and the 'past' ..
The ending leaves me unsatisfied .. like, it's not a proper closure ..

What happened 8 years ago ? What cause Gulf to leave ? (I know they say family disapprove, but specifically HOW)
What does the dad do ? How did the parents knew back then ? What did they do ? Why is the dad sorry about it ?
and the ending.. they agree to reconcile and start a relationship .. but then how would they break it to their family ? to the opposing aunt ? to Jackson who is supposed to marry Bank soon ? (tbh not a fan of 'cheating')

When I reached the end of the 12th episode, I thought that I missed another episode or something .. they end it too abruptly that I'm confused .. leaves me feeling, 'wait, that's it? did I miss something ?'
Or did I really missed something ?

Cute light story ~

Overall, it is a cute, light story ~
If you're looking for a light watch, this is the one for you ..
But if you're looking for an in-depth, deep story plot, then I would not recommend this ..

It's a light, easy watch !
<15 minutes per episode made it an easy re-watch ~

PS: In my humble opinion, this web-series has more potential to develop
Improvements in the continuity of plots and character development would be nice
(but ofc that would make it no longer a 'mini-series')

My First Thai BL .. and it is GOLD !

I found this BL accidentally .. when i scroll to a manga reading site, and they have this series as one of the early BL's ..
I started watching and I am hooked !

THE ULTRA CUTE MAIN COUPLE !
YES ! They are both sooo damn cute AF !
Kongpob is very straightforward toward Arhit
Arhit is shy and tsun-ish, but caring in his own way
I can't explain but the chemistry between them is damn, like UwU

The story line are not very unique, but the execution is very nice !
I'm so damn in love with this series !

The feels I got, and the after effect of having 'there's no other series as good'
Recently .. I found more and more BL, and yes they are great !
BL series are getting better and better .. but SOTUS is gold at its age .. and for me personally, I still love them ^^

Salute to the author of the original series !
Salute to the scriptwriter !
Salute to those in charge of the selection of actors !
Salute to Krist and Singto !

Fun Fact:
Krist play as Arhit, senior of Kongpob played by Singto
While in real life, Krist is Singto's junior in university

Fun Fact 2:
The story is inspired by Singto as a head hazer
and Krist used to be scared of Singto when he was hazed ><

I love this !

I read the manga before watching the series, and I would say that I love both of them !
For this mini-series of 4 ep, I find the progress a bit too fast .. Not rushed, but if they progress a bit slower, it would gives more feels to the process ..

I love the actors, they are cute but they still depicts them as a man in their own way !
I love Yuki's cute smile ><

As for the music, I don't pay much attention to it, but it's decent ..
Rewatch value .. I don't generally rewatch as I have a lot of series, movies, etc to watch ..
But for those who likes to rewatch, this is pretty good ^^

*MINI SPOILER*
As for Akira, toward the dreading scenes, I feel bad for Yuki !
However, the way Akira is brought up, with a mom focusing so much on being 'normal', living a 'normal' life, etc, it is very normal to be burdened and conflicted ..

Oh, and cheers to Big Sis ! Very supportive and wishes the best for her brother ^^
We need more of her !

The part that I find most touching is when Akira comes out to his parent, the sudden outburst from a long suppression ..
and of course, it is settled beautifully with his father's words .. A few words, but his expression when he conveys them speaks louder !

I would love it even more if the ending of the series shows more of the scenes after they finally end up together, I find those parts are a bit too short and wayyy rushed !
Presenting the ending such as one in the manga would be even more touching ><

But overall, I love this !

Definitely not one of my favourites

I don't really get the feel, and the story is .. Well, not very good ?
Not something that wow me or something
Yeah, it does raise up the issue of crossdressing, however, not in a very good way I think

It portrays the confusion and contradiction within himself for crossdressing
He strictly points out that he's not gay harshly
And even react strongly when the other guy is pushing his feeling on him
Plus there's a 'rape attempt' toward him too
But then somehow suddenly the plot shifted toward him being more willing ? Idk
I mean it doesn't explains that well the shift ..

The other guy, is coming kinda 'too strong'
In a way that he doesn't seems like he actually try to be considerate of the other party's feeling
Merely pushing his feelings, although I know that he is also at a loss on what to do
Like, yeah, I know he is supposedly being so sincere and perhaps someone with lack of experience
But in a way it seems like he keep pushing and pushing and kinda lost it (in the attempted rape)
Fortunately he stopped before going to far

BTW .. I read the manga, and in the manga they explore a bit more of the inner monologue, what they are thinking and stuff, WHICH is not portrayed in the movie by either dialogue or monologue / inner thoughts
If the drama express more of them too, it would be a nicer execution of the story as the viewers would understand the character's feeling and what are they thinking better

Luo Fei.. very sherlock-ish; but also conan-ish.. and in between, I see a lot of zhao yunlan there :o

Qin Xiaoman, she's kinda annoying and dumb (?) i mean, till the end, its like, well, there is development but not enough to make me like her .. i need to repeatedly remind myself that, 'she is new, she is fresh grad' etc etc so that I can bear watching her .. i mean, its too childish-ish and reckless many times

Benjamin is cute >.< hehe he looks like he have a thing for luofei ho ho ~~ but seems like luofei likes xiaoman ..

The ending .. WTH IS THAT ENDING??!
am not satisfied with the ending .. urgh TT____TT

I love Kuzumi !

I love Kuzumi !
He is cute, earnest, and in my opinion, has a more genuine expression (?)
It's funny how he is 'highly imaginative ><

I would love it better if they give a bit more continuation into the story .. I feel like I have not been given a 'proper closure' with the ending ..
It feels like 6 episodes are too short ><

Compared to its prequel, I would say that the impact of the feels isn't as tough as the prequel ..
But I love this story line !

PS: I just knew that it is a sequel of Mood Indigo when i start watching it ! What a luck !
