High expectations
(Before you read my review, please keep in mind, I never mean to discourage anyone who wants to watch the show. I'm simply stating my personal opinions and feelings. Everyone has different tastes and interests, so you might end up liking this show!)Before I jumped into this show, I checked the reviews, and they were all high ratings. It's hard to find a bad review on this show. With that in mind, I expected this show to blow me away. Sadly, as soon as it started, there were so many cringey scenes, and the main police officer guy was kind of obnoxious. I had read a review that said the growth of the characters in the show is amazing, so I stuck with the show with hopes the characters would grow and the storyline would get interesting. However, I felt the characters didn't change, and the entire show was lacking. If I'm completely honest, I'm an easy person to please when it comes to shows, but I just wasn't feeling this one. I wanted to see the characters develop and the relationship between the main couple blossom. I felt they went from hating each other, then to tolerating each other, then to dating without really having a full connection yet. Many characters on the show made irrational decisions and did things in spite to affect other characters. I also hate to admit it, but I had to physically force myself to finish this show, which is rare! Overall, I couldn't connect with the characters or the storyline. I would like to perhaps a few years from now re-watch this show and maybe try to connect with it.

One of the best Thai/BL shows in my book.
A Tale of Thousand Stars is a rare gem. They don't quite make shows like this one. The storyline, characters, scenery, music, and acting were phenomenal. This show has a lot of value and really makes you take a step back and analyze your own life. I've seen my fair share of Thai/BL shows, but this one truly left me stunned. The storyline is intriguing and meaningful, and the characters are so full of depth. The romance is slow but amazing. You can tell it's there just between the exchanged looks and actions of the characters, and the build-up is worth the wait. The growth of the main characters was one of my favorite things about this series. Tian is easily my favorite, and I was rooting for him the entire time. Mix and Earth, the main actors, did beyond amazing, and I would love to see more of them in the future. I'm crossing my fingers GMMTV continues to make shows like this because this is exactly the kind of shows we need to have. Was this review helpful to you?
Since it's really hard to describe what this show is about, I like to explain it as that weird dream you strangely don't want to leave so you can see how it plays out. YYY is a funny show, and the characters are each compelling in their own ways. If you're looking for a different BL show or simply a comedy you've never seen before, check this one out. It's a breath of fresh air and the OST will make you dance at the beginning of every episode.

Agh, this show was so cute! If you're looking for a sweet and fun romantic drama/comedy this is the show for you. The main couple was so adorable and had such a stable relationship I couldn't help but always smile during their scenes. I really liked how they didn't rush into the relationship at full speed. They took their time and explored their friendship first, even though we high key knew Gu Weiyi was already head over heels for Situ Mo. I also really wanted to mention how although these characters were so different, they fit perfectly together. They didn't try to change the other person in any way. They embraced and loved each other's differences. The ending was so cute, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a light and happy show.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This show had a lot of good going for it in the first half, which is why I rated it kind of high. However, Addicted has a lot of bad going for it as well. I'm a big fan of the enemies to friends to lovers trope, which is exactly what happened between Bai Luo Yin and Gu Hai. In the beginning, their relationship was adorable. However, later on, in the show, Gu Hai becomes extremely aggressive, and whenever Bai Luo Yin says no or pushes Gu Hai off he just ends up pressuring Bai Luo Yin more, and it's extremely upsetting and uncomfortable to watch. I really wish they could have handled the relationship between the two of them better because they had a lot of potential. Also, the storyline was okay, the acting was very good, and it does unfortunately end a cliffhanger. I would be lying if I said the ending didn't leave me a bit upset because I did kind of want to find out what happened. I believe they had a second season planned, but China banned the show before it even finished airing. Was this review helpful to you?
Okay, now onto the good stuff. The main reason I stayed for this show is because of Ram and King. Dear lord, these two stole my heart from their first interaction and until the very end of the show. I love the dynamic between Ram and King. They're so understanding and caring about one another. They don't rush into anything, and it's the perfect slow burn romance. They are hands down one of the best side couples in any BL show. The main reason I want to watch My Engineer 2 is because of them. I want to see their relationship progress and play out. Mek and Boss, another side couple were cute, and I did enjoy watching their scenes together.
Overall, the storyline was okay. It was a funny show which is a plus! I'm hoping in the second season they can get Bohn and Duen back to how they were at the beginning of season one. I'm also really hoping we get to learn more about Ram and see his relationship with King blossom into the beautiful couple I know they'll be!

