not your cliché bl series
before watching this i had no idea who maxtul were, even though i was a part of the bl community for quite some time. man their chemistry is NO JOKE. it all felt so genuine, not a single scene where it felt like they were acting. i am a hardcore maxtul fan now!coming to the series, I LOVE IT period
i really wanted them to make a bl which is not based on the clichéd university romcom, but one with a serious plot. honestly, i have NO complaints for this series. ZERO. ITS ALL SO PERFECT. That and Sorawit were the cutest out there, i couldn't handle how fluffy their couple was aghhhh. sorawit was an adorable little baby. i am not going to write about the other charaters here because i dont want to add the 'spoilers' tag
in conclusion, JUST WATCH THIS DRAMA TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

one of the best feel good drama
its a simple one. dont expect much. the chemistry between the mls is the driving force for the whole show, take that out, you wont have a lot left. production and cinematography was good for a low budget series. its more of a character based series than a plot based one so don't expect heavy twists and turns. fluke and flame were like magic together and i hope they get casted for more series as mls.first 8 episodes were kind of slow (still entertaining though) the last 2 episodes seemed very rushed. like they could've spent less screentime into por's cheating plot and brought back fern earlier than the last episode.
i also wish they put a little more effort into the side characters. boss and toy had a lot of potential. the het couple were kind of uninteresting hence unnecessary imo.
the sole reason why you should watch this is because of the fluttering chemistry between mork and tawan, they stole the show for me

most wholesome BL ever
i inteded to watch this from a long time but hesitated for some odd reason, and boy do I regret not watching it before. Also damn this BL is wayyyy too underrated. If you're looking for a fluffy BL with cute scenes your'e at the very right place. This BL will just melt your heart at every scene. Adachi's cute antics along with Kurosawa's charming aura will have you addicted to the J-drama. However, if you want some steamy bed scenes, well i wouldn't recommended it as this drama dosen't have a single proper kissing scene let alone a bed scene. But i bet you won't be disappointed even if there aren't such scenes. It is so freaking fluffy and cute i just can't ???putting the fluff aside, i would like to highlight some important subjects this BL covered, which i really appreciate:
• Protesting against homophobia: people who watched the bl probably know what i am talking about. Rokaku, (idk the spelling, don't come @ me) being the supportive friend he is protected his gay best friend minato againt Tsuge who, they supposed, was avoiding minato because he found him to be gay. Obviously its not true, i am not going to elaborate the context because that would take time. Anyways, i appreciate rokaku's protective nature and wish i had a friend like him :(
• Kurosawa respecting Adachi's decisions/Kurosawa prioritising consent: Man, Kurosawa has to be one the best BL leads. Even though he liked our little adachi for a long time, he never crossed the line when it came to his cute lover, always respected his boundries. He understood Adachi's dilemma about losing his virginity and never forced him into doing things. That company dinner scene where they had to kiss and Kurosawa sensed adachis fear and kissed his temple, had me in tears. We stan a respectful man !!! The series had multiple such scenes where kurosawa proved himself to be a gentleman and treasured adachi with all he has.
• Adachi's character development: Adachi went through some huge transformations throughout the series. From being this little anxious, socially awkward boy to gaining confidence of himself, standing for his best friend tsuge, confessing to his lover. Also the competition scene was so heartwarming, even though he didn't win it, he won in life. Kurosawa played a major role in his character development which made their love even more special.
•Aromantic/Asexual representation: Now i may be wrong about this one but since it was not clear in the series itself, i can consider it this way. correct me if im wrong but I don't think there are any BLs with such representation. Fujisaki's character was really refreshing to watch. finally, a BL that doesn't potray women love rivals as a crazy person.
The thing that sets this BL apart from other BLs is how the makers managed to insert every kind of charater and amalgamte it into one story.
HOPING FOR A SEASON 2 !!!!!!!

the best possible amalgamation of fluff and angst in a series
i was tired of the cliché romcom bls, and being a lover of the action and crime & investigation genre, i jumped to viki as soon as i finished reading the synopsis on mdl. and man was i surprised.the chemistry, A1
the acting, A1
the story A1
everything about the series is so perfect. the way they managed to include the little bittersweet romantic scenes between the two "enemies " in the middle of a dramatic action sequence, had my stomach churning with anticipation.
the story was very well scripted.
also i have never loved a second couple as much as i loved jack and zhao zi. those two have my whole heart. they were so so so cute ahhhhh... especially zhao zi being an innocent little fawn and jack having a sinister wolf like personality. their contrasting personas matched so well.
