A heartwarming journey paired with a little suspense
This drama follows the journey of people who have broken pasts, but want to change for the better. Even though unpredicted, unfortunate events can happen, the process in which one heals from it is well captured in this drama.Story: The story is really well-paced and the plot is a nice slow-burn. The balance between romance, healing, and suspense is well written, and it keeps the story moving. The dialogue is also wonderful. I could listen to Da-jeong and Young-do talk for hours! The relationships in this drama are more mature, as the characters take time to truly understand each other, and learn to take chances since life is short.
Acting: It goes without a doubt that the acting is amazing. Since the cast has so many seasoned actors/actresses, the acting is on point. The actors/actresses convey the characters so well, from the comedic moments to the more sorrowful ones. Seo Hyun-jin's crying scenes are just so heart-wrenching, I found my self tearing up along with her.
Music: The music is this drama is really good! My personal favorite is Still Wonder by Ha Hyunsang, it was stuck in my head for days! The music for the more emotional scenes are wonderful as well!
I would definitely recommend watching this if you are looking for a good slow-burn, healing drama!

A cute, somewhat realistic look into the world of editing, publishing, and writing.
This drama has a cute little charm to it that kept my attention through all 36 eps.What I liked:
1. The acting was surprising good. I have seen Ryan Ding in a few dramas before, but he plays the role of Zhou Chuan really well. Also, Esther Yu fits Chu Li really well too. I haven't seen Esther in any dramas before, so this was a good first impression. The other actors and actresses played their role really well, and there wasn't too many over exaggerated scenes.
2. The lessons the drama talks about are really realistic. Many people look at the editing, publishing, and writing industry and think it's easy, but this drama paints it under a somewhat realistic light. The lessons of perseverance, belief, hard work, and many others are well-incorporated into the story.
3. The chemistry is super cute!
4. The OST is so catchy, I had it stuck in my head for so long :)
5. The story was pretty good. I was really glad that the Song Xi situation was dealt with quickly and the leads didn't break up for some petty reason. Most of the relationships were well written.
What I wasn't a fan of:
1. The pacing of the story was a little slow in the middle, and many eps felt like filler eps. Luckily, the story picked up in the last third.
2. I wasn't really digging the second leads relationship, mainly because they glossed over the reason they broke up in the first place. It kind of felt like "drama magic" where someone dies and they magically forgive each other and everything is back to normal again.
Overall, this is a good drama to watch! It's pretty light-hearted and mostly realistic.

A Well-Made Slice of Life Drama
This has got to be one of the best slice of life dramas I have ever watched. From the witty dialogue to the realistic lessons this drama holds, I would definitely recommend people to watch this. The characters are so well written, and the actors/actresses really brought the characters to life. I must say that this drama is very refreshing. It touches on many issues people face everyday, from coming out to loving yourself. I felt that there were some small plot holes, but it didn't throw the drama off-track. Nothing about the drama feels forced and it is overall a very enjoyable watch.Was this review helpful to you?
