Return of Ultraman is an amazing looking show, both by it's striking visual and tight cinematography, on a level that might have only been reached by a few episodes of Ultraman and Ultraseven, and while the striking and unique visuals become much rarer by the end of the show, it remains very well shot with lots of great shot composition and camera angles which I find immensely inspiring.
It also has many incredibly writen stories, but many of those fail to become an episodes of the same caliber when it comes time to fight the monster of the week and the episode falls apart narratively.
There are also less of these later on in the show, but more well-rounded episodes with a really good story that naturally leads to the monster appearing.
