The Lovely Complex anime was the reason that I decided to definitely add this to my list, same reason as a lot of you that have, I'm sure. The anime was funny, cute, and didn't seem very artificial. This, on the other hand.... Story: Some bits were actually funny, but not enough for a comedy. Very few and far between. It also felt rushed and unrealistic/cliche. I felt sorry for Risa's character because of her emotions but other than that, nothing moved me. The story was very very basic of a typical school romance. Cast: I was excited when I realised that Mizushima Hiro would be in it but he had zero presence and? I didn't even recognize him until I was about a third of the way through. He's the only actor I know from the cast. The acting, though? Very average. No-one stood out as a very good actor in my eyes, not even Hiro. Music: Eh. Summary: Watch this movie if you feel like killing some time because it isn't painful to watch, it's just not very exciting at all. If you want a powerful love story, *definitely* look for something else.