Top Notch Action and Bromance!
Bloodhounds follows two boxers named Geon-Woo and Woo-Jin as they work together to take down a ruthless evil loan shark and his goons. I have to say that I absolutely loved this show. Woo Do-Hwan and Lee Sang-Yi had fantastic chemistry and truly brought to life and did justice to the bromance and characters. As you can probably sense I'm a sucker for a good bromance. The fight scenes were phenomenally choreographed, and I was on the edge of my seat for every single fight. I also loved the badass female characters in this show they were terrific. The story was pretty good and kept me invested for the most part until the end. There are a lot of side characters I loved to see, and I felt they added a lot to the story. Park Sung-Woong, who played the villain, did a great job of being hateful and frustrating to watch. I don't want to spoil the show too much, and instead will recommend you check it out for yourself! Was this review helpful to you?
Masterpiece
For a second, I forgot I was watching a show and not a big-screen movie. I won't deny, at first, I was hesitant to start this series because it takes place in high school, and I don't really like watching high school dramas. However, once I started 'I Told Sunset About You,' I was blown away. The acting was hands down spectacular, the storyline and characters were so real and flawed, the scenery was beautiful, and I really loved the music. The characters are seniors in high school, but the main focus of the drama is them preparing, studying, and working hard to get into college, which drives the entire plot. This show can be quite slow, but I surprisingly really enjoyed it and found it moved at just the right pace. 'I Told Sunset About You' is not just a BL series. It's so much more. It's about family, friendship, first love, sexuality, and finding yourself. I'm genuinely interested to see the direction and obstacles the characters will face in the second season. Was this review helpful to you?
One of my new favorite dramas!
I just finished this show, and I'm a bit speechless, to be honest. This show blew me away in such an amazing way with the storyline, the characters, and the acting. I fell in love with almost everything about this show, and it has instantly grabbed a top place on my list. 'Just Between Lovers' has a lot going on like trauma, healing, relationships, drama, romance, comedy, and so many other things. I loved how all the characters have true development, and you can see it span out throughout the show. As sad as I am that I won't see these characters anymore, the ending was perfect, and I'm so happy with everything! Please check out this show it's beyond beautiful. Was this review helpful to you?
Life: Love on the Line (Director's Cut)

Beautiful and Real
Before watching "Life: Love on the line," I had never watched any BL movies or Japanese BL shows, and I'm so glad this was my first one. I really love how this movie showed the progression of a relationship starting from teenagers in high school to adults. They showcased real characters with flaws and real struggles. The storyline was amazing and included everything necessary, and didn't include anything that didn't add to the story. The actors did a spectacular job, and I really felt their chemistry and emotions. Yuuki was my favorite character, and as funny as it may sound, I truly related to him the most. I loved how imaginative he was and his personality. I'm glad I watched the director's cut before the episode series because I enjoyed the added scenes at the end and seeing the acceptance and change of certain characters. I was so happy and satisfied with this movie and most definitely will rewatch it in the future. If you're debating about watching the series or the director's cut, I highly suggest the director's cut!Was this review helpful to you?

Only complaint is it's not longer!
'To My Star' had everything I loved, from characters with depth to one of my favorite tropes, which is opposites-attract, one of the male leads was funny, and the other was serious. This, hands down is one of my favorite Korean BL shows. If this show was longer, it could have been even more spectacular, we could have learned more about the characters and their pasts, we could have seen the main couple's relationship grow even more and their perfect chemistry. Honestly, I would have loved to see more simply because the story was so intriguing to me. The actors did a pretty amazing job, far better than some other BL shows I've watched, and I completely agree with a review I had read before that said the actors really had chemistry and went for it, no weird stiff kissing like some other shows, the ending actually left me giddy. I also enjoyed the music/song they used for the show. Overall, I would definitely rewatch this show, and this girl can even hope they make another season because I already miss the characters so much. Was this review helpful to you?
A show that will engage you and take your breath away!
The Untamed is truly a show that lives up to the hype it receives. The characters, story, scenery, and music are breathtaking. I became so deeply invested in the characters and storyline that I couldn't stop watching, and before I knew it 50 episodes felt too little. The casting was beyond perfect, and the chemistry between everyone was amazing! Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian were the most perfect duo, and watching their scenes was one of my favorite parts of this series. The fight scenes were extremely fun! Yes, there was plenty of dramatic flying and dramatic action but that's what made it so fun! It's going to be hard to move on from this drama and find something nearly as amazing, but on the bright side, I can always come back to The Untamed and relive the beautiful and fun moments! The Untamed will forever be one of my favorite dramas and I highly suggest you watch it, you truly won't regret it!

So much potential!
I have to start by saying the concept of this show is really cool and different. I went into this show super excited because the whole being able to go into a comic/webtoon and a creepy cloaked villain sounded right up my alley. The show started pretty strong and intrigued me quickly, there weren't a whole lot of explanations on how or why the main character was able to go into the comic, but I figured it would be answered later on in the series (it never was). I personally felt like they stretched the show out more than necessary, and I saw about ten different places they could have stopped. Towards the end, the storyline began to get confusing and strayed from the magic it started with. There were also times I didn't really connect or feel the chemistry between characters. I do have to say the acting was great and the music was good, which is a plus. I mainly think it was the storyline that was lacking for me. I'm still really glad I watched this show, I feel like everyone should watch it at least once, but I do not think I would rewatch it in the future, sadly. Was this review helpful to you?
Rapunzel but she's basically hungry all the time.
I can't believe I didn't start this show sooner! I laughed, I cried, I squealed, and I loved every minute of it. I absolutely loved this show. I really liked how unpredictable this story and the characters were. I also really enjoyed the whole fairytale and book writing aspect of it. I'm so glad I went into this show not knowing too much about it. I personally think the ending was perfect and tied up fairly well. If you are undecided or debating to watch this show, don't overthink it and just start! Was this review helpful to you?
